An incredible collection!

DIAMONDS AND DIRT ROADS by Erin Nicholas
You know when something is so good, you aren't sure exactly how to say how good it is? That your yardstick for measuring good has to be revised to allow for a higher, better, greater standard? That you just want more of the same? That you just need a moment or twenty to reflect on your mind being blown and your heart being full?

That's what I've come to realize is the deal with Erin Nicholas's books, and Diamonds and Dirt Roads, the first in her Billionaires in Blue Jeans series, is no exception.

The series is about triplets whose father has died unexpectedly, leaving them some eccentric requirements in order for them to inherit. Diamonds and Dirt Roads introduces all of them, but this is Cori's story. She's always been the fun-loving sister, who is the life of the party but hasn't shown that she knows how to stick around for anyone, except maybe her sisters. The lawyer tasked with executing their father's will, Evan Stone, is in some ways cut from the same cloth. Few have accused him of having too many long relationships. But the two of them are surprised by some intense chemistry, which because of the stipulations of the will, they do their best to deny. At least for a time ;)

Ms Nicholas does such a beautiful job with these characters. Cori and Evan feel so real, and it's such a pleasure to be privy to their feelings and growing friendship and relationship. Cori's sisters and Evan's friends and the town of Bliss make for a captivating rest of the cast, and each page is both a pleasure to enjoy and a twinge as I know there is an end ahead.

Cori and Evan find that love changes them, in the best of ways, and also perhaps reveals themselves more fully to themselves and those around them. I love how Ms Nicholas reminds us of the power and promise of love in Diamonds and Dirt Roads.

Having finished this terrific book, I will definitely be rereading! And the next book cannot come too soon!

Just for This Moment - Piper and Myles have now reached the end of her no dating period. Love how he contacts her immediately. They barely get started dating again and they end up in a marriage of convenience. When their feeling become real real fast will this turn into a real marriage? or is it already one? A misunderstanding occurs and well I wanted Piper to LISTEN!!! We do get a HEA and a bonus at the end. Great series!!!

Falling Into Forever - Rhys and Kari have a chemistry that one might envy. She is running from her past. He always wants to help. Well written with just the right amount of angst to keep you reading. Love their story and their romance.

Second Chance Charmer - Finn broke Willow's heart. He is back in town - can he win back her heart? So I loved how sassy and spunky Willow was and my heart hurt for her. It also hurt for Finn - once I heard his story. Her dad made me angry and it only got worse. Sometimes love is worth a second chance.

It Was Only a Kiss - Shelby and Nate have a history that is not so pretty. She is successful now but not all that happy. He is in their hometown doing what he loves but still regrets hurting Shelby. When they see each other again can he explain and will she forgive him? Loved her dad.

A Pinch of Commitment - A really romantic read with some heat. Ethan and Lily start off with a marriage of convenience but sparks fly really soon. Of course there is angst but I loved how it played out. One of my favorites in this series.

A Reader’s Bliss
Just wanted to take a moment and share a few words about this anthology.
Just For This Moment is one of the first books by Kait Nolan I read, and I was captured from the first by the obvious connection between the characters as well as by the marriage of convenience trope - one of my favorites! And coming from a small-town newspaper background, that also intrigued me. But the tipping point was the feels the HEA engendered! I now have all of the books that have come out involving the Wishful community.
I’ve read Love in a Small Town, a great second-chance romance of two people who went through divorce only to find their way back to each other, and a great introduction to the Pine Harbour community and more Love in... stories.
I’ve also read Erin Wright’s Accounting for Love, which was my introduction to the writings of Erin Wright, and now I have read all her books and can recommend each one. (It’s been a while since I’ve read this one, sos I look forward to rereading it.)
With these as a baseboard for the rest of the stories included, I’m looking forward to finding even more authors that I’ll be following in the future!

So far I've only read Kait Nolan's story, but I loved it. Revisiting these characters and this small town of Wishful was a treat. Two of the many things I like about Kait's stories are the warmth and charming sense of community and that even the secondary characters have a bit of depth, definitely potential (like you know there is more there - they are just waiting their turn for her to tell their story). Piper and Myles though, were really interesting protagonists with a compelling story. Loved it!

Wishful is a wonderful little town and a great place to go to escape when life is really hard. I find these small town stories to be a balm. Reminds me of :

Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you've got;
Taking a break from all your worries
Sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
...
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to be where you can see,
Our troubles are all the same;
You want to be where everybody knows your name.
...

What a fabulous collection of stories in one place... small town romance full of heartwarming hopeful love stories!

I am a big fan of Kait Nolan and Wishful is one of my favorite fictional places, however I am also excited about the other stories, some from authors I know and love and also new authors to get to know.

Just For This Moment is the Kait Nolan contribution:

This is book 4 in the Wishful series, but they can be read standalone. Piper is one of my favorite Wishful characters and I am so glad she has her book with Myles who is funny and adorable, despite being a workaholic.

This was a friends / fake marriage love story that made me laugh and smile, as do all the stories set in this charming, quirky southern town. If you've never visited Wishful, the first novel in the series is free. Get it. Read it. You won't be sorry.

Just For This Moment (Wishful #4) by Kait Nolan
I get some serious Pitch Perfect vibes out of this with the amazing list of musical references, the girl-power solidarity, and the underdog who gets his girl. I’ve come at this book from both ends of the series; I’ve read the books before this and I’ve read most of the books after this, so it was about time I filled in this missing chapter in my Wishful education. I can’t say I can understand where Piper and Myles are coming from, fighting to be seen as their uniquely black sheep selves. I’m more like Leah in the ‘fighting back comments to remain liked’ outlook. However, I loved watching this pair learn how to love one another. They made me laugh, the made me cry, they made me want to shake some sense into them, and they made me love.

I love anthologies! This one has 17 stories included. There is a lot of different authors to check out. I've already read a couple of them and am looking forward to the rest. A couple of my favorite authors are included. Kait Nolan has one of her Wishful books included. Myles and Piper are a great couple and the story is fun. Their relationship has been simmering for a while and finally heats up! As Myles says 'Time's up Buttercup." Erin Nichols also has a fun story in the collection. She has the first in her trilogy about identical triplet sisters and their father's unusual will. Evan and Cori are so much fun! The story is full of humor and steam! I haven't read the rest of the stories yet, but am looking forward to reading the rest. It's a great way to find new authors!

I've read "Happily Ever His" by Delancey Stewart and it is fantastic. This book has it all: humor, a love-sick attack chicken, amazing characters, a sweet romance and some drama. The story is original and fun with some quirky and entertaining characters. Even if you don't usually read books that fall into the Fake Relationship trope you should still check this one out it is worth your time.

I'm working my way through the other books in this collection with high expectations of entertaining romances with a wide variety of situations & characters.

17 (!) stories in this antholoy, and not even short stories, but "proper" books - over 3000 pages of reading fun.
The common theme for all the stories was the second chance, either with a former lover, or just at life, or or or... Some stories were brilliant, some were so-so, most of them were good, none of them I would call bad, or didn't like. Some protagonists were more likeable than others, or more realistic, but in general, all the plots were good, the storytelling between good and brilliant - what more can I say, this is definitely worth having!

This was a great find on iBooks of 17 romance novels. I reviewed each book separately under their GoodReads pages so you can see the detail ratings and reviews I left there, but overall I give this 4 stars. There were some really good books in this bundle, but a few not so much. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys some good, wholesome small town romances. (I even read some of the other books in the series even though these are all standalone). Enjoy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve read Zoe York’s story in this collection, Love in a Small Town. Loved this story. The lead characters are sweet together. The location is charming. The story is interesting. And I’m a sucker for a law enforcement or military leading man.

I’m really looking forward to reading the rest of the stories.

The individual books in this anthology varied a lot--in how well they suited my taste, in how much they relied in sex to move things forward, and in how well they were edited. With the variety, it will probably have something for most tastes unless you want completely clean.
