Aquí se ha desbordado el caos al 100% y no sé cómo va a finalizar quedando solamente tres tomos para el desenlace.
Ya no hay lugar para dividir el mundo en base al odio estúpido que no genera nada productivo en ninguno de ellos. La amenaza clara y directa es Eren Jaeger y el retumbar, con su "estupenda" idea de implementar un genocidio de grandes proporciones. El resto de personajes se va a jugar la vida por un futuro mejor en el que seguramente muchos no saldrán vivos para contarlo.

ahh that was so good!! It feels like most of the loose ends from the previous arcs have been taken care of now and this volume estabilished which side of the war I should be rooting for. This volume also completely changed my thoughts on some of the characters. I think I'm starting to actually like Armin now and Gabi isn't an annoying brat anymore. I don't want this series to end. I've been reading it on and off since I was 14, but I'll be finished with it in the next month. 3

2021 reread:
Been rereading most of the chapters from chapter 106 or 108 to freshen up my memory alongside the anime which have been fun. Also not having to read one chapter a month keeps me more anchored in the story so this time around I can actually keep track on everything.

The negative with reading a chapter a month (or less when I don't have time to keep up) is that I start to lose the plot and not sure what's going on anymore. But we're gonna go save the world now and stuff.

Man, the amount of hurt, pain and hopelessness in this volume is almost cloying, at least we can count with a sliver of hope at the end of the storm that maybe things are gonna start going our way for once.
Seeing all my babies suffering hurts me so much. But, hey, it's in our darkest times that we get to get stronger and really see who we are.
Though this volume was slower plot-wise all the wonderful character development and exploration was plain awesome. Getting to see how all of this affects them and what they do with it just feels my heart with warmth and faith in them.
With the stakes being at an all-time high, I love what this final arc is shaping out to be. We needed to go out with a bang in order to make justice to a manga that has been filled to the brim with them and this feels appropriate.

Morality of war and collision of world views in this volume. Eren seems to fully lost his way, but the real question posed is if humanity hadn’t lost its way long ago as well

The route this story is taking very much feels like the Zero requiem of Code Geass. Amazing how well the author conjures new characters, I need Floch to die in some kind of gruesome manner to be satisfied.

Ok yes I cried for a second there I thought my baby Armin was about to die. ALSO, LEVI AND HANJI ARE ALIVE THANK THE GODS. SO NOW EVERYONE HAS TURNED ON EREN DOES-DOES THAT MEAN THEY'LL KILL HIM IF HE TRIES TO STOP THEM.....I'm not ok. Why can't this be a never-ending series like Naruto

The ending is near.
Pictures were as good as always and I also appreciated to get once in a while a few pages with just the images and no text, looks really neat.
The action wasn't that strong for this part of the series, but I'm sure it will get higher soon enough.

This is one of my favourite animes and series of all time. It's also one of the highly acclaimed anime series ever so if you don't even know about Attack on Titan at this point... you are missing out. I'm updated with the manga since it's still ongoing but it is going to be ending very soon. I do think you should watch the series first before reading the manga :)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! Especially if you are into fantasy with high paced action sequences, surprising twists, and mystery.
plot→ It's basically set in this world wherein the last of the human race are forced to live behind this circular walled city called Paradis because titans who devour humans suddenly started appearing on Earth. The story begins when, after 300 years I think... or is it 30??, a titan suddenly breaks into the walled city. The story revolves around Eren (and friends) who has always dreamed of being part of the Survey Corps as they were previously regarded as the heroes of the city. However, they have since been looked down on by the residents because their expeditions outside the walls in the past years have always resulted in mass slaughter.
There are 3 branches in the city's military body: the Survey Corps, the Garrison, and the Military Police Brigade. Survey Corps go outside the wall to scout areas for expansion and most of the skilled ODM (this is the gear that they use to kill the titans) users are in this branch since they fight the titans most frequently. Garrison patrol the walls of the city and are in charge of protecting the walls from titan invasions. Military Police Brigade stay in the innermost city to protect the royal family and whoever else is rich and powerful enough to live there. There is also a side branch that takes care of the new recruits and trains them before they are placed in the actual military body.
I didn't know this had a military thing going on and to be honest it's one of favourite sub themes in fantasy so that was a pleasant for me.
One of the interesting sociopolitical points in this series is that the city itself is subdivided into 3 walls: Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. The poorest in the city are forced to live on the outermost wall since they are the ones that titans would most likely get to first in case the city is breached. The richest are in Wall Sina like the royal family. This raised a lot of points to think about especially when the wall gets breached and they need to move towards the inner parts of the city.
I'm not going to go too much else in depth because it is partly a mystery series but one of the main things that made this series standout to me is the looming idea that they don't really know who the enemy is. Honestly, this series raises a lot of political issues and discussions that I like to talk about with other people who have also read/watched it. Another aspect that I like here, is what is really considered good or bad, if there even is such a thing in a person's motives. You'll see this more on the later sides of the series because the first part is more on action scenes and build up since it's meant to pull you into the world. But the later arcs just add up to it and make it seriously one of the most phenomenal stories I have come across.
If you haven't realized: I love this series TO DEATHHH.
I consider this a must watch and must read for basically everyone who just wants a good story with characters that you won't get tired of. The manga art does get better throughout the series. I also just want you guys to meet my man Levi basically hehe <3 I'm kidding but seriously... this series has one of the best plots and storytellings especially it's lore side. I was gasping at every plot twist and this is coming from a person who usually ends up guessing what happens in the plot.

در واقع دو ستاره اون ستاره اضافی برای نکتههای ریز قشنگیه که همیشه تو اتک پیدا میشه.
من این وقایع رامبلینگ به بعد رو دوست ندارم. خیلی زیادی شوننه که با قدرت دوستی و اتحاد میشه هر کاری کرد. این کنار گذاشتن نفرتهای عمیق اینقدر ساده رو خیلی برنمیتابم. یعنی وقتی تو چهار سال به زیک اعتماد نکردین وقتی تنها چارهاتون بوده این یهویی با راینر و گبی که اون همه از نزدیکاتونو مستقیم پخ پخ کردن واقعا غیرمنطقی و فورس شدهاست هرچقدر هم تو موقعیت ناچاری باشن و واریورهام نتونن کار خاصی بکنن جز کمک و تازه در برابر ارنی که میتونه مستقیم رو جسم و حافظهاشون اثر بذاره.
این جلد به نظرم شروع فاصله گرفتن ایسایاما از دنیایی که تا اینجا ساخته برای رسیدن به پایانی که میخواد حساب میشه و طبیعتا meh.
البته که هنوز هم سبک رواییش رو میپسندم و آرت قابل قبولیم داشت استثنائاً پس شاید بازم دو ستاره خیلی نامهربونی باشه و من ادم مهربونیم.

La próxima vez que no vimos, era demasiado tarde.
Analizando todo lo que ha sucedido aquí puedo posicionar este volumen como uno de mis favoritos. Todo lo que sucede es significativo, comenzando por el capítulo 123. Tiene escenas que me llegaron al corazón, momentos bonitos y un retroceso al punto entre la felicidad de todo el equipo junto así como un ligero vistazo al punto de quiebre. Sinceramente me ha gustado.
Es una pena que no lo animaran. Hubiera quedado hermoso

Ahora tenemos una unión y cada vez más cercano el enfrentamiento. No quiero terminarlo, pero tampoco puedo esperar más.
