Proud to be a Cheesehead. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If you are able to withstand the frigid winter air, Wisconsin has some of the most down to earth, honest people around. I passed a very happy childhood there, climbing trees, and running along the river.
Proud to be a McEachern Indian. At fifteen, we moved to a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. The warm, Southern culture touched my heart.
Proud to be a Cougar. I attended Brigham Young University, where I graduated with a BS in Human Development.
Proud to be a Cuate. I spent a year and a half in Guatemala as a Christian missionary, spreading the message of hope and love. The Guatemalan people are some of the kindest people you will meet.
Proud to be a Human Resource Professional. I was employed for many years in the field of Human Resources.
Proud to be a Wife and Mother. And I thought that Human Resources was a demanding career. Nothing has been more difficult or more rewarding than being a wife and mother. My happiness is centered in the happiness of my family.
Proud to be an Author. Writing has been a source of great joy in my life. I hope to share with my readers a piece of myself in every novel. I hope to uplift and entertain others through my written word.
I enjoyed the story of a cowboy anonymously purchased a vendor license for Becca when she didn't have the money to purchase it herself, which starts her mission to find him and thank him. Later after her business is a success and she buys a house, loses cat and meets Jack, her very HOT neighbor, who is in the process of selling his house. After Jack meets Becca, he decides to stay in the neighborhood and pursue Becca even though his new store is 45 minutes away. Will they have a lasting relationship? I highly recommend this book.
A great story that had you laughing one minute and crying the next. The book is well written and has such descriptive scenes they pull you into the scene. Becca Foley has settled into helping women in poverty all over the world but can’t find enough money to open her local store. In steps Jack Jones a handsome cowboy who pays for her license without her knowledge. She immediately begins to look for him. He is her neighbor but you must read this book to get all the juicy story for the ending.
Jack and Becca have a way to go to their relationship. It starts out with their first meeting in a rainstorm. But Jack is setting up his second garden store in Dallas. There are a number of ups and downs on the way to their engagement. All enjoyable to read. Well worth the time. I think you will, enjoy their story.
This was a great story on love and loss to two people who love each other. The fact that one can become jealous when he thinks she is too friendly with someone else. This story tells the tale of how two people can overcome jealousy and become each other's love. This was a free book and this is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
A stranger pays off a debt so a woman can open her business. Will she ever find her hero? Will Jack ever talk the woman of his dreams to give him a second chance? Can a lost cat bring two lonely souls together? Find out in this sweet romance! Just what you need to read on a stormy day:) Happy Reading!
A great story of love and compassion. Becca planned everything out for her store but forgot to have enough to pay for her business license. Rob happened to be there and paid but didn't tell her who he was. Three years later he finds her cat, helps her design her garden, and love insues.
There were a lot of different and interesting characters in this book. I loved the way the main characters were trying to take it slow when that was not easy. I love storylines that show different life styles but show who the special people are. Thanks for this journey to Texas.
This is a sweet and charming little romance with adorable and heartwarming moments as well as fun and sassy characters that will have you enjoying their journey towards unconditional love and happily ever after.
I like stories with a bit more... this had a cute love story but the couple was so focused on their chemistry I wasn’t sure why they were together. The family seems likeable, and the teasing between the brother was memorable.
I enjoy series when they are well-written books. This was an enjoyable first book in this series. I loved that the man she was looking for as her benefactor was the man she met. It was fast, sweet, an heir of forgiving, and a yummy romance. I look forward to the rest.
A really fun story how two people bump into each other and one helps the other. They end up being neighbors but don’t realize who the other one is. It was interesting to see how the connect and how their relationship grows. A great book to read!
A real page turning, fun story. Love the main characters, although he was a bit full-on straight away. Impressed with his generosity at the start of the story. Like her shop and why she does it. An fun afternoon read. Leaves you smiling.
A few funny scenes, a little boy and two people trying to figure out relationships & family. Both had been affected by their parents' divorce. A clean story
Loved every second of this book. This is perfect reading for me from beginning to end. I'm hoping we see a continuation of Becca and Jack are the dream couple of romance.
This sweet, clean romance set in Texas is a good solid story. The time line seemed a little confusing to me in spots. The characters are strong and a fun family of men will lead to a good series while finding their soul mates.
