A charming shifter romance of an older male dragon shifter and his younger virgin nanny. Deacon is the head of all the dragon families. He brokered the peace between them after years of infighting. He has a young daughter Madeline and needed a nanny to care for her. So, he went to an exclusive nanny service named Ladon Nanny Services. At the same time Dixie Clementine, left her home in Waynesford, Mississippi and heading for New Orleans, Louisiana. She was running from an alcoholic, drug using, abusive ex-boyfriend. She was also leaving behind her alcoholic, abusive father and her beloved mother and grandmother. It was her grandmother that made it possible for her to leave in secret. When Dixie arrived in New Orleans, she needed to get a job asap. At the local library, she used their computers to find a job. That's when she saw the ad from a nanny service. She applied for the position. They called and the next day she had an interview. She met with the client, Deacon Brewster. if she passed the interview, she then would work for him. Deacon always trusted his gut and his gut told him Dixie was the right person for the job. He had to give Dixie one last interview with the hiring manager. Deacon brought his young daughter Madeline into the office to see if the two of them could get along. Dixie charmed little Madeline. Deacon explained to Maddy that she would be getting a nanny to watch over her when he was at work and if she wanted Dixie to be that nanny. Maddy enthusiastically said yes. Deacon gave Dixie the job. Since it was a live-in nanny job and Dixie only had the clothes on her back, it was easy to move in with the Brewster family. Deacon gave her a personal credit card so she could get a new wardrobe and take Maddy out shopping. Dixie had a lot of adjusting to do. She was a small-town girl who did not grow up wealthy. Now she was now ensconced in a plush environment. She also had to get used to their eating habits of a lot of red meat. But she adjusted well. One day, Deacon told Dixie to prepare to escort him to a ball. He told her it was for all the employees from different industries that worked under him, (It was actually a get together of the head dragon families of New Orleans). Deacon had not had the conversation with Dixie yet about the dragon shifter world. But she was more aware that he thought. The evening of the ball, Dixie was introduced by Deacon to many important people. One in particular was Vincent Dubois. He's not a favorite of Deacon and Dixie got a bad vibe from him. Later that evening, a fatal disaster occurred. There were evil dragons that eliminated whole families in order to knock Deacon out of power. This was only the beginning of Deacon's and Dixie's difficulties. Deacon had to keep Maddy and Dixie safe at all cost. There now was a war started by a faction of the dragon realm. It gets very exciting after this point. The story is full of action, danger, kidnappings, romance and love. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dixie Clementine shook in fear as her drunken boyfriend tried to find where she was hiding. He usually just kept drinking until he passed out. But despite the whole bottle of bourbon and going out drinking with his friends, he wasn’t even slowing down this time! Once she had thought she loved him, now she only felt disgust, hoping that soon he would pass out and leave her alone. She had never slept with him, and now he seemed to be adamant about her giving in. He was cursing at her and somehow more out of control for some reason. When Dixie spied the little baggie with the white powder, she realized why she felt in more danger this time.
Jamie came back to the bedroom with two classes of bourbon and informed her they were going to be having sex tonight. She accepted the glass, then threw the contents in his eyes and ran. Grabbing car keys and her purse, she raced out the door. Now what would she do? Where could she go?
Dixie went to her old family home. Although her drunken father was prepared to take her back to her boyfriend, her grandmother took her aside and gave her money she had saved so she could escape out the window. She went to New Orleans and applied for a nanny job when she saw the ad. Fortunately, she was hired.
Deacon Brewster was the head of the dragon families in New Orleans. He needs someone trustworthy to take care of his daughter, Maddy, while he concentrates on keeping the peace among the dragons. Fortunately, Dixie interacted well with Maddy and Dixie was hired for the live-in position of nanny.
Things were not going well with Deacon’s efforts at keeping peace among the dragons. In an attempt to take the power from Deacon, attacking dragons killed many at a charity ball. Could Deacon protect Dixie and Maddy from the dragon war that had begun? Could he retain his power, or would he be defeated?
There was a great deal of action in this book. Having the female character stand up for herself and find the strength to get out of a bad situation was a positive spin. The story line moves at a good pace and I enjoyed reading it.

Sky Winters knows how to write hot romantic tales that are also well plotted, well written and loads of fun. That was certainly the case with her latest, Dragon's Virgin Nanny (Nanny Shifter Service Book 4). This is a great story both as a virgin nanny / alpha dad story and as take that’s full of loads of pure paranormal romantic fun (even ignoring that we are talking dragons here: and I love dragons). It had just what I wanted, was well written, and had a great plot full of perfectly heated romance. I simply adored its leads, Dixie and Deacon, and their wonderful explosively hot chemistry. They were a pleasure to watch as they developed their relationship over the course of the pages. The cast of supporting characters were also simply superb. What more I could one ask for? But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - this book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend.

What you will find in this book is: good & evil dragon shifters, a crazy ex-boyfriend (Jamie), twists & turns, intrigue, attractions, secrets, shock, disbelief, manipulations, dislike, action, danger, enemies, memories, family issues, abduction, threats, blackmail, physical conflict, love, happiness and a few steamy scenes.
The story-line & plot is interesting, well written and entertaining. The characters are quite well developed and realistic with their emotional feelings. I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

Here is Dixie, a girl from a small backwoods town with not a lot of options. Stuck with a druggie, alcoholic boyfriend that is tired of waiting for Dixie to sleep with him. After a year of dating and living together, he thinks he deserves what she is not willing to give and tries to forcefully take it. With the help of her grandmother, she escapes to New Orleans and a new life. It's not as easy as she hoped. She becomes responsible for the welfare of the daughter of the head of the dragon clans, Deacon. There is betrayal, kidnapping, drug addicts causing mayhem and an unexpected love. Exciting addition to the Nanny Shifter Service series.

This book is probably the worst out of the nanny shifter series. Not only does it follow the same cookie cutter format as the other three stories, it also is horribly edited story! First the little girls mothers a human, then next her mother was a dragon. Which is it? Then there’s the issue that the come back from a date but master the babysitters no wear to be found, or maybe it’s just not important. It’s really sad that this story had so many grammatical errors, especially after being boxed up for a book series box st. Most authors I know try to clean things up before publishing a box set. This series isn’t worth your money or time.

Excellent contemporary billionaire dragon/nanny romance. Dixie ran due to her alcoholic/drugged up ex-boyfriend. She is hired by a wealthy businessman who needs a nanny for his daughter, Maddy. She feels a strong attraction to her new boss but ignored. Deacon doesn't believe in relationships and readers find out why. The author did an excellent job developing the characters as well as the intrigue, suspense, and surprising story. It is well worth reading. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Winters.

I love a shifter story and I so liked this one about a Dragon Named Deacon. They meet when Dixie leaves her small town in Mississippi and arrives in New Orleans. Down on.her luck she takes a dream job. Her new employer is Deacon he needs a Nanny for his little girl. She find out about his secret but it doesn't take away her attraction to him. Their is a uproar among the Dragons and someone wants Deacon reign over all the dragon clans. Can he protect the two people he loves or will.je have to sacrifice one to make peace.

It is not a badly written book but it felt a little off key. You have a young woman that lives a life she does not want and foresee her future ending up like her mother.
An older gentle man who is raising his child alone and looking for reliable child minder with live in privileges. He is keeping a secret from his hired help.
With this book you will have alcoholism, verbal abuse, drug use, jeaslousy, and a ambush. Who knew that being a nanny would be so dangerous.

Nice Read!
I enjoyed reading this book! Dixie, the virgin, is a 21 year old who saves herself just for THE right person, which I couldn't understand. SPOILER ALERT ***If don't want to have sex with anyone, why would you move in with a boyfriend that you really don't like?*** That part I really didn't understand! Other than that, there is a lot going on and some it didn't really explain how certain things came to be. I'm seeing a pattern in this Author's writing of the Nanny Shifter Series.

Dragon's Virgin Nanny was a hit for me. There is a good story about suffering and finding hope. Dixie is in a horrible situation and finally finds a way out and gets away from her father and boyfriend. When she finally is able to get away she finds solace with Deacon who is head of the Dragon family.
These two are a good couple and this is a good story!

So good
This has been my favorite of the series so far. Same plot lines of the previous stories but with some extra action scenes. I loved this story and the relationship between deacon Dixie and Maddy. It was just awesome. He was respectful and the complete opposite of the POS ex bf and drunk father. He let her make decisions on her own and appreciated her as a person. And Dixie was an innocent and genuine person who cared for deacon and Maddy. Idk what it was about this story I loved but I loved it.

Hot Dragon's
Don't know where this office is for Nannies but darn I will become a nanny for sure if my boss looks like Deacon!! Dixie needs a break and she needs to get away from her ex and her father. Coming to New Orleans is the best thing that happened to her. A job, a hot boss and a great little girl to care for....what more could she ask for. Not danger that's for sure..and trouble finds them. Good characters and good storyline.

Dragon baby daddy Older man younger women!
While the book was a fantastic read with danger and love the author seems to have forgotten that Deacon had told Dixie that Madeline mother was human like her, but when they were out to dinner, Deacon said that Madeline mom was from another 🐉 powerful family, oops I guess she Sky forgot that part.
But overall this story was well worth the read and I can't wait to see more of her work.

To Love And Protect
Great story of running from abused past to a new future. To just be able to breath, relax, and be herself with a loving child to take care of. Cute on how the child is the teacher in some ways. While a Dragon tries to keep all the clans together to make a better life. Look forward to the next story of this series because so far I haven't found a bad or boring one yet.

Cute but predictable.
So if you've read the first three books you know the formula. Naive girl becomes a nanny and is instantly attracted to boss, boss has a daughter and a dead ex. Naive girl finds out the hard way her boss is a shifter, they have sex, she gets pregnant the first time. There are bad shifters that want to take over the boss's business. He kills them, HEA. There are some differences to this one that made it enjoyable though.

A fresh start
Deacon & Dixie: He was the leader of LA dragons and needed a nanny to help take care of his daughter the peace between the clans was very thin. She was running from her abusive ex boyfriend and her father and the small town she came from, but she would need luck in this city.

Fast-paced Shifter Tale. Well written storyline with credible characters, that made you feel you were actually with them. Lots of action and intrigue made this a book that was difficult to put down. Not long after they met, the feelings between Dixie and Deacon got stronger the more they were together. I really enjoyed the final action scenes. Such a great read.

The intrigue and action made this a book that was hard to put down. The connection between Dixie and Deacon just kept getting stronger the more and more I read about them. The plot flowed smoothly and the characters were so well developped that I felt like each chapter felt more and more real. And that last scene? Whew!

Dragon’s Virgin Nanny is book four in the series Nanny Shifter Service by author Sky Winters. Storyline is intriguing and incredibly entertaining. Innocence and strength- a wonderful combination.

My opinion only. Judge for yourselves
I have read a few of these books and I find that they are all pretty much the same. Girl needs job , gets job , has sex with employer, gets pregnant, is in some kind of trouble ect. Just a different shifter and amount of shifters. So if your up to that then a good read.

I do like the dragon's in this series the most. The heroines repeatedly hiding their pregnancy & running back to what they were running away from and the heroes being blackmailed by kidnapping for a power struggle in the shifter clans is common to all the books. I do like the Nanny service concept as well as the shifter elements, I just prefer more uniqueness in the plot of the series I read.

This story is sweet with some danger thrown in. I liked the way that Dixie and Madeline got along together. Shopping I hate to shop. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
