Every though Colton is a big fat liar, he's still sweet. The reason his twin brother convinces him to keep up the charade is kind of sweet, but still he should've told her sooner. And you just know when she finds out she's gonna be real hot, and she rightfully is.
Overall, all works out as we know it will. So far this one is my favorite of this series.

Every time a Misadventures book is announced I get giddy with anticipation. They have always delivered in all the right ways! This is my fourth by this author and she just keeps getting better and better!
I was highly entertained from beginning to end and not only that, but I was also a bit anxious waiting on the correction of mistaken identity! It was exciting to see Zara and Colton getting closer and closer but at the same time I was on the edge trying to figure out how the conflict would play out! It was a fantastic read! Sexy, entertaining, humorous and fun! This was an absolute #win for me!

I really did love this book. Why did I cry towards the end when they made it thru his lie? I have no idea but I felt so bad for CJ. I wanted him to have the love his parents had and to feel worthy of it

I’ve read a few books from the Misadventures series and have to say that Misadventures with a Twin has been the best one I’ve read to date.
A high school reunion and a case a mistaken identity is what brings Zara Pierce and Colton Jensen together, the attraction between them is there in bucketloads when they strike up conversation at the reunion and thanks to some Dutch courage Zara makes the move on CJ as she calls him, her teenage/highschool crush, well it’s who she assumes he is only he’s not, confused? Well that’s exactly how Coltan felt when smack bang in the middle of getting down and dirty Zara calls him Corey, yup as in Corey his twin brother they guy she actually thinks he is. It soon becomes clear than when Zara early claimed to remember him and how she could tell him and is brother apart back then and now she was, well she was way off. What follows is a series of events which keep bringing the pair back together again and again, after initially trying to rectify the case of mistaken identity and failing Coltan finds himself going along with the guise of being Corey.
As time goes on the pair find themselves growing closer to one another and feelings start blossoming between them both, Colton knows he has to tell Zara the truth, will they both find happiness amidst the lies? Or will it be all over for pair? Read Misadventures with a Twin and find out if Colton gets the woman he’s fallen in love with, or is it all over before he himself has the chance of a forever love with her.

This is my first book written by this author and it was just such a good read. I have been waiting with bated breath for the release of this book and could hardly contain my excitement when I picked it up to read. Although it wasn't overly long, it held everything I love. The hero was such a sweetheart, even if there was a miscommunication between the hero and the heroine. I loved Colton. He had me right from the start of this book.
Zara was a strong heroine, she was definitely someone that Colt needed in his life. Their chemistry was hot, I am talking sizzling through my kindle. I had a laugh along with the characters and I actually did tear up for a few bits in the book, I couldn't help it... Men crying is my kryptonite and it made me love them all the more!!! I am interested to know what is going on with the gym owners though..This is very much my favorite book in the Misadventures line up so far, and I can't wait to read more.

It's not all fun and games when identical twins, Colton and Corey attend their 10 year high school reunion. In fact when nerdy girl Zara enjoys a drink with Colton at the bar and asks him to join her in her hotel room upstairs, Colton thinks the fun has just begun. But what happens when she calls out his name in the middle of the sparks flying? Will he own up and tell her he is not Corey? Or wil the charade need to continue in order to help out Zara and her busybody family? From the opening pages until the very last page this book not only had me laughing out loud but also had me hoping that Colton would be able to finally find a connection he so longed for. This was a great addition to a fabulous series.

This is the only book I've read where the fake dating part didn't work for me. The whole point is the mistaken identity, so adding fake dating on top of that seemed too much. I would have rather the mistaken identity be cleared up the night of so that the fake dating could flourish. She would have seen that her preconceived notions about Colton didn't hold water then the fake dating would have naturally turned real. This book is still enjoyable and worth the read. This is my second Elizabeth Hayley book: there is spice, but it's not super hot or what I consider "high caliber" spice.

So, imagine Colton’s surprise, when the beautiful woman next to him at their 10-year reunion lets him know she has always been able to tell the brothers apart and also, she has always had a huge crush on him. Zara Pierce isn’t wasting this moment with her high school crush and it doesn’t take long before they are up in her hotel room partaking in a steamy make out session. Only problem is the name Zara calls out in the moment is not Colton. It is Corey, his twin brother. Before it can get any worse Colton leaves without explaining why but it isn’t long before he crosses the line into assault by sleeping with Zara who has no idea he is not Corey. In fact, he insists she call him CJ. As their relationship progresses both find themselves falling in love and Colton falls deeper into his web of deceit. (In addition, Colton's brother finds out and encourages him to keep up the charade to save a financial transaction with their dad and his father admits at the end that he knew she thought he was the wrong brother. wtf.) In today’s #metoo environment it is surprising that we are still reading contemporary romances with questionable consent.

This was an exceptionally hot and emotional book. But that's what I've come to love about these Misadventures books. One minute you have a year in your eye, and then turn the page, and you burst out laughing.
I love how Elizabeth Hayley keeps past characters alive in present books.

Elizabeth has not disappointed! This is a fantastic addition to the Misadventures family. Colton and Zara are an incredible couple and they are amazing together! I hope that Corey gets him a book also.

I love reading Misadventures, and this one did not disappoint!

Unfortunately, it is with the wrong twin. Colton really doesn't remember Zara, but is not about to disregard their fiery chemistry, until she calls him his brother. Will Colton tell Zara the truth before she finds out herself? Will he lose her because of a lie that went too far? Which twin is Zara meant to be with? I very much enjoyed this book and look forward to reading some more Misadventures.

Gah!!! I loved this book!! You never know what might happen at your high school reunion as Zara finds out at hers. She had a huge crush on Corey (CJ as she calls him) in school. The night proves to be exciting when she gets the nerve up to approach him at the bar. The attraction/chemistry between these two are off the charts! They move their party to the hotel room and explode with heat and passion. Everything is amazing until Zara calls out Corey in the middle of everything. Caught off guard he realizes Zara thinks he's his twin brother. Colton decides not to say anything because he won't see her again but they continue to end up in each other's path for one reason or another. Colton's feelings grow stronger for Zara and he knows he must come clean and tell her his true identity. Will this change everything and suffer losing love or will their connection be so strong they live happily ever after? You will have to read this amazing story to find out!!
This book is so fun!! It's packed with excitement, heat, and passion. Elizabeth Hayley do not disappoint and this is one of my new faves in the Misadventures series!! I definitely recommend this story and guarentee you won't be disappointed!

School reunions can either be a great experience or an epic fail but in the case of Zara’s reunion she manages to combine both into one package. When they were in school she never told Corey how attracted she was to him so she is determined to make it a night to remember however the only problem is she approached the wrong twin.
It was a night to remember for Colton as well except he thought she wanted to be with him and not with his brother. He doesn’t tell her the truth but things are about to get complicated when fate throws them together and he caught between keeping up the pretense or telling her the truth especially once he develops feelings for her.
What a fun story this turned out to be as hot chemistry, witty banter and mistaken identity give you everything you could ask for and more.

Misadventures with a Twin is a stand-alone book in the Misadventures series by Elizabeth Hayley. The main characters are Colton and Zara. The blurb covers up what is going on in the story pretty well, so if you don't like what you read there than don't read the book. Colton is lying to Zara about who he is and honestly, up to a point, I was on his side. My support started to lessen as I was turning the pages, but I couldn't be at him. Zara was right to react like she did and she was right to dislike him in high school. From what I read, he was not one of the best people to have around.
For a book that belongs in the Misadventures series, this one is rather tame. It's not bad though. I liked the romance and the main characters and the book was easy to read.

A fun, short story by this writing duo. I felt this was an engaging, light-hearted story, with great secondary characters, fast plot, and real chemistry between the leads.
Colton and his identical twin brother Corey was attending their 10th year high school reunion. At the bar, Colton chats with a gorgeous blonde (Zara) whom he doesn’t remember but she thinks he’s Corey.
I’m not a fan of lying as a plot device, but I was able to overcome it because I read it as mistaken identity. This couple had chemistry. I loved their backstory and the warmth of their families. There was sex but it wasn’t graphic or too long. I love books with a plot and the romance blends into the story.

I liked this book but unfortunately, I didn't love it. The book begins when we meet Colton and Corey identical twins attending their ten year high school reunion. Colton grows bored of listening to others from his class talk about their children and families now and since he really has no interest he finds himself at the bar and he meets Zara. Nobody can tell the twins apart they always have been called CJ by their classmates but Zara claims she could always tell and it makes Colton at ease having someone that actually doesn't need him to explain who he is but events occur that even he wasn't prepared for. The story had a good flow but some things took almost the whole book to be discovered and left the rest kinda rushed to be completed. The epilogue was nicely done and I enjoyed it. Overall, the book was good and enjoyable.

I absolutely loved this book! I laughed and cried and rooted for Zara (love that name) and CJ/Colton. Really wanted them to be a couple. I loved the chemistry when they weren't trying. Another great book by Elizabeth and Hayley. They never disappoint! Fills all the blanks for a great love story. Cn't wait to read what they have in store for us next.

Another book in the Misadventures serie. This time it's another Misadventure written by duo Elizabeth Hayley. Misadventures With a Twin is about Zara who decides to finally speak to her high school crush Corey on their 10 year reunion. But she speaks to Colton. His twin. The one she didn't like when they were in high school. But when Colton realizes this it's too late to take what happened back.

All this happens and more, Can Colton & Corey (twins) make Zara understand that white lies and heartache could be turned around or will she never forgive one of them? This book is a great read and makes you root for the underdog and learn that family is everything even if you may not see it. Grab your copy today

I really love this series and I'm always looking forward to reading yet another one. This one definitely didn't disappoint. It was a short but fun page-turner. Can't wait to see how the next one compares.

This is yet another amazing read by Elizabeth Haley!! I laughed and cried! Definitely super hot and also emotional! Amazing love story! You cant go wrong grabbing a Misadventures or a book by Elizabeth Haley!! I might have even shed a few tears on this one!

This is a such a fun book. I enjoyed Colton and Zara's story and I look forward to more of Elizabeth Hayley's books.

There were some cute moments sprinkled throughout, but between the whole premise being based on a lie and a bad trans joke towards the end, I ended up skimming through chapters.

Colton and Corey pretty much identical twin brothers attend their high school reunion. Colton runs into an old classmate Zara. Unfortunately Zara hated him in high school and had a crush on his brother Corey. Colton really believed that she knew that she was Colton. Until later on that night when he realizes that she believes that he is Corey. Now the game begins.
The brothers learn that their dad is selling the diner which has been in their family forever. It was owned by their mother and father before their mother passed away. The brothers don't want him to sell it but understand that he needs too. But once they find out who he is thinking about selling it to makes this storyline even more interesting. Colton has to play the part of the understanding boyfriend for a while but the thing is he is actually enjoying spending time with Zara. Once he tells her the truth will he end up losing her? I absolutely loved the chemistry and banter between these two. This was a very interesting book to dive into. I loved the storyline and the characters. The banter between the brothers had me rolling with laughter at times. Very interesting to see what happens between Colton and Zara once he tells her the truth. I loved it and highly recommend reading it. Another great addition to the misadventures series.
