Awsome book about magic and adventure

When I speak first read this series about talking cats, magic (those that uses spells, hexes, charms, and psonics), drsgons, creatures of myth and legends, gods and goddesses, and all of in epic stories of creative fanesty written from the minds of two authors, I realized I discovered a gold mine of reading treasure. Now, a short synopsis of the book.
To get the full effects of the series, the books should be read in order.

It all started on a proposed trip to Vestavia traveling by sea with Omen, Tormy, Kyr, Tyrin, and ship load of their friends and family. But their adventure (troubles) began. What you expect from adventurous talkimg cats, their magic welding friends, and magically glowing egg with an unknown occupant.

The characters are feisty, really charming mixture of animals, children, and grown ups (monsters, too), and stubborn fighters. The fast paced action /drama covered with many twists that the reader will be unable to put the book down. I loved reading about the characters, their quirky personalities, their adventures, but mostly their talking cats. I want one!

As an older than average adventurer, I highly recommended this book. I look forward to reading the next book!

I found this sixth book in the Of Cats and Dragons series impossible to put down, but I didn’t want to finish it, either. Now that I’m done, I miss the magic, the battles against horrid creatures, and, most of all, I miss Kyr and the cats.

Many characters from previous books are back. Don’t be concerned if you can’t remember who everyone is. The actions of each of these folks—their speech, their particular knowledge of magic, their attitudes—all of these details serve to spark one’s memory. My personal favorites are Tormy, Tyrin, and Kyr. Tormy in particular has grown not only in size (big as a horse), but also in depth. His contributions to the fight against darkness show an understanding and thoughtfulness we haven’t seen before.

In addition to reintroducing many of the good guys from earlier books, Leever and Ochlan have created the most imaginative, terrifying, detailed creatures I’ve ever encountered in a work of fiction. Time after time, attack after attack, I thought, “They’ll never get out of this one!”

I is wantingnessness more! And there is more. There are a couple of surprises on the pages after the end of the story. Don’t miss them.

Four stars because I love Tormy and Tyrin. This is Book 6 in a fun series that is more potential than actual written brilliance. The series feels at times like it could use one more round with just the right editor for a finer polish with a tighter warp and weft to the threads of the tale. That being said, I will absolutely read everything new as it comes out and plan to go back to read the novellas that fit in between the main storyline. The adventure is thrilling, the theory of magic is complex, the world is full and complete. The forces of good triumph over evil as is expected, but the means and methods are varied and (mostly) unpredictable. If I haven't talked you into listening yet, do it for the talking cats!!!

By the second chapter I was hooked on this story. This is an engrossing fantasy story that just pulls you in with the story and the characters. The world building is excellent, you are fully immersed in a world of magic, and the things that live there. The flow and pacing is perfect, and the action is plentiful. The characters are what really shines here. They are complex and layered and just come alive on the page. This was my first time reading this author, but I will absolutely be reading more of her work. I had to force myself to put this down every night just to go to bed. If you love fantasy, you don't want to skip this book

The Silence is ended

This is another great Tormy and Omen adventure, along with Kyr, Tyrin, Templar and more. The abilities of the talking cats are starting to become clearer. This book delves more into Dev and Templar's background through their inner thoughts. I hope there are future volumes which give us more information. While this book could be read as a stand alone, start at the beginning with Night's Gift. You'll be glad you did. This is a great fantasy series.

Another spell-binding tale full of action and intrigue with all of the characters we have grown to love. It is wonderful to slowly learn of the cats capabilities and history, while enjoying their pranks and innocent blunders. As so many others state, cannot wait for the next book!

I just love this series and this book was just has good. Tormy and Tyrin are the best characters. I mean talking cats. I love the way the narrator of the audio books gives them a slight Scottish accent, at least thats what it sounds like.

Silence can be deadly.
When bad things happen, it takes strong and brave people to take action. It's not always the safest thing to do, but it's the right thing to do. Great story! Couldn't put it down!

One of the very best fantasy series I’ve ever read.
Great characters, (did I mention sentient cats?👍🏻), awesome environments, fantastic action, emotional ups and downs, downright scary at times, but it all comes together to put a permanent smile on your face.

This is excellence on paper 📝 (or electronic book apps).

You simply can’t get better fantasy tales and the authors/artists are two of the kindest, most caring, generous and loving women I’ve ever known.
I feel like they’re best friends yet I’ve never met them.
I’m a huge fan and that’s an understatement!
We love you Camilla and Carol! ❤️

Sincerely,
Brittany & Alan McDonald 🤗🥰

4.5 Stars. This is probably my favorite of the series thus far, from the stakes, to the addition of Athrias (sp? I listened to the audio version...), to the slightly allegorical/metaphorical/whatever-ical nature of the story, to finally addressing the issue of a certain type of problematic magic some of the characters have been using. Solid story, favorite characters, and some amazing action! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go find my Tormy for some kitty snuggles!

I didn’t think it possible to top the last three books in this series! But these amazing authors have done just that. I have loved each of their books but I do believe the sixth is the best (so far). So whether you are a returning fan or new to the series, grab Ven’Tarian Silence today!

After the heroics of their last adventure, it is time Tormy, Omen and their friends had a well-deserved vacation. So this band of close friends join Omen’s grandmother Deldano on a family vacation to Ven’Taria, a city filled with magic, for an epic Solstice celebration.

Kadana’s ship is a Ven’Tarian vessel and she hopes to get some repairs and at the same time learn more about her magical ship in the process. Much of the ship’s magic is from imprisoned elementals, something Melian scholar Shalonie and others find very disquieting. But the city they sail to practically runs every aspect of life with the same magic.

It seems even a vacation for Omen can never run smoothly. Join the voyage and discover what new troubles plague these intrepid travelers!

I cannot get enough of Cats and Dragons. My whole demeanor changes so dramatically with each new book that my fiancee correctly guessed "Cats and Dragons?" When I got this book. There are no words to express how much I love these stories. I have never wanted fictional characters to be real so badly.

My only complaint is, no Shard? What did the others tell her to keep her behind? I can't imagine her or Lily staying behind willingly.

An incredible end to the series! The addition of Athreus makes things really interesting. The night dwellers are threatening to take over due to the dawn child being imprisoned. Kier makes more and more sense, and Dev, Omen and Templar have to make a hard decision. I hope there is another book!
