With a Hitch starts off where the delicious Ditched leaves off. (Don’t worry, it’s a stand-alone, no cliffy, I’m just saying for maximum enjoyment pick up Ditched too.) But Dax and Darcy’s story is in some ways more gentle, and in other ways oh-so-much more intense.

Dax is just a good guy. Not boring. GOOD. He’s the kind of guy who treats his family right. People right. The heroine right. He’s the kind of guy you actually want to have in your life, sex-swing and all. (You have to read it...)

And Darcy? Darcy needs a hug. Or...a guy like Dax who is the book boyfriend version of a hug. She’s had so much crap thrown at her that we can be proud of how far she’s come, and yet still see how far she has to go.

And that’s the journey of the book. Patient, loving man. Broken woman. Hearts made whole.

I’m pretty sure books like With a Hitch are the reason we read romance: to know that everyone—even someone with as tough a background as Darcy—can find true love.

That’s not to say that Dax is perfect. He’s had his own bad past experiences based on his race and position—yummy NFL, but that also leads to women not wanting anything deep—that affect his views on relationships in general and with someone like Darcy.

With humor and beautiful writing, swoony scenes and heartache, With a Hitch is the perfect read.

4 1/2 stars. First lets mention that cover!!! HOT HOT HOT
If only Dax Kendrick were real. He is the quintessential book boyfriend. And while he does have a tiny bit of baggage, he is absolutely swoon worthy. Poor Darcy has a trunk full. She thinks that her past defines her and she doesn't want, need or deserve a HEA. These two were killing me with the slow burn!!! They were both so clueless to their true feelings. I will admit to being a bit aggravated that the story was moving along with them just friends. But as I kept reading, I realized that it was needed. They need to become best friends and build on that trust. With her usual humor and awesome secondary characters (I'm talking about you, Tank, Myers and Watson!) RC Boldt adds another great romantic story to this wonderful sports series.

REVIEW: 3.5-4 Stars

I want to get this off my chest: I am not a sweet romance reader and I enjoy my men burly and alpha, confident and strong. Given the territory we were working with in RC Boldt's newest book, With A Hitch, I was assuming this was the case. It was not. Hear me out!! I mean, he's a very successful NFL player. He's gonna be cocky and self confident. Have some grrrr tendencies.....right? RIGHT!!? Clearly, I'm the idiot because I obviously fell in love with a self assured, self made man. One that has his priorities in the right order and knows how to love a woman well, but also respect her too. And my gosh, Dax is delicious. But he's ALL the man needed in this book. And RC gave me yet another one to swoon over. I seriously just figured he was going to be a cocky jerk and Darcy was going to have her hands full. Well, her hands were full - but for all the right reasons and with all the right MAN. And whatta man he was. He had charisma and loyalty. He was down to earth and real. I fell in love HARD.

I walked into this book knowing that I love RC's stories. Her men, and even the strength in her women, are always admirable and easily loved, but I was leery about Darcy's profession. Having RC break it down for me and explain it, because that's what she does with her brand of ease within her writing and storytelling, she allowed me to fall in love and root Darcy on. I already knew I loved Dax from Ditched, so that was an easy win for me. But getting used to and being ok with a matchmaking service was a little odd for me. Yes, I totally know those services are out there...I just find them different.

Boldt showcased the delicate line of trust and vulnerability in intimacy exceptionally well between Dax and Darcy. Asking and giving, taking and receiving, desire and need. I absolutely loved that side of their relationship, because as strong as each character was, they were very....vulnerable. I loved Dax's tenderness and soft spoken side when he knew there was a problem that needed to be sussed out. I loved Darcy's stubbornness and strength when she felt susceptible, and I loved that Dax knew to talk her through things. Their relationship started out as friends, but it evolved into so much more. This was showcased brilliantly. A lot of laughs, some sigh inducing moments, and some deep breaths were had. Dax is the epitome of perfection, maybe even too perfect, but perfect nonetheless.

"Because Dax Kendrick single-handedly robs me of breath."

HIS FAMILY CRACKS ME UP!! I was laughing so hard when he was at home, talking with his family. Totally down to earth, normal family ribbing and joking. I am in love with them!!! It put into perspective who Dax truly was and how he came to be who he was, and it was just perfect. I would love to request Ava's story next, kthxbye. And Tank. And Watson. And and and....

Two things that bothered me, but not to the point of disliking the book.

Darcy was very back and forth - like, heavily. She liked him. There was NO doubt in my mind that she did. But she fought it, but gave in - like most level headed women in her shoes would, and yet she still questioned it after he admitted he wanted more. He. Wanted. More. Normally the back and forth doesn't bug me, but for some reason this one did. I am fairly certain it was because she was such a professional and her times of weakness centered around Dax and how sweet he was. I'll admit he made me weak in the knees too. But then after getting irritated about Darcy's wavering, I would stop and tell myself, "Self, there is more to this than surface level fear." She was a professional. She didn't want that stigma of a dating a client. So, of course I could understand why Darcy was very nervous about giving in to a love she ultimately couldn't deny. A few times I wanted to scream COMMUNICATE!! It was rough in a couple spots, but there was always a valid variable trying to mess with their flow....and it was usually all in her head.

The length of this book was almost too long. There was a lot of repetition from one chapter/POV to the next. What book nerd complains of a book that's too long? That's almost like an oxymoron, right? I think, for me, this one felt more wordy than necessary simply because of the repetitiveness of some of the chapter ends/beginnings/crossovers. Was it bad? No. Not at all. It was just loooong in a few parts. But then I sit back and tell myself, "Self, this was necessary for the setup and understanding of how each character handled their thought processes." And so I just needed to read it as it came.

I cannot state it enough that this was a great book!! It wasn't bad at all, but those two things bothered me. In the entire scheme of things, RC Boldt is brilliant with her comedy, and she is very enticing with her words. She can write me a love story that is smile inducing and heart pounding. She's an author I will always make time for on my schedule because she has always given me a story of love and overcoming anything to have that love come to fruition. I got caught up in this storyline very easily and really, really enjoyed it. I know there are some stories I am anticipating coming out of/spinning off of this one and I, for one, cannot wait to read them.

Sometimes I like a predictable HEA trope. It generally is an easy read with a dreamy ending. Sometimes that trope goes above and beyond. With A Hitch went above and beyond and the some. While there was the expected angst and swoon worth moments, they were accompanied by plenty of laugh out loud moments that were unpredictable and so welcome.

Dax is a genuinely good guy and his family are so wonderful. They are the family that everyone would enjoy. Loving, loyal, warm and funny.

Darcy has not had that wonderful family unit. Her only family is her foster sister, or quiet simply, her sister. She is carrying a lot of emotional baggage. She has no faith in herself and does not see herself as others do.

When Dax dubiously agrees to go to Darcy and have her company find him the ‘perfect match’ he is dubious, especially as he has history with Darcy.

I loved that this wasn’t an instant love story, and without giving anything more away, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

I really wish that I had read Ditched first. This works fine as a standalone, but it was so good. I feel like I missed out.

RC Boldt has created a wealth of wonderful characters and the flow of the story was perfect for me.

Thank you to RC Boldt and Social Butterfly PR, for gifting me a review copy of With A Hitch. The gifting of this book did not influence this review.

Heads up y'all: R.C. Boldt has just delivered a perfect hero.

No lie, I'm so crazy head-over-heels in love with Dax Kendrick, I don't even fully know how to put it into words. He's incredibly sensitive and domesticated while also somehow also unquestionably virile and masculine. He was the perfect balance of tender sweetness, blazing heat, and growly alpha. He was everything and that's only part of what makes this story so special.

Darcy is pretty special in her own right. She's a complicated heroine who manages to be strong, smart, and kind even though she really has every reason not to be. There are some heavy, emotional issues touched on in Darcy's storyline and I felt like they were handled with respectful, careful attention, and in a way that caused me to wrap my heart around her even more completely. Darcy was someone I felt like I could relate to, even though we are nothing alike, which I think is some kind of amazing feat. It was honestly easy to hop right on board the romance train when I loved each character almost as much as they inevitably loved each other..

It also helped that this was a true friends-to-lovers (I mean for them, I was pretty much in love at first sight) which means the burn was sweet and slow and absolutely delicious. I loved the time I got to spend with Dax and Darcy as they got to know each other, and I loved being along for the ride as their feelings evolved. Their chemistry was off the charts, and the heat between them was...fire. It was fire. Scorching, sensual, sexy fire. And the whole thing combined to make this wonderfully perfect package.

No good sports romance is complete without a strong bromance. The camaraderie and banter among teammates is one of the best parts of any given sports romance, and Ms. Boldt got that just right too. My gosh how I loved Dax's teammates. They delivered so many laugh-out-loud moments, heartfelt moments, and moments that just brought the whole story together. This was a delightful extra layer and I am beyond excited to know that there are more of these guys in my future.

In case there was still any question? I just loved it. I loved the smart, engaging writing. I loved the captivating storytelling. I loved the interesting, multi-dimensional, and easy-to-love characters. I loved the romance. No, I adored the romance and all the ways it caused my heart to ache, flutter, and fill with happiness. With a Hitch was an easy five stars for me and I absolutely cannot wait for more! ~ Shelly, 5 Stars

After having read The Good Samaritan I assumed this book would not disappoint me. And indeed, it did not!

Leaving aside if I had read a similar storyline or predicted the plot to some degree, it was so wonderfully written that I kept reading page after page. The characters were so lovable, amazingly developed through their actions and dialogues.

Slow burn, with funny moments and lines, serious topics handled with respect and the small drama towards the end had the appropriate dosage.
I am looking forward to reading the stories of the other secondary characters. 😍

I literally just listened to a book this week where they hired a match maker and they feel in love with said match maker. (Not my favorite kind of story line… BUT)

The way this one was done was kinda perfect. You see we get to know both the characters as they become friends. It felt more of a friends to lover than an a match maker. Or at least it did for me.

I also really liked that just because one of the characters has a sad past it wasn’t the only thing about that character. We get to know more than just that. I very much liked that we got to know who they are now and yes their past shaped them but it wasn’t the only thing about them.

The drama at the end was interesting, it was drama but it was more than just drama for the sake of a climax. It made the story better. Love when authors give us a point to it all.

Overall I am very happy I picked this book up, and now that I know Ditched is the book before I will check it out too. No you don't have to read them in order but I bet it would have made sense but say la vee.

Great narration, this is why I actually picked the book up because I like both of these narrators and figured it would be a good time listen. I am happy that turned out to be true.

A surprisingly good friends to lovers romance from a new to me author.

The Good, The Bad, and Everything Else: Being so character driven it's not surprising how I was completely sucked in by Dax. He is everything a book boyfriend could be. When Darcy has menstrual cramps he baked her turmeric muffins and went over to her house to watch chick flicks with her. He started a fundraiser for Gainesville Florida after a natural disaster that raised millions which he matched. Oh did I mention he's a hawt football player with a multimillion dollar contract and endorsement deals? Book Boyfriend people....Book Boyfriend. Darcy was a little harder to like because she's ruled by fear when it comes to accepting a relationship with Dax. Yet.... she proved herself by trying to protect him from harm showing she really did care for him. She's driven and a smart business woman who came from nothing to make something of herself. I ended up liking her more than I thought I would. The secondary characters were notable and I really need to read more about them especially his teammate Kyler.

The plot is fairly simple as far as the friends to lovers part goes but it did add an added layer when a nefarious character is introduced and ultimately a #MeToo additional storyline came into play. I couldn't be more please with this. I thought it was tastefully done even if it was wrapped up with the best possible outcome, which isn't always reality....thus the reason for the movement and it's importance. Overall, despite the sunshine and rainbows outcome of the storyline I am happy to have it included in a book that could have just been all fluff.

Towards the middle of the book begins the sexy times (remember it's friends to lovers and Boldt did a great job of creating the foundation for an amazing and believable friendship.) The steamy parts were pretty hot and I'd go as far as to say almost erotica in nature (minus all the over the top 50 Shades fetish sex.) Darcy and Dax have great chemistry despite both stating neither one is their typical type.

The audio was done well and the dual narration of JF Harding and Jennifer Mack helped make Dax and Darcy come alive. Both narrators are new to me and I'd absolutely listen to another book by either one or both again.

In a Nutshell: I picked this book up to satisfy a reading challenge I'm doing. These random books can be hit or miss and I'm happy this was an absolute hit for me. I'm 100% going to read more by this author. Just an FYI While this book is touted as a standalone there is a book written prior to this one that involves Darcy's sister and one of Dax's ex-teammates.

With a Hitch is an example of why romance is to blame for my single status. We can ignore all my flaws and annoyances and focus solely upon how With a Hitch gives us a unicorn of a hero. Dax is perfect, unbelievably wonderful in every way, and no person will ever be able to hold a candle to him. Therefore, I would like to offer R.C. Boldt my thanks. Thank you for creating a hero who has ruined men for me, I shall be happily returning to Dax on a regular basis to get my fix.

With a Hitch follows on from Ditched, although you do not need to read Ditched to understand With a Hitch. At first, I feared such would be the case. However, it quickly became apparent With a Hitch works perfectly fine as a standalone story. I will be reading Ditched in the future – I have in on my Kindle, ready for me to dive into – but this is not due to a lack of understanding. My desire to read Ditched is due to wanting more, more of the world and the characters. I know there is another book coming with one of the characters I came to love throughout With a Hitch, and I plan to use Ditched to tide me over until then.

Although the first couple of chapters did not suck me in completely, once the story got going I found myself unable to put With a Hitch down. I happily devoured it in a single sitting, addicted to everything that was playing out. The characters were wonderful, the development of the story was great, there was plenty of emotion throughout, there was humour to be had, and so much more. I was hooked on every possible level and loved every minute of the story.

Not only did I find myself the perfect man in Dax, but I also found myself the perfect friend in Tank. I have my fingers crossed he gets a book in the future, along with many of the other characters, as I fell in love with everyone and everything about With a Hitch and cannot wait for more.

There is no doubt about it, R.C. Boldt created a winner here.

I loved Ditched and couldn’t wait to see who was going to be up next to get their HEA because it was filled with some pretty amazing characters, so when it was announced that Dax ~ who just so happened to be one of my favs ~ was up next to get his HEA, and it was Darcy who was going to be his partner, I was all kinds of excited and I have to say it was one hell of a ride. The slow burn in this one is all kinds of real, but it was tempered by all kinds of goodness: Sweet, smexy, laugh out loud funny and even some ovary exploding moments along with a good dose of drama that kept things interesting and kept me turning the pages to see how everything would play out in the end.

I loved Dax going in and this book just made me absolutely adore the man. If you want to know what a real good man is, it’s Dax. This man is has that alpha protective thing going on when it comes to those he cares about, but doesn’t go overboard ~ even when he really, REALLY wants to. He’s sweet, compassionate, charming and has the patience of a saint. Darcy is a force. She hasn’t had the easiest life, but has built herself a nice little empire that she is insanely passionate about. She’s sweet, sassy and though her heart is a little bruised and walled off, she gives her all to those she cares about.

Darcy and Dax’s journey to their HEA was all kinds of fun, but the slow burn almost killed me. Now, don’t get me wrong I LOVE a good slow burn romance, but this one may take the cake for me. The upside to this is that I loved watching them become friends and truly getting to know the other, true part of this is because of the whole matchmaker thing going on, but it became more. So. Much. More. The downside was that I knew, along with everyone else who was around thing, that they were really good together and they just didn’t see it, so the need to reach out and rip those blinders off was real. The sinkhole in their road was definitely frustrating, but I loved how things worked out for them in the end.

I really enjoyed Darcy and Dax’s journey, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that while I love a good slow burn romance, there were times that the slow burn was a little too slow for me. I totally understood the build up and why those little hairpin turns were in there, but there were moments. Outside of the pacing, though, it was all good. There are some pretty heavy topics that come up, but are handled well and then there are the supporting cast of characters. I loved catching up with Beck and Ivy, and I still adore Tank. He absolutely killed me in the best of ways and that man NEEDS his own HEA. As for the newer characters Dax’s family was so awesome, I seriously want to hang out with them, but the ones who peaked my interest the most were Ava and Kyler and I’m crossing my toes that they get their own HEA’s because they definitely deserve their own.

I can’t get enough of this group of characters!!

With a Hitch focuses on Darcy Cole and Dax Kendrick. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. While it was clear there was an attraction, with Darcy being hired to match Dax with his potential HEA, things started off slowly. This aspect definitely added its own tension to the story. As these two get closer and the relationship grew, I was getting giddy. I loved them both individually and wanted to see them together. Just when you think things are coming together, Boldt throws in some twists I wasn’t expecting. I was frantic to find out how their story would play out. I absolutely loved With a Hitch and I can’t wait for the next book!!

When I finished reading Ditched, I was very curious about Dax and his story. Dax just seemed like a good man, the one every girl is looking for. I had no idea how right I was…

With a Hitch is the story of Dax and Darcy, a heartwarming story of two people, each with their own trials and tribulations, that come together in the most beautiful relationship I’ve read in a long time. Dax was so gentle and loving with Darcy, he has to be the number one book boyfriend ever! Darcy was amazing in her own way as well, as complicated as she was, she is a strong and smart woman. The emotional issues were handled amazing well by the author and made me love the story between Dax and Darcy even more!

With a Hitch is undoubtedly one of my favorites from RC Boldt and I highly suggest grabbing a copy!

I really loved the H in this one. He was like the unicorn of Heroes. I loved his relationship with his family, and how he treated his mother, it was swoon worthy (An I never swoon, I never even use the word swoon!). I liked the h but she got on my nerves a little bit with all her pushing away, although I can understand her reasons. However when you find a guy like the one in this book, she should have known there’s no reason or justification for pushing him away. The guy was absolutely devoted to her!!
My first from this author, but I’ll read more from her for sure.

It’s been a few years since I’ve read an R.C. Boldt book, but clearly, I have been missing out! This book was sooooo good!! It’s a slow burn, friends to lovers sports romance. This is a standalone although you may want to read Ditched before this because Darcy is Ivy’s sister, and Dax is Becket’s best friend. I haven’t read it and I’m definitely going to go back to it. Boldt did interweave a couple past encounters in between present scenes of the two main characters so we know how they met, but it flowed perfectly. I did have a little trouble with the pacing of this story. It was super slow burn which I know was what these characters needed, but I was definitely frustrated with how long it actually took for them to get together.

Ladies, better clear some room at the top of your book boyfriends’ list, because Dax is about to shoot straight to the top! He is your ultimate book boyfriend; a really great guy, easy to love and almost too good to be true. He loved his family and friends fiercely. I totally swooned for him throughout the entire story. Darcy was a little harder to get a read on. She was very tight lipped but you know she has a good heart and really wants to help people.

If you’re looking for a slow burn, friends to lovers sports romance with the ultimate book boyfriend, definitely pick this one up!

I struggled with this book. There were points in which it seemed like it was coming together, but overall I couldn't relate to the characters and struggled with finding them authentic and relatable, especially some of the things they said and some of their reactions.

**4-4.5 stars** With a Hitch is another winner from RC Boldt! I really enjoyed this slow burn, friends-to-lovers story. Dax and Darcy are great together, both as friends and lovers. I loved the journey to their HEA. It wasn’t a race to the end zone, which I liked. But boy can these two heat things up! *fans self* Talk about great chemistry! Dax is a really good man (loved him!) and the perfect match for Darcy. A very fun, sexy & sweet story that I highly recommend!

Eek! I can't help but be excited about With a Hitch by RC Boldt! I have a serious obsession with hilarious books and RC Boldt is hilarious! She makes me literally laugh out loud and I know lol is said a lot but I don't really think people do it as often. Don't you think we'd be laughing all the time? But, and this is a pretty big BUT, RC Boldt's writing and humor is different than other authors. Somehow Mrs. Boldt is able to give us a fall outta your seat laughing mixed with real emotion. She weaves her words with love... with a deepness that most RomComs/Sports Romance does not possess or can't even accomplish.

It's a gift.

You either have it, or you don't.

RC Boldt is rockin it!

Now, I did laugh... a lot. But this book is not her Blue Balls or Clam Jam type of funny. With A Hitch is packed with high impact emotions. Boldt had my feelings bouncing all over the table... I felt like a beer pong at a frat party. I felt so much confliction and emotions from this story that at times it's easy to forget how easily this author can make me smile since she also reaches in and rips my heart out.

Dax and Darcy are magnetic. They have so much baggage between the two of them. I really enjoyed the slow burn and the lovely way they built a real solid friendship. It’s something else that makes RC Boldts story even more relatable and more realistic. Boldt's creativity and storytelling could keep me entranced for days! Dax is a character that I lost myself in... we might all lose yourself in his swoony ways. He really packs a punch in With a Hitch!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Great friends to lovers story that was a slow burn but you’ll clearly enjoy. Darcy worked as a matchmaker and was helping Dax find is perfect match. Dax used her because of her reputation and also because he was a professional NFL player and he didn’t want some woman using him for his fame and money. But as time passed he realized he didn’t want any of the women Darcy tried setting him up with, he wanted his independent friend. Darcy was started to have feelings also but she didn’t want to jeopardize their friendship. She danced around it until it was no longer inevitable and they combusted. They were so good for each other. She had second thoughts about everything because of her childhood and he had slightly also because he was biracial. There was a small oh oh moment but of course they came out on top. This oh oh moment touched an issue that is going on right now in real life and it opened up your eyes to how people abuse their power.

I enjoyed catching up with Beckett and Ivy but I’m highly intrigued by Kyler. I’m patiently waiting for his story.

This book was a bit long, but that’s okay because this slow-burn romance was perfect. The slow-burn romance gets to me every time. Loved Darcy and Dax! Their friends to lovers romance was filled with swoons and kindness. Both main characters were the type of people that you really wanted to call your friends. Both were beautiful people inside and out. Darcy didn’t have an impressive background. In fact, for the most part, it was down right torturous until she met foster sister, Ivy. And, Dax comes from a loving and supportive family. The two couldn’t be more different. But, it’s the loyal friendship that these two develop that leads them to their passionate and loving romance. R.C. Boldt writes with confidence and awe-aspiring devotion to their love story. I was so sad finishing Darcy and Dax’s romance. Such a fantastic epilogue, though. I loved knowing that they were headed to forever together! Looking forward to reading Kyler’s story when it’s released sometime this fall.

Ditched got my attention. With a Hitch captured my heart. I fell hard for Ivy and Becket and knew that I had to have more. Darcy and Dax are a continuation of my love affair with the amazingly talented RC Boldt. With a Hitch has everything from friendships to family and sex appeal. Darcy, Ivy, Dax and Becket are a new kind of family. Their proof that family is not always made by the blood shared, but by the bond love builds. History, life and emotion are at the heart of this family. I love that. When it comes to love, life has not always been kind to this group, so it's nice to know someone has your back. Becket and Ivy found their happy ending. Will Darcy and Dax be next in line?

LOVED this so much! I mean, Dax...swoon! (I really want to know if turmeric muffins are thing and where I can get a hot guy to make me some?) This friends-to-lovers story had all of the things I love in a romance - a swoon-worthy hero, a strong heroine and chemistry that is off the charts!

4.5 Swoon Worthy stars! A fantastic first read by this new to me author. I absolutely loved Dax! Sexy, confident and so charming you can’t help but fall for him. Darcy a perfect match, strong yet still vulnerable and selfless. Their banter and chemistry is scorching hot in this friends to lovers story. I was hooked from the get go and didn’t want to put it down. A must read!

Can we all have a man like Dax in our life????

Dax Kendrick is swoony, strong and a mans-man...when he wants something, he is all in! He had a goal of what he wants....enter Darcy Cole. Darcy, oh how my heart ached for her. We were given an introduction to Darcy in Ditched (I’ve been anxious to find out more about Darcy).

When I read my first book from Ms. Boldt I had this feeling that I had just found an author that I wanted more from; so, like any good reader, I binged everything she had written and now, I snatch up every new release.

With a Hitch is a beautiful story not just about the romance between a man and woman, but it’s about the story of a man who knows there is more in life than just “the game” and a woman who has been damaged by her past and decide to not let that past define her future.

Thank you Ms. Boldt for another book that I will be adding to my shelf but also for giving me my no. 1 BBF!!!!

Dax is seriously one amazing book boyfriend! He loves his family fiercely, takes care of those he loves and is honest to his core! He just wants to find someone who can love all the things that make him....well him! He’s in a business where your money means more then who you are as a person!! His only draw back is he picks the women who are “safe” and that’s both allowing him to find the woman who deserves his love!

Darcy is an independent woman who has learned to trust only a few select people! Her circle is small, it’s seriously two people, but she loves those who are close very fiercely and protectively! She keeps her emotions bottled and only focuses on her business and helping those around her find the love they deserve, if only she can bring her guard down then she’d realize she’s starting love in the face!!

I loved these two characters so much and I love Boldt’s ability to tackle tough topics! She brings so much to light with her stories and this book like many others before are truly inspirational and will stay
With me for years to come!

A simple connection. That’s all it takes to begin something wonderful. But do you act on it or fight it, afraid to take that chance?

Dax Kendrick exudes sex appeal but there’s more to him than that. He’s a kind, gentle soul. The kind of man that may have a powerful build, but doesn’t want that to be his calling card. He’s near perfect and definitely made me swoon.

Darcy Cole has worked hard to be the success that she is. But just like Dax, she is more than her tough, business-like exterior. She loves fiercely and gives trust to those she holds dear.

The contrasts and similarities worked well. I loved they way they got to know one another. Their conversations and interactions were fun and sexy. It’s a part of what I’ve come to expect and enjoy with RC Boldt’s stories.

With A Hitch is a romance with range. It has a bromance, loving family relationships and hilarious dialogue. It was a delightful read.

This book was an experience

This story that RC Boldt brought to my kindle was so much more than just words.

In the beginning I was wrapped in the friendship unsure if our main characters would even want to be together, they seemed so adamant an even from their shared past (the 1st meet) hadn't matter, I finally understood for this book to have the impact it had they had to build a strong bond, silly interactions, heartbreaking past made this couple step out of just a contemporary romance // sports romance but a real life someone has lived a similar situation.

It's a giving this is a work of fiction and our Hero is literal Perfection, however the events to the end of the book made this story earn all its stars as it will aid somebody and teach others to listen. It turned into a soap box for survivors by giving our heroine a reminder that every Voice has a  strength to be heard by all.

There is the nice guy... and then there is the guy who bakes turmeric muffins when you are on your period type... I draw the line at that guy, that guy is not for me.
