If you like Kuresawa, this is your book - he narrates most of it. Since he's not the character I'm in this for, it didn't quite do it for me, although it's still a very nice novel in the spirit of the manga.

Another cute and fluffy novel in the series! Quite a long part of the novel was narrated from Kuresawa's point of view, which was refreshing, but still had the classic charm of Sasaki to Miyano. I also personally enjoyed the main couple's relationship told from Sasaki's point of view, as well as the elaboration on Sasaki's friendship with Hirano. Overall, it's a great and delightful read!

First half of this book was narrated from Kuresawa's point of view, whereas the second half by Sasaki, which I found more interesting. Lots of minute details in the light novel that give you the backstory to some parts in the manga. It really dives into Kuresawa's story and his relationship with his girlfriend on that came to be. I was more invested in Sasaki and Miyano, so the second half held my attention more.

This timeline backs up the period just after Sasaki and Hirano's graduation, as they study for college entrance exams with some flashbacks.

Loved this. This one in particular is more well-organized than the first and has some great art, stories, and perspectives. This was mostly narrated by Kuresawa, and we get to see how the second-years' Hokkaido trip was, which was so lovely. The last two chapters are narrated by Sasaki and that was cute too, and also gave us an even deeper insight into his thoughts toward Miyano, his classmates, and how he himself views his change over time since meeting Miyano. This was great stuff, and I couldn't help but smile while reading the whole time.

Excellent Backstories

I really loved both Vol. 1 & 2! Provided many small details about the background of both Sasaki and Miyano story-line and some welcome hints about Hirano and Kagiura!

Another cute novel with additional stories! I was surprised this one stuck with Kuresawa as the narrator for so long, but I do enjoy his POV. Also Sasaki's POV.

This was SO CUTE!! Loved it more than First Years! Kuresawa ruins all men for me. Sasaki and Miyano’s chapter had so much TENSION! So good!

Can I just say that I love these light novels so much? It's so great to hear more about Kuresawa and his girlfriend. It's also really funny to see him watching these relationships from a third-person POV and being just like us readers. He was so funny with how he not so subtly was guiding Sasaki and Miyano to just get together already. As always my favorite part of these light novels is to hear from Sasaki's point of view. That boy has been through a lot with his longing and waiting so it's always fun to hear from him and get his thoughts. It's also funny because in front of Miyano he's all cute but around everyone else he's either grumpy and quiet or awkward. I love the duality of his character so much. Overall a great read for anyone who likes Sasaki and Miyano.
