Voluptuous Stormey Jaymes just wants someone to love her as she is...someone strong and powerful to look after her and care for her. With that in mind, she submitted her name in the draft hoping someday it would be picked and her blood matched to her mate. When not working in her dead end job, Stormey volunteers at the orphanage. Having grown up in the foster system, orphaned children are close to her heart. That aside, she lusts over the sexy warrior, Vampire Princess Hegna, heir to the throne. Princess Hegna, beautiful, accomplished and deadly warrior is focused on ongoing battles with lycans and their Alpha Azura Michaels. Human women are there as a food source and for her sexual pleasure. There is no "love" or mate in her future. But fate cannot be denied and Hegna and Stormey are matched. Don't count Stormey out. She is a woman on a mission with a soft heart but spine of steel and a warrior to tame.
The reasons for lycan/vampire hatred are still somewhat murky. Fighting and gore abound interlaced with torrid sex. A hated foe is slaughtered but another lives and mates unite in love.
Ariel leaves me with some teasers. Why do the lycans fight on? Vampire King Niall is the cruel, hated one in lycan history but beloved by vampires as a savior and champion. What is true and what is false. Hopefully book 4 brings me answers.

So Good!!
Another fascinating read from this Immortal Reign world! Hegna, a vampire princess and heir, becomes mated to a human. Stormey, human, has a bit of a crush on the vampire before they are even mated. She has had to fight for her survival for the majority of her life so she is strong but is also so sweet and personable and everyone, both humans and vampires, seems to like her almost instantly. Hegna has other things on her mind and doesn’t believe in the test that says they are mates so she ignores her body’s responses and pushes Stormey away. These two individually grow throughout the story, Stormey more in strength and confidence and Helga in opening up and trusting her body and fate. Together there is so much chemistry! Also little Maisie is just the sweetest little orphan ;)

I have loved the whole series, this book was highly anticipated.
Stormey loved children and had a passion to help those in need at the orphanage.
I loved when they adopted the little girl Maisie, she was so cute and loved them both.
The author stated that she will write several more books in the series, and I have to say I am super excited and looking forward to reading more about these particular characters five stars.

Auch wenn ich die Reihe super gerne mochte, sollte noch etwas am Schreibstil gearbeitet werden. Es ist zwar von Band zu Band besser geworden, jedoch waren viele Dinge sehr unpassend und manchmal einfach unangenehm zu lesen.

This one is a bit lower on my list of Ariel Marie. Not my favorite, although I enjoyed the series so far, I just felt like I was taken a bit out of it because of Stormie and the way she talks. She doesn't really talk like a normal human and I didn't really like how she was made to speak like a royal from the beginning. She was supposed to be a street-hardened girl who found her way to be the mate of the strongest and highest-ranked of the royal vampire sisters. At least we finally get Hegna's own story. And she was a pretty badass character so that's why it's 3. Otherwise it would be a 1 with just Stormie.

This was my third (attempted) book by Ariel Marie.
I’m going to reiterate what I wrote on the first book:
I try not to give reviews for books if I DNF them. Yet, I just needed to rate and review this properly. This book really disappointed me for many reasons. The plot and beginning makes it seem like Hegna Riskel would be an ice queen. This is definitely false. She caves in so quickly with Stormey Jaymes. Then it just felt like insta-love due to the story being about soulmates. I wanted some tension, banter, and denial of feelings (which is what you typically find in ice queen books). I also thought the writing was a bit… plain? It did not feel very well-written.
Marie claims that “Hegna could not fall for her human”. However, it was definitely insta-love. I felt like both characters skipped the falling stage. Sadly, my feelings continue for Marie’s writing.
This series did not work out for me.

Great Finish
Ariel, thank you for a wonderful Part 3 to the stories of the Riskel sisters finding their mates and vice versa. Good writing and pace. Can you please visit the issue with matched mates taken by the Lycans. In 2nd book we met some vampires that did not meet their mates because of the kidnappings, what happened to them and their mates? Hopefully the mates are alive. Just a loose end that I hope has a HEA!

Hegna, unlike her sisters, was the most irritating, Stormey definitely takes the prize for most clingy person in life, I mean who lets go of a crown and lots of money? it's not like Hegna wasn't a great incentive, a sexy vampire, heir to the throne, lots of money and the sex definitely wasn't going to be bad, but Hegna definitely deserved a stick in the head for her borderline stupid stubbornness.

This is the third book in the series and finally we see Hegna’s fated mate come through the draft.
Stormey is a strong character and it was fun to watch her standing up to her lethal warrior with no fear.
Really enjoyed the whole series and they have all kept me riveted as I’ve read.

Please don’t let this be the end…
Oh my goodness this 3rd installment was so so good. The characters tugged at my heart strings. I found myself wanting the story of the Lycans now. It feels like the two warring points on the wars and how they began are intriguing surrounding the king. Either way this is a series worth reading.

She finally admits she loves her!
Hegna is the next in line to be Vampire queen and that stupid lottery has chosen her a mate. Why now? Can't you see I need to get rid of that pesky werewolf. guilty pleasure
Great series! This is the third installment where we meet Hegna, the heir to the thrown and oldest of the three vampire sisters. Hegna has zero interest in meeting her chosen mate, Stormey, but Stormey is able to change her mind. Steamy scenes and lots of action when Hegna battles the Lycans. Fun read!

Bam !!!
Ok so great ending to the trilogy ! Honestly while I was reading this book. I thought that it would end up with Stormey becoming a lycan. But Henga loved her so much, that she married her anyway.
But that's not what happened. Was a good way to end this story.

Somebody bring me some water...This book is so hot, a cold shower is in order. This is one of my favourite series with strong, feisty women with weapons, true love and so much excitement and intrigue the pages pretty much turn themselves. Long live the future queen, her sisters and their consorts.

I’m loving this series! This take on vampires, the lottery for mates and the world the author has written keeps me entranced. Stormey and Hegna’s story fits in perfectly with the others in this series. I’m excited for the next one and to see where the author takes this story and world.

It was so worth the wait, totally had me on edge. Can't wait for the next book. This story has got it all. Stubbornness almost cost her in the end, but true love prevailed. Definitely enjoyed this series, a must read.

I love this series and I can't wait for the next book. Little Maisie stole my heart so happy with ending. The main characters were made for each other, I mean obviously they're mates but still. I was so excited to learn that there is gonna be more to the series! Yay!

Another good entry
The series so far has been quite good and this one is no different. I assume there's a sequel yet to come as there were are some loose ends, though if that's the case I'm curious who it will focus on with all 3 sisters now paired up.

Were there significant plot holes? Yes. Did I still get a hell of a kick out of this book? HELL YES.

Royal Bite was another exceptional sapphic romance by Ariel. This series just gets better and better! I fell in love with Stormey and Hegna and wish there was more haha. Definitely worth the read!

I just loved Stormey. She is so sweet. This is book 3 in the series. Hegna will be queen one day. Lots of action. The plot thickens. Hope there's more.
