The author, Tabitha A. Scott, is a master of energy, both in human and electrical energy. She created the biggest solar panel community and was recognized by the White House for her technology innovations.
I loved reading about her journey into the Costa Rican jungle + the small workbook she included at the end; helping one get started on raising their vibration and surrounding energy fields.
I zoomed through this title in two days! —That's fast for me.
"The answers to your prayers were granted, but you didn't take the risk to accept them. Hope is but an aspiration without action."
The story Tabitha shares to go alongside this quote is great for those of us who have trouble receiving help from others, struggling to recognize that it may indeed be divine intervention.
I highly enjoyed reading about this author's journey into the jungle and the messages Spirit had to offer her. Seeing messages in various forms was fun! Examples: Via Intuition, the Animal Kingdom, etc. She was right, one doesn't have to enter the jungle to reset their inner being; one must cultivate an awareness of the inner terrain, the outer one is a reflection of that. I switched up my outer terrain as the author did, before realizing my inner terrain needed an adjustment and began the work.
"Hope is weak. Commitment is powerful."
I was expecting the workbook section at the end to pack more of a punch and be a bit longer, offering extra guidance on intuition (then it did) and include extra animal meanings/messages. This does not discount the author's journey in any way. I love how she talked about people having preferences for getting into action. This is why what works for one doesn't always work for another.
"The key to happiness is sourcing what recharges you in your own unique way and then doing more of it over time."
Personal Notes: Happy tears made their way down my face while I read each passing synchronicity. I too have had many strange encounters with hoards of animals like the author shares in this book. HOARDS. Snakes, Lizards, Hawks, Ants, Roadrunners, Quail. Mourning Doves...*the worst while trying to sleep in.* I attract the strangest of animals on such a consistent basis indoors or outdoors, that a spiritual massage therapist introduced me to the term animal totems. She noted how it was so odd the types of animals I was coming into contact with on a daily/nightly basis. I was being "harassed" by the animal kingdom everywhere I went, or so I thought! I purchased the big paperback "Animal Speak" by Ted Andrews, it has been most helpful —packed full of animal meanings and messages helping me decipher and navigate my life path. We joke about how I'm a version of Pocahontas + Snow White. Lizards and other animals would try to breach the front door upon my arrival, I've had road runners pecking at our sliding glass door, owls at the window, encounters with scorpions. Did I mention my fianceé is basically an untrained dog whisperer? He has a special bond with dogs and cats, but mostly dogs, they'll flock from all over, trying to get away from their owners to get to him, it's WILD Thornberries at our house. —If you remember that children's show. Meditation outside is almost unsafe for me, I'm not kidding. But that fear of being bit or stung represents internal qualities of resistance I need to work on. *I swear though, I'm the person that would get knocked out by a Yetti throwing stones in the forest. Jokes.* Connecting with Spirit and the animal kingdom is a must for me, it's where my connection has always been strongest; when I'm not resisting like an idiot that is.
"... analysis paralysis..."
This book reaffirmed I can and will write my own book(s) one day, in a very similar fashion. I am grateful to the author for having the courage to be bold and make moves beyond what society would deem as "normal", sharing her wonderful story with the world. You never know who you'll inspire! Get out there, be bold, and share!
Much gratitude to literary publicist Marianne Pestana for the recommendation and paperback copy. I was under no obligation to write a review, my honest opinion is given voluntarily.
The author is a very close friend of mine and while I know her story almost as well as I know my own, I'm still amazed by this book. I've always trusted my instinct but I've struggled to explain to others how to recognize this gut feeling. Tabitha provides guidance on how to do this, as well as how to move past the 'shoulds' in life that don't fit with our own values, needs, and desires. In this soul-baring book, she sheds light on the struggles we all face in our personal and professional lives and gives us steps in how to navigate difficult paths and decisions that others attempt to block us from.
It was good to know about the qualities and signals we can receive from the animals. To me, this book expanded the response/clues we receive from the Universe / Spirit / Guardian-angels.
