I thought this book is a standalone... It's NOT.
Anyway, love it! It's not a unique story of its kind but the comfort and smut it gave me, managed to pull me out of my lil slumpy lump.

If you’re a fan of Katee Robert’s Touch of Taboo Series, you’re also going to love this! It’s the ex boyfriend’s dad trope, but they didn’t know he was the dad until the end.
And this was STEAMY 🥵🌶️ I absolutely ate it up and will be 100% reading it again.

This novella was HOT! It was packed full of toe-curling smut that had me sweating!
It was about 90% smut with a tiny bit of plot. Logan was a god - that man knows his way around the bedroom. Him & Savi together were explosive. Their time together was supposed to be a one night stand but it turned into so much more.
I’m a sucker for a steamy ex-boyfriends dad romance and it’s safe to save this one won’t be leaving my mind any time soon!

Whew 😅!!! This little novella packed a lot of kick! I’m talking 90-95% smut with a little background story. The book was fast, spicy, and on point! Now, you all know I like this kind of book to rebound after a book hangover, but I didn’t like like it, I loved it! Logan and Savannah are just 🔥. Oh and did I mention, Logan is Savannah’s ex’s dad??? 😅
Savannah fresh out of a on again off again relationship has vowed to set herself free, in all ways. On a girls night dare, she approaches a silver fox at a bar. What was only supposed to be a one night stand, turns into another, and another until the final kicker. Or is it?
Neither party aware of the connection between them, that is the ex, Trent, until it’s too late. It’s quite fun seeing when they figure it all out but y the end, trent is STILL unaware. This Novella ends in somewhat of a cliffhanger (I say somewhat because of you put the prologue and cliffhanger together you get some what better of an ending), but does say it will be continued. Please I hope so, I need more of Savannah and Logan in my life!!!! 🤞🏻

i’m so in shock of the words used in this book. i can’t even explain the icky feeling i feel when the word « seed » , « member » or anything similar is used.
No shade to the author, i know it’s hard work to write a book that has 100% of the readers satisfied so I’m not saying this booked sucked as a whole. i’m saying it wasn’t for me.

This book was amazing and definitely didn’t hold back any punches in the spice department……from the very first page I knew that it the kind of book you don’t read whilst your with your kids, parents or work colleagues. Think that 40 yo virgin scene when Steve Carrell is about to watch some naughty videos for the first time…. ;-)
After reading it, I defo needed a cold shower and maybe cash in on some afternoon delight with my fella LOL.
Savannah & Logan have THE best chemistry I’ve read in a long time…and I was happy to see the TBC at the end of the book….cause it’s definitely left me wanting a whole lot more….and do I want it? Of course I do….

Why have I just found Shayla Hart’s books?
Author Shayla Hart has done everything right when she wrote Logan’s character. He’s perfect. Savi struggles with reaching that “0” during schmexy time, but Logan said he would take it all night until she does. He pins her arms above her head. The bed is creaking! He’s pierced, too! So, what’s wrong with him? He happens to be Savi’s ex-boyfriend, Trent, dad. Eh. Just a minor thing.
Logan is in his forties with a filthy mouth that is into that whole daddy talk and does it well. Once Logan and Savi realize the Trent connection, they reluctantly end their relationship. 7 Day Stand leaves on a cliffhanger but begins right back up in Book 2 in “14 Night Tryst,” which is a 5-star read as well.

I love how the author give a disclaimer that this novella is pure smut with very little storyline. Savannah and Logan are hot. After her boyfriend breaks up with her for the umpteenth time, Savannah decides to take trip on the wild side and indulge in a one-night stand with a silver fox she met at the club.
A one-night stand that turned into an addiction where Logan and Savannah can't get enough of each other. One-night turns into 3 then 4 all while Logan and Savannah began developing feelings. Honestly, this was my fault for not reading the book’s blurb before getting the book itself. I started reading this book and there is not much story. It is literally ALL sex. I don’t mind the smut but I do need it to come with romance and a story as well. On rechecking the blurb, I see that it says that the book is all smut, no story so this poor rating is my fault.
If smut is what you’re looking for and you don’t want or don’t care if there is romance than this is the story for you.
Honestly, this was my fault for not reading the book’s blurb before getting the book itself. I started reading this book and there is not much story. It is literally ALL sex. Labeled as a steamy hot quick read, we were warned there isn’t much of a story just a lot of hotness! Yes there was hotness Shayla definitely delivered on that but I also enjoyed the story behind it (there defo is one there) it is a fast paced book centred purely around Sav and Logan and their lust for each other and not being able to stay away even tho they know they should! I am totally routing for these guys and I am super excited to see what happens next for them! ❤️

Unexpected but great read!
This book was steamy, but in the best of ways! I love the dynamic of the main characters, you could feel the connection through the pages. The author did an incredible job of making the storyline realistic yet just enough of taboo to keep me hooked. My only complaint is needing more of this story!!! Hopefully there is more to come, definitely a new author of mine to read!

The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the fact that it ends in a cliffhanger and I didn't know that going in.
I repeat: This is NOT a standalone!
Otherwise, it was amazing. Cliché trope of ex boyfriend's dad but done right. And that man's mouth... Shew! I'm upset it left off right as Savi and Logan could dive beyond the lust but I'll be looking for the next book.
I can't wait for them to continue their story.

Let be honest...this isn't the best written book I've ever read. There are typos and missed works and some really odd phrasing choices in here. But I honestly didn't even care because the smut was great, characters were great, and I want MORE! Not gonna lie...I'm a bit upset at the ending because it doesn't say anywhere that it's a book 1...and then it ends in a "to be continued"...what? Kinda annoyed...but I did really enjoy the ride and i definitely want to see what happens next.
