This is a great story! I love this series. I am looking forward to reading more by this author. This is the third book that I have read by her and I can't get enough of it. I am always swept into the story from the first page. I don't want to put it down because I can't wait to see what happens next. I love the interactions between Giuliana and Pasquale.
Pasquale should be leading his own pack but due to his father, he is trying survive his new life. Giuliana is the beloved niece and an Enforcer. They have been tasked with finding one of their own. They are also mates but don't really want the life long commitment or so they thought. Will they be able to discover the truth before it's too late?

Holy hotness!!! Pasquale and Giuliana' story has so much depth within the pages, both of these characters are damaged by their pasts and have something to prove to the pack around them.
I think my favorite thing about this series is that it's not just shifters or Vamps, it's a whole world of magical beings and you can't help but to be sucked into their world.

I am loving this series and its paranormal creatures.
There are shifters, fae, and other mystical characters.
This one is about Pasquale and Guiliana who are mated but they both fight the mate because neither wants to be controlled by another.

This was the best one yet!! I didn’t want to put it down but life gets in the way!! Had me on the edge of my seat yelling and fanning myself too!! I cannot wait for Heath’s story!

This is Giuliana and Pasquale’s (a former Bianchi pack member and scenter) story. We learn early Pasquale’s has a big secret. Pasquale finally tells Giuliana his big secret when she wants to seek vengeance by hurting and possibly killing his packmate, Fabiana (villain from previous book).
Both Pasquale and Giuliana feel like they really don’t belong/don’t fit in with their current pack. It’s sad Giuliana feels this way even after being released from her former pack where she was being smothered by her uncle. Neither Pasquale nor Giuliana feel they can mate with each other. They both have different reasons and have issues to work out.
A Pack member goes missing and Pasquale and Giuliana are put on the case to find him. The name of some of the group responsible for the missing pack member triggers bad memories for Giuliana and she completely shuts down. To help Giuliana, Pasquale is forced to show some of his secret and let it be known he is Giuliana’s mate. Pasquale is so sweet and caring to Giuliana vowing/showing her that he’ll always take care of her even without taking that next step in the mating process.
More than a few chapters of the book were more focused on Silva and her people, I think I might have enjoyed it more if this wasn’t the first of her back story – I was a bit confused the entire chapter where the drama surrounding Kalinda and Kieran started. Silva’s arc seemed to come out of nowhere and while reading those chapters, I’m thinking why does this need to be introduced in their book? (Now that I’m reading the next book, things are cleared up-confusion resolved, lol) We finally learn who Kieran is and why he is so mad - that’s a shock I didn’t see coming. I also didn’t remember that Kalinda and Silva was so tightly connected.
The story ends on a cliffhanger not directly related to the main characters but makes you want to read the next book ASAP- I certainly did.

Intrigue, mystery, romance, this series definately has it all. And this next book Mated to the prince, well what can i say, but wowser, its definately heating up and not just between the couples.

Pasquale is also keeping a secret, but its soon going to out how long can he keep it till he is exposed? However these two wolves are fated mates determinded no to do anything about been fated just yet, they have work to do. But when twists and turns come around in this wonderful story, they rely on each other, not just for strength , comort but because they complete each other. Evil is slowly trying to find its way into the pack.
Honestly, this has to be one of the most intriguing series i have ever read and definately worth a good 5 star rating

Third book in the series. So far from what I am learning in this series is that they are staying with the theme and just moving on to each character to have their own book and life. I love that so much. That way you don't get a mishmash of too many things happening at one time. That being said. Giuliana is from another pack and she opened a clothing shop and loves what she does. She has helped the new pack leader with his second in commands mate. Now it is time for her to met someone she does not want to spend time with since he is an Alpha and she is not wanting anything to do with Alphas. But this Alpha is a Prince in his own right. Pasquale has his secrets he wants to keep from everyone along with Giuliana also having her secrets. But will they share them or not? There is intense action and adventure for these two. Along with their HEA.

This very well-written book 3 in the Portal City Protectors Series is a wonderful story and a has great characters. The characters are believably well-crafted and they react in a realistic fashion. There is drama, tension, danger, and romance. This story has action, adventure, twists/turns, chemistry and love with a HEA that must be worked for. These characters have wonderful personalities that are brought alive by this great Author

Low-level mage Kalinda was just going through life trying to build her catering business and live with the fact that she was removed from her family because of her magic. Little did she know that she was so much more and she was about to gain a lot!
This was an okay read. I haven’t read the other books but I was able to follow along which is good. This is both a shifter paranormal romance and mafia romance….yeah. Not sure how well both blended together but not bad.
I don’t love Kalinda. While we’re told she is the way she is because of the things she had to deal with, she annoyed me. Like you may not want to deal with stuff but that doesn’t mean it goes away. I was glad when she finally got some self-awareness.
I liked Romano but I wanted more to really know him.
The ending was wrapped up quickly. What happened with the lions??? Did they just stop?!

October 1, 2020This is the first book I read by this author. I really enjoyed it. I had to hurry up and finish it once I started. The author creates a new world full of magic and shifters, but it is done in the context of our world (for the most part). This is the third book in the series, and the author provides enough background information so a reader is not lost if this is the first book read. However, I would have understood things a bit better if I had read the series from the beginning. I like how the shifter wolf pack had some different dynamics, and I really liked the relationship between the two main characters. The author tied things up well at the end and even gave a preview of what was to come. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Book three in this great paranormal series, full of mages, fae, shifters, magic and of course the hate-to-love-you relationship development between Giuliana and Pasquale. Both have secrets, both have this strong attraction to one another they try and fight for different reasons, but to find a missing person they have to work together. It's great to see Giuliana in her own story and all the other characters from the previous books, makes for a very funny, hot/steamy, suspenseful and all-round entertaining world to read about.

A new author to me. I actually mistook this author for another and this book just isn’t in my genre or my cup of tea but I gave it a try. It’s not a stand alone, and I didn’t realize thinking I was reading another author. I thought, who knows, maybe I love this troupe, I’ve never read it, but it just isn’t for me. It is well written and I am positive if this is your genre, you’ll love,it. I found it a bit hard to figure out the world itself but if I had read the rest, I’m sure it would have been clear. So, no fault on the author at all.

This one starts out with this book looking like the mates will never be mated. But a lot of turns and twists make it look like mating would never be because of secrets and mistrust and hurt on all sides. I love that old and new can change hurts and heartaches to make new. Love heals all So they say and it just might be true with all the mates in these books by Georgette St. Clair. I loved this book and thought the birth was a creepy one that Baby is a powerful one.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength and happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

I just loved this series (portal city protectors) this is the 3rd book and is best read in order, as it will help with knowing about the other characters in the series. This book is about Giuliana and Pasquale who both have secrets, but need to find a way to trust each other while trying to find a fellow pack member who has gone missing.

Mystery, intrigue and edge of your seat thrills; this is what you can expect from this gripping story and a whole lot more too! Giuliana and Pasquale are interesting and likeable characters that are well represented in this captivating story. Bring on book four!

I enjoyed reading this story with its intriguing storyline and fast paced action. The characters have a believable chemistry though they seem to be unable to communicate clearly which leads to many misunderstandings. I liked revisiting the characters from previous books which wasn’t a total surprise but a welcome one.

This was another enjoyable and entertaining read. The transition from the last book was pretty smooth and watching the characters evolve has been pleasurable. Can’t wait for the next book.

Pasquale and Giuliana were good together, the bond between them was strong, they were drawn to each other, the chemistry between them was strong, they were good together but their journey did have it's bumps but they were made for each other.

I first discovered Georgette St Clair books as audio books on You Tube and was hooked.
