Kylie Scott es una de mis autoras favoritas y esta es la serie con la que conocí sus libros. Stage Dive es mí favorita y amo a todos los personajes, tiene todos los sentimientos para mí.
Este libro tiene un compilado de historias con nuevos personajes y otros viejos pero los chicos de la banda y sus mujeres hacen varías apariciones divertidas, hay dos historias bonus de Anne y Mal para seguir enamorándose de ellos.
👠STRONG:
Nunca me imaginé que K.S sacaría la historia de Martha. La hermana de Ben no es un personaje que me guste desde el primer libro pero luego de ver algunos vistazos de ella en la serie mostrando que estaba cambiando, me parece que se merecía una segunda oportunidad.
Ella puede parecer una mujer dura, orgullosa y superficial pero aquí vemos que ella tiene un gran corazón. Me reí mucho con los momentos cuando cuidaba a su sobrinito Gibby y se ganaba su cariño. También con los miembros de la banda y las esposas.
Me gustó cómo se resolvió el tema que Martha arrastraba con Evie, que finalmente hablaran y se disculpara por casi arruinar su matrimonio hace años. Fue algo maduro lo que hicieron las dos, perdonar y estar en buenos términos.
El romance fue muy lindo! Me divertía con esta pareja. Yo no podía creerlo, enserio con Sam, el guardaespaldas!? Pero totalmente funcionó. Hubo momentos de tensión sexual, deliciosas peleas verbales y muchos momentos sexys. Sam era lo que ella necesitaba, alguien que la quisiera con sus imperfecciones y que la ayudara ver que estaba bien dejar entrar a las personas.
🥁MAL Y ANNE:
Puedo tener suficiente de estos dos? NOOOO!!! Quiero siempre más. Me he partido de la risa con el juego de roles en la tienda de libros y derretido de amor por la devoción que se tienen mutuamente. Y qué linda noticia, van a empezar una familia! Adoré está pequeña historia!
💋CLOSER:
Estuvo bien, me gustó en partes. Tenía un misterio, algo de acción y romance.
Mae era una modelo amiga de Lena, una de las esposas de la banda, y Ziggy un guardaespaldas de la empresa de Sam, historia anterior. Ella tiene un acosador y ponen a Ziggy a cuidarla.
¿Qué me pasó con esta historia? fue muy lento y los protagonistas no tenían mucho diálogo real. Al final cuando llegan a estar juntos, él dice algo como que 'Ojala no tuviera sentimientos por ti', hay un poco de tensión, no se sabe si ella lo mandará al diablo o no, y tienen sexo para ver a dónde los lleva todo. No fue exactamente lo que esperé.
Mae me gustó, era un personaje agradable y adorable. Una modelo famosa pero con los pies sobre la tierra.
No sé qué decir de Ziggy, no había mucho de él, la mayor parte de la historia estaba mirando a Mae o solo decía alguna oración. No llegué a saber nada de él. Lo que más habló saliendo del 'modo guardaespaldas' fue cuando confiesa cómo se siente a ella.
Tuve un momento raro con algo que dice Mae casi al final. Dice que siente que lo bueno no durará y que algo va a pasar y luego no pasa nada. Porqué diría eso? Ni idea pero me dejó esperando por algo que los separaría. Fue muy raro ya que pasa al epílogo después de eso.
La historia estaba bien pero me faltó más romance, realmente no sentí la química con los protagonistas y creo que con más páginas hubiera sido otra cosa.
🥁Mal y Anne +1:
Qué historia más tierna y divertida! Anne y Mal siempre me hacen reír, son una pareja épica de la que no me canso. Me encantó la llegada de Tommy y me morí de la risa cuando Mal iba a poner en el certificado de nacimiento Godzilla velociraptor! Solo él podría intentar algo así! Todos los miembros de la banda y las esposas en el hospital dando la bienvenida al bebé. Me encantó este pedacito de Mal y Anne!
🎸LOVE SONG:
Hay otro lado de la historia detrás de una canción y todos merecen una segunda oportunidad si es que la merecen...
La historia de Adam y Jill fue todo un tenso momento y acumulación sexual que solo pueden tener una ex pareja que no lo superó. Aún había amor solo tenían que ver si podían tener una segunda oportunidad para estar juntos.
Jill me encantó, principalmente porque enfrentó a Adam luego de que este la decepcionó. Había que ser valiente para buscarlo y decirle la verdad a la cara. Me hubiera gustado que no lo perdonara tan fácil pero entendí que ella siempre lo amo verdaderamente.
Ahora Adam no me gustó! primero decía que siempre amo a Jill y no pudo superarla pero tuvo sexo en el año que estuvieron separados. No la valoró en su relación, era un idiota total, escribió canciones sobre ella siendo una horrible novia cuando en realidad ella lo apoyó mientras hacía su música. Yo no sé si podría perdonar algo así pero ..
Aparentemente Adam maduró una vez que se hizo famoso un año después y cambio ciento por ciento.
Ok. No funcionó para mí. Necesité más de él para compensar a Jill, más actos que solo escribirle una canción de amor de la cual ni sé la letra. Hubiera eso ayudado a redimir a Adam ante mis ojos? Quizás, no sé. Nunca lo sabré. Y sí, lamentablemente no me gustó este héroe.
Fue genial encontrarme de nuevo con todas las parejas de Stage Dive, me la pasé muy bien con ellos! Y ojalá haya más actualizaciones de las demás parejas algún día... Por favor pronto!

I have already read each one of the books in this boxset. I bought this book because I wanted to read updates about Mal and Anne. I love reading about Stage Dive and I really want updates about the other couples in this series. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I can't wait to read about Dave and Ev.

Rocking at love!
Although I already had the three main reads I bought this book for the two Mal and Anne reads. Re-reading Martha and Sam's story reminded me of their beginnings and the chemistry they shared. Onto Mae and Ziggy to remember her stalker with his weird obsession and how protective Ziggy was even though they had only just met. Ending with Adam and Jill and the cheque he sent a year after they broke up! It was like visiting old friends especially with the two Mal and Anne stories. How Anne puts up with Mal and his antics gives you a giggle of a read, especially when he capitulates with 'yes Pumpkin' has you howling with laughter! The second Mal and Anne story brings Tommy into their world and makes them parents to a small bundle that makes them both mush! It's always great to drop into the Stage Dive world and this book was a happy slice of it.

This is just me being a little disappointed. But I also know myself and I'm not really the type for short stories so...
I remember loving the original series (but with the short visits with these characters I might just postpone the reread that I have been wanting to do forever because most of them annoyed the hell out of me) but this was just all so fast (short stories, duh!) and I didn't have time to adjust to anything. Martha is a pain, so her and Sam's story was a bust for me, Mae came completetly out of the blue and her love interest didn't ring any bells either. Adam and Jill were nice enough, at least their story didn't just happen, they had history. The stories about Mal and Anne were mostly me cringing about Mal's behavoir and her willingness to deal with him...

Catching Up.
These three novellas were fun to read and go back into the dive world universe. They are quick and easy to read and give the series greater depth.

Highly recommend reading for lovers of the original Stage Dive Series.
Mal would have to be one of the best 'stupid funny with occasion pearls of wisdom) characters I've ever read.

Overall I award this novella collection 4 stars. Here are my thoughts on each of the featured novellas -
Strong - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It appears I may not be as forgiving as others. Strong is Martha’s story and for those who have read the Stage Dive books, you’ll know she’s not a very nice person. I know we all make mistakes, and although I did warm to her a little I’m not sure I would be able to welcome her into my circle. However, Stage Dive are family and well maybe a leopard can change its spots 🤷
Strong is a fantastic addition to the Stage Dive series. I loved being back with everyone and seeing how life after Deep was treating them all. It was lovely to get to know Sam better too.
This novella was written brilliantly with the perfect mix of romance, seriousness and laughs. I am delighted to award it 5 stars.
Closer - ⭐⭐⭐
I love being back with the Stage Dive family and Closer introduces us to two new characters. Mae Cooper is a model and this is the first time we’ve met her (I believe). Ziggy Thayer is a name we already know as he is one of Sam’s protection team and he has looked after Stage Dive in the past.
I enjoyed reading this novella. It was a little too predictable I must admit, but enjoyable all the same. I would have loved to have been able to see more of Ziggy’s personality sooner, but I do feel how the couple are portrayed stays true to the storyline. Once I got to see Ziggy outside of work mode, I could recognise that he was more than just a hot body giving smouldering looks. I do feel the boyfriend/girlfriend declaration between the couple was untimely. Mae and Ziggy’s relationship seem to develop very quickly... a bit too quickly for my liking. Also, I would have loved to have seen more of them together as a couple.

I need more!! This is a great short story for those readers who like me are a huge fan of Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series and equally for those who are new. I will never tire of being in the company of the band and I’m certain new readers will be intrigued to officially meet them all and learn their stories by reading the series.
This novella focuses on Adam, who is the new big name of the rock industry, and Jill his ex-partner, and I really enjoyed getting to know Adam and learning this couple’s history. I thought the author did a great job, bearing in mind the length of this story, to let the reader know what had happened between Adam and Jill in the past and how things develop here in the present time.
This second chance story has me hoping that this isn’t the last we see of this couple…. or my Stage Dive guys!! It was lovely to have Mal add some humour and fun. I only wish this had been a longer read.
Mal and Anne bonus scenes - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely loved the bonus scenes featuring Mal and Anne – plus the rest of the Stage Dive family. They were a fabulous addition to this novella collection.

It's Kylie Scott and catching up with Stage Dive is always fun but...
The parts with Mal were the only good parts for me. Mal is just hilarious, no matter what, and he didn't disappoint in this one.
The rest seemed rushed, forced and just nothing I needed to know. It also had quite a few mistakes with spelling, incorrect words etc which I just don't expect from a Kylie Scott book.
I love the Stage Dive series. I have read it more than once and this one didn't come close to living up to that.

A great addition
I read the Stage Dive Series at least once a year. And Lead more frequently. Love this big family of folks. I have read each of these novellas before but the two Mal and Anne stories were new and a nice little extra. Kylie Scott is amazing and if you don't know the series read them in order and then add this compilation of additional extra tales. It's all good. Makes me wish it was my first time with these stories all over again.

Loved This
This compilation put books I’ve enjoyed before in one handy set. But what I especially enjoyed were the short stories about Mal and Anne and their lives post-Play. These two are my favorite pair from the Stage Dive series—Mal is hysterical and stays Mal even through fatherhood. A must have.

Steamy Romance!
Although these stories are short they still deliver all the feels, as we meet new characters and they find the one that they can’t live with out. As well as get more updates with our original couples from the Stage Dive Band series. Such a fantastic read for such a great price. Loved this book!!

Great Compilation
Great compilation of Stage Dive Novellas that also have two extras featuring Mal & Anne who are always entertaining.
I loved every single one of these books & it was so good to read them all together.
This is just the best series as there is always a chance to catch up on the previous couples too.

Loved diving back into the Stage Dive world
These novellas are wonderful. If you’ve never read the Stage Dive series, you’ll really want to after this “taste” of their world. If you’ve read them all, you’ll love revisiting them here with new characters and more sexy romance.

This was a good recap for me. I really wanted to extra scenes since I had already read the 3 main shorts in this book. I did re-read them so it was nice to get a refresher. Love Mal and Ann. Just finished Dave and Ev's story. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

This compilation is a must addition for any Stage Dive fan. I loved all the stories, but Mal is my favourite character as usual.

A nice cozy visit of the Stage Dive family and friends, plus it was good to see Sam get a happy ending even if it was with Martha (the "natural bully and thug" per Mal)
