A Bitch List is a list compiled by the woman who hates you and all the reasons WHY she hates you!
Nancy Sometimes in life, you do things that you deeply regret. Mine is Shaw Jackson, the boy I've hated since senior year.
He drives me crazy to the point that I've started a list of things that I hate about him. It's more a list of derogatory names for him but let's not split hairs.
The problem I have is that while I hate Shaw there are certain parts of his anatomy that I just can't get enough of. Most times when we fight those parts go near my parts and let's just say it's pretty epic.
Seeing as we fight A LOT well, you can guess the rest. But as tempting as he is, I just don't know whether I can trust him and not just with my heart.
Then he surprises me and now I'm totally confused.
It's not wrong to want the boy you hate for his p*nis is it?
Shaw There's always that girl who tempted you in high school, the one who got away. Mine is Nancy Andrews, the girl who I love to hate.
She drives me crazy but I just love to push her buttons.
The problem is there are parts of her anatomy which I think are magical. They must be because I can't resist them no matter how hard I try.
And I swear I try but I fail A LOT. As beautiful as she is though I'm pretty sure we'd kill each other if we spent any length of time together.
Then I receive a huge shock and Nancy steps up to the plate and now I'm totally confused.
It's not wrong to constantly think about the girl who hates you, is it?
I live in Cheshire with my husband, two dogs and mum in law and write romantic humour and contemporary romance. My first two books, Guess Who I Pulled Last Night? and No Bra Required both stayed at number 1 on the Amazon Humour list for 3 & 4 weeks respectively. My ambitions of becoming a writer started at the age of 10 when I started writing poetry at school, and was given the honour of reading one out to the rest of my year group (an horrific experience that I will never forget). Thankfully I have a wide variety of strange and wonderful people in my life, otherwise I'd be stuck on what to write about! I am currently talking to family and friends, finding out their innermost secrets in readiness for my next book.
My books are romances that come with a little more than vanilla sexy times, sometimes a few tears, lots of hot men and feisty women, but ultimately they'll make you smile.

In her usual brilliantly humorous style, this author has created another extremely entertaining and funny story, one where the two lead characters don’t like each other—and that’s an understatement!
Nancy Andrews makes it well known she doesn’t like Shaw, she thinks he’s an argumentative, egotistical idiot—no beating around the bush for Nancy. But—and it’s a big but—she likes his personal tool and the way he uses it. 🫣🤣 Shaw Jackson dislikes Nancy intensely, can’t stand her, but—and it’s another big but—likes her magical cooch! 🤣 Gee, these two are made for each other. 😀
Family is a big element in this book in different ways, as it is in the series. It is cemented by the support given for each member, even if in a joking way, the nurturing manner of a mother and father, the care between partners and even the understanding from extended family members—biological or chosen. All leaving you feeling wonderful, and at times, chuckling out loud. 😄 There are a few times when I wanted to shake a character because I was so annoyed or disappointed in them, but overall this is such a warm, happy story that you are left walking on a cloud after finishing it.
As stated, the humour in this story is brilliant; from the fun banter between the characters to the crazy antics they get up to. I literally burst out with laughter, especially the times when these witty scenes or comments sneak up on you, and even my husband was asking about my hilarity. 🤣
You aren’t simply reading this story looking in, you are a part of the story and participating fully, such is the incredible talent of this author who enables you to enjoy stories to this level. With the ending giving us a glimpse into the next book, I am already itching to read it. If I could I would give The B*tch List more than five stars!
This book is a brilliant read. It's story that you really don't expect to come good. Especially considering we are talking about sworn enemies. But in typical Nikki Ashton style she adds her spark and humour, making all come good.
Shaw and Nancy are probably one of my favourite couple in this series. And there story is one that I was most looking forward too. Well scratch that I love them all. Buy these two are special.
I have been privy to having early access to these stories from the beginning chapters. But I would never just blow smoke up Nikki arse and tell her lies. Here's hoping you all love them as much as I did.
I was gifted an early copy of this book for feedback purposes and all I can say is ... I would love to be a fly on the wall in any household in Dayton Valley, No scrap that, I would love to live there. This whole series so far has had a wonderful feel to it. With the kind of stories where you can just curl up with your book and get lost in it all.
This is the fourth book in this fabulous series and you can't help but fall in love with every single one of the characters. I would definitely say each featured character so far has been unique in their own way.
The Bitch list is Shaw and Nancy's story. A lawyer apprentice/student and a preschool assistant. Their history goes back to when Shaw and Nancy had googly eyes for one another in high school then something happened and they became... I wouldn't say enemies, but they certainly didn't have anything nice to say about each other. It was a fine line between banter and rude insults. And in Dayton Valley it's hard to keep your distance from anyone, it's a very close-knit community so the insults flowed whenever they were near each other.
I loved the back and forth with these characters, the, I want you but hate you moments. It was cleverly done by the author and in no way did this kind of behavior come across as childish.
This was a slow-burn romance, a story with humor, heartwarming moments, serious moments, and the added involvement and the shenanigans of characters from previous books too.
It was great from beginning to end and I can't wait for the next book in this loveable series.
I love the idea of a bitch list. I think we all know what a bucket list is. I have read a book on a sex list, a birthday list, and now a bitch list.
The hate these two have, I mean it’s not like hate-hate but more like unfriendly banter. I secretly don’t think they actually hate each other, it’s foreplay for them. If they could leave out the bs they will be so much happier for it.
I love this series.
Absolutely brilliant book, Shaw and Nancy have to be my most favorite couple of the series. The hateful banter between them is highly entertaining and is obvious to everyone around them they are HOT for each other.
Nikki once again injects so much humor and fun into this story, it has its hard moments as well but definitely the laughs outweigh the bad. The storyline is fast-paced and beautifully written I challenge any reader not to come away with all the feels. I look forward to what's coming next.
This book was brilliant I really enjoyed. There was so many great moments throughout this story. I laughed so hard at some parts I had to stop reading. There are also some surprising moments that I didn't see coming. So let's just say this book has every emotion in it and made me luv it and the characters loads. Im a big fan of this series and its been a while since we've been to Dayton but have to say it was so worth the wait.
Nancy is so great I love her character she's so caring, sweet and deserves the best. The history between Nancy and Shaw is great I really liked the back and forth between them and the attraction was crazy. They could fight the attraction all they wanted but it was alway goin happen no matter what was thrown at them.
I would highly recommend this book and series if you haven't started it yet you really have to. Bronte and Ellie are just so funny throughout this book I just love them and they really do keep there men on there toes. All the characters are brilliant throughout the book. It just makes the story flow so well your just left wanting more. I can't wait to see what Nikki does next with series.
I was lucky enough to be gifted an early copy of this book.
Its no secret that I have loved this series and that each book gets better and better BUT this one was honestly my favourite! I was HOOKED from page one till the end and LOVED it! Nikki is a pure genius with her put downs and I couldn't help but highlight all my favourite quotes in this one.
Nancy and Shaw have known each other for years and have always had a love/hate relationship. Their banter is honestly hilarious and filled with so much sexual tension that its not surprising when it finally combusts.
Not only do you get hilarious moments but you get a lot of heart too so prepare to laugh and swoon throughout this one.
The Bitch List is the next book from Nikki Ashton, which takes us back to Dayton Valley & to catch up on what’s been going on. Firstly - The Bitch List has firmly planted itself in my Number one fave book in the series. Shaw and Nancy - neither of them has a good thing to say about each other & boy they don’t hold back with the snark, the sass & the put downs or banter. One of my favourite couples that Nikki has written. Written in her wonderful style of mixing all the emotions together with a generous portion of humour & the end result is The Bitch List.
OH Wow, Nikki what a brilliant book, in true Nikki style it had me laughing all the way through, it's a real pick-me-up book, with a great storyline. It has you hooked from the start till the end wanting to know what insults are coming next.
Nancy and Shaw have hated each other since high school, but when they have had a few to drink the sex is off the charts, but that doesn't happen often and they go back to the love/hate relationship. The one-liners and the banter between all of the characters are simply brilliant, it is great that all the other characters are in this book and add to the humour, Ellie and Bronte were so hilarious you are crying with laughter at them. You get the true family feeling from the love to the family banter, you feel like you are there with them.
As you go further into the book you can see them both softening and starting to realise they don't actually hate each other and have feelings, then they find out the truth about what started the feud and things change.
As Rom-Com go this is right up there at number one, 5 stars are just not enough for this book.
What an EXCELLENT Book !! OMG I absolutely loved it. This is the 4th book in this series and unfortunately for me I haven't read the previous 3 books, but that will definitely change after reading The Bitch list.I haven't read Nikki Ashton before and I regret not discovering her books before now. I adored Nancy and Shaw's back and forth relationship, they have known eachother since they were teens and used to like eachother. But that like turned to dislike when something happened to change that. The banter between these two is fantastic and the sexual tension is off the scale...One of my favourite things to read is the sexual tension between characters and Nikki wrote it brilliantly.I Love Nikki's writing style and the way she draws you effortlessly into the story,it was just so easy to get lost into this book. The Bitch List is sweet, funny, steamy and emotional ,The Humour is totally entertaining and the comedy pure gold. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. It is Amazing.- Cat W
Welcome to Dayton Valley, where the women are feisty, and the men have a knack for saying exactly the wrong thing. Oh, and the parents are as rambunctious as teenagers! This fourth Love in Dayton Valley book is Nancy and Shaw's love story - or fight to the bitter end, denying every feeling while falling hard for each other. These two are a riot with witty banter, and the chemistry is off the charts. There's a thin line between love and hate, and this pair stomps all over it. Shaw and Nancy run into a lot of misunderstandings, including the thing that started the friction between them. I'm not usually a fan of misunderstandings and miscommunication as a cause for the angst in a relationship, but it works for this couple. And it makes for some great banter between them. This latest RomCom in the series is just one more reason to love the characters, the setting, the romance, and the laughs. This, like its predecessors, is a great way to escape the grind of everyday life for a little while, and I know I'll come back to visit from time to time.
This is book 4 in Ashton's Love in Dayton Valley series and while part of a series can be read as a standalone. Fair warning as this just happened to me - I have not yet read the prior books in the series and now, I totally have to go back and read them all. In fact - I can't wait to read more from Ashton! This book was everything I could want in a romance read. Balanced beautifully with laughs, sweet romance and steamy chemistry - this book was perfection. Well written, Ashton easily draws us as a reader into the lives of our main characters Nancy and Shaw and their story. Captivating from start to finish I can't wait for more in this series but more from Ashton period. Love, love, loved this read!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.
So this is book 4 in the Dayton Valley series and this book is just as good and as crazy as the others! Jumping right back in with characters thay we have previously met, we know get the full story of Shaw and Nancy. They always say there's a fine line between love and hate and this is proved with this enemies to lovers read. The banter and carry on between these guys and that blooming list definitely kept me amused while i was reading for sure! Its funny how everyone else can see how perfect a couple are together... but the couple cant! The sparks were flying all over the place and they were determined that the hate was still 100% there lol Lots of snippets of previous couples we have met which is always great too! Nikki Ashton never fails to keep me engrossed in any story she tells and i really cant wait for the next book in the series and anything else she brings us!
4.5 stars, 4 steamy kisses ARC COPY REVIEW Book #4 in the Love In Dayton Valley series
enemies to lovers, childhood crushes, single parent, single dad, small-town romance, teacher's aide, lawyer, custody dispute, rom-com, slow-burn, steamy
The animosity these two have against each other stems from moments of their shared past and now adults and two or three if you want to get technical sexual encounters and these two enemies agree that the sex between them is awesome if only they could not get into a fight or piss the other off at first sight. Between issues of future employment, exes, current flings, impending surprise fatherhood, and two competitive want-to-be-pregnant friends and you got yourself a hilarious and steamy rom-com.
This is the fourth book in the Dayton Valley series and is about Shaw and Nancy. These two are not really on good terms with each other as a result of something that happened back in high school. They strongly don't like each other but are extremely attracted at the same time. This leads to some witty banters, funny moments and steamy scenes. But underneath we have too, some serious moments as well. The side characters, known from the former three books, are still awesome, caring and funny. A very refreshing writing style which leads to many lol moments. And if the way is rocky and there are hard feelings, the author knows how to bring it to a well deserving end for all characters.
Five stars really is not enough for this book. I was really looking forward to reading this book and it really did not disappoint. Five starts will never be enough. I'd go so far as to say this was my favourite of all the books so far. I was laughing from the first page and by thank mean the acknowledgement page. Shaw and Nancy have you hooked and will not let you stop reading unless you really really have to adult. They were hot funny and sexy all rolled into one and with a couple of curve balls thrown in for good measures. Also seeing the other characters were great too and they had me laughing just as much too. Such a highly recommended read.
Nancy and Shaw are sworn enemies from high school and their banter is hilarious from start to finish. Nikki just has a way with her writing and her one liners. She is my queen of rom com 👑
These two have plenty of lol moments and the sexual tension builds throughout the book until they finally combust, but it is worth it!
Nancy has a list going throughout the book and #13 broke my heart 😢💔. I really felt for Nancy but then #16 made my heart happy 🤩
I honestly can't say anything bad about this book or series. It's another fantastic addition to the Dayton Valley series!
Fourth in the Dayton Valley series and if you haven't already started this journey with the Dayton Valley lot, then you must! You are missing out big time.
This book is the story of Shaw and Nancy and her Bitch List. The Bitch List is compiled with names that Shaw truly earns during the course of the book. It has twists and turns and as always, because no one can write like Nikki, you have the most brilliant one liners and funny moments. And then the serious and gripping parts of the story.
I've absolutely loved this book and I know it will be one I reread over and over again!
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶 Duel POV Written in First person
This was a cute story. It had me laughing out loud many times. The plot had a very good balance between the heavy serious moment and the light hearted funny ones. This book kept me entertained throughly!
I liked most of the characters. Since I haven’t read the other books in the world, I didn’t understand some of the side characters personalities. Most of them were very large, and at times I felt like it took away from Shaw and Nancy story. Which is why I rated the book 4 stars instead of five. Otherwise this was a fantastic love story.
I love the idea of a bitch list. I think we all know what a bucket list is. I have read a book on a sex list, birthday list and now a bitch list. The hate these two have, I mean it’s not like hate hate but more like unfriendly banter. I secretly don’t think they actually hate each other, it’s foreplay for them. If they could leave out the bs they will be so much happier for it. I love this series.
Shaw and Nancy have known each other since grade school… and they’ve been fighting ever since. Now they both need each other, and they’re learning that maybe the past wasn’t what it seemed. Throw in a baby race and nosy family, and this makes for a great read!
OMG!!!! What can i say i loved this book so much. I loved seeing the journey Shaw and Nancy where on, the journey to each other. It was funny, sweet and sexy through out the book. My favorite off the series
Damn it! I’m bummed this read is over. Such a whirlwind of laughs, healthy banter, and enough heat to keep the stakes high. Nancy and Shaw, and their cast of friends, or enemies suck you in and bring all the best feels of a terrific book!
Another great addition to the Love in Dayton Valley series. This one is Nancy and Shaw's story and it's a humdinger!! The road to their HEA is not an easy one with lots of twists and turns in the road. Quite emotional in parts and equally funny in others. Definitely recommend this x
What an EXCELLENT Book !! OMG I absoluely loved it. This is the 4th book in this series and unfortunately for me I haven't read the previous 3 books, but that will definately change after reading The Bitch list.I haven't read Nikki Ashton before and I regret not discovering her books before now. Well worth the wait! Since these two came into the books I have been craving their story. Needing to know what brought on so much hostility and I was not disappointed in the least! You will get to know more about other friends and family you have not heard enough about up until now. Coming from Shaw and Nancy’s point of view you get to learn more about those they interact with, such as Tate. Reading this series truly makes you feel as though you are one of the towns people, a member of their inner circle. You will love this series, so stop reading this review and buy your copy, curl up in your reading spot and enjoy!!
This is the fourth book in this fantastic series, and this is Nancy and Shaw’s story. These two have known each other since grade school and have butted heads as long. Nancy has hated Shaw since senior year, and he loves to hate her as the girl that got away. Still being able to push each other’s buttons, they come to a point in their lives where they need each other. Can these two leave the part where it belongs and move forward with their lives. This is a well written story which has tension, family, friendships, emotions, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Absolutely brilliant book, Shaw and Nancy have to be my most favourite couple of the series... the hateful banter between them is highly entertaining and is obvious to everyone around them they are HOT for each other. Nikki once again injects so much humour and fun into this story, it has it's hard moments as well but definitely the laughs outweighs the bad and the storyline is fast paced and beautifully written I challenge any reader not to come away with all the feels. What a great 4th book in the Love In Dayton Valley series. You don't have to read the previous books but I recommend you do because you should not miss 1 laugh out loud word Nikki has written. I loved getting to know Shaw and Nancy in this book. I adored Nancy. She's a very likeable character. Shaw went to a new level in my eyes with a certain addition to his life. I'm a sucker for that trope in a romance book but am not going to ruin the book with a spoiler here! This book is full of heart, relatable situations and plenty of laughs. I already can't wait for more, again!
The gang are back and this time fate has its hooks into Nancy and Shaw… enemies with benefits because they are definitely not friends.. Their banter is laugh out loud funny and so is the list she makes after every single time Shaw messed up. We have some serious moments for both Nancy and Shaw but they make a good team and once they both put their differences aside… The more time they spend together the less of enemies they seem and more friends … We get to see the rest of the gang and their mad antics… I loved this book and it’s a good addition to the series…
