But there are more dark clouds forming on the horizon for Wren and Robyn.
The undead have made escape impossible. Ruthless gangs patrol the highways and danger lurks in the shadows. A new friend, a new settlement and things are looking up, though all is not what it seems.
In no time at all they find themselves in the worst kind of trouble. Now they have to pick a side. Whose will they choose?
Safety comes at a price. Is it one they’re willing to pay?
I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dog.
I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released forty four books across five different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.
In addition, most of my titles are now available as audiobooks narrated by Kim Bretton, so if you’re one of the many people who struggle to find the time to read, you can listen on the go.

You've done it again even though I'm sat here wanting to sleep, I couldn't put the book down, another great story on wren and Robyn in the zombie apocalypse , great characters and a great story, cant wait for the next installment
This series is like a whirlwind of nonstop action and one line zingers. Christopher does a great job of playing on the dynamics of a sisterly relationship. These girls can’t manage to get a break. Hoping that they get a few nights rest before the next tragedy occurs. And there better be some damn pop tarts in one of those cellar rooms for Robyn! Lol Kim is an amazing narrator. I just love her voice & accent.
I was voluntarily provided this review copy at no charge by the author, publisher and or narrator.
Wren and Robin help others once again. Will this finally be the group that will help them find a safe place? The sisters find the grass is not always greener especially during an apocalypse. Great character development and descriptive settings and scenes. I have my favorites and find myself wanting to tell the girls my opinion on everything. I received a free audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Oh god it's so addictive impossible to put down! Can't turn the pages quick enough then kinda wishing you didn't. Just as you think phew thank god.... No no all hell breaks lose again. Another fantastic story this author really knows how to hook you in. I found this series after reading the burning tree its mindblowing! Then Safe Haven again another unputdownable compelling read.
Once again the sisters show us how to navigate the zombie horde with style & squeak through tight spots with grace. Wren amazes me with her unusual tactics and kept me hooked desperate to find out if they can recognise and stay ahead of the threats with their team work - you can't keep these girls down!
Not dull, but poor characters and lacks creativity
Horrible editing, written with bad grammar that makes many sentences difficult to understand. The characters act like 8 year olds or adults but rarely their age. The plot line lacks creativity and is simply a constant running’ and gunnin’ style story with nothing positive happening. Rarely does the author develop side characters and when he does he kills them so the main characters never have any support or hope for a future.
This was a good book with a lot of action and solid story line. It does seem that a formula is developing of the sisters encountering another group of people who are not capable of surviving without them saving the day. And yeah...don't get invested in new characters too much.
The entire series was great. The people the sisters met on the way some good some just down right evil. They have skills with Speirs and bow and arrows to kill zombies and the evil men. Great read so pick up your copies today.
Wren and Robyn just keep on keeping on. They are a great pair, they are what makes this book great. Has a great supporting cast and a great storyline. Full of action and suspense. I recommend reading this to all that love fiction and the apocalypse.
Once again the two sisters find their way to another place that offers refuge and not all goes to plan! The humor between Robin and Wren makes me laugh out loud!
The sisters might have found an safe place for now. They helped save a lot of people, but they are never really safe anywhere from the zombies. On to the next adventure!
Never a dull moment in Robyn and wrens world Christopher Artinian continues to outdo himself keeping you captivated with every installment Kims narration is consistently high quality Bottom line zombie fans need this and the safe haven series in their collection I received a free review audiobook and voluntarily left this review
The End of Everything: Book 4 by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another hit! There’s nothing boring or slow about this series. If you’re looking for something new in the zompoc genre, get on this, seriously what are you waiting for (or is it four)?
What’s it about? Robyn, Wren, and Susan continue on their journey. Without giving too much away, it’s chalked full of action from start to finish (zombies and not-so-nice people). You get the sibling bickering (in a good way), new and old characters make appearances, and plenty more. One thing is for sure, there is no rest for these sisters during the apocalypse!
The narrator, Kim Bretton, continues to slay. She brings the sister’s to life and I can’t imagine anyone else narrating this series.
“Yeah, that’s great. I always wanted to starve to death while an army of monsters held me prisoner.”
I highly recommend this series and can’t say enough good things about it- there’s a reason Christopher’s books get rave reviews. Absolutely worth the credits and your time.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: It’s the zompoc- violence, death, bad people doing bad things (that’s all you’re getting due to spoilers). Language used: ret@rd x1, s x11, damn x7, hell x30.
The girls were driven to move on and eventually they find a settlement where they are hoping to find a place to stay; however, things are not always what they seem and the girls are once again forced to make decisions. This series is filled with pulse pounding moments, snarky humor, and interesting character arcs for the two sisters. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre. Kim Bretton's narration is entertaining and fun. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.
I absolutely love this series and Book 4 does not disappoint! Our two sisters, Wren and Robyn, continue to try to survive during the Zombie Apocalypse. Just when you think that things have gotten better for them and they can finally have some peace, the SHTF again! I find myself thinking that they are finally going to be able to settle down somewhere and start living a normal life, then BAM!!! Will they ever be able to just be teenaged girls again instead of awesome Zombie killers?
Christopher Artinian has written another non-stop rollercoaster ride in this installment. There are plenty of Zombie encounters, as well as a few villainous humans along the way (of course!). Wren and Robyn's ingenuity and ability to survive whatever comes their way gives the reader hope that if you are determined enough, you can survive anything. I love the interaction between the sisters and the snarky comments they throw at each other during times of crisis. This just makes them seem more real.
Be prepared for some characters that you have started to love to be killed off, but if you are a longtime Zompoc reader, you know this is going to happen! The narrator, Kim Bretton, is brilliant once again and really brings this book to life. Her perfect pacing and different accents for the characters really adds a lot to this book. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author/narrator and chose to review it.
This is a fantastic series as the girls battle different situations as Zombies. This read grabbed md from the first page to the last. This series is really addicting.I love how the Narrator brings out the different voices, and the Author has an amazing imagination. This is definitely a must read series and Listen. Shauna Joesten
I can't believe how every book just gets better. Yet again, the sister prove how strong the really are. I can't wait for the next book, beck why wait, I'm buying it now.
