Danger and romance make for an unforgettable meet cute…
Former Navy SEAL Seth Jacobsen has been hired to find the kidnapped infant of billionaire Trent Caldwell. Tracking down the baby is easy. Getting the little one away from the sassy and beautiful nurse looking after her? Not so much. Seth doesn't understand how she can be so warm and affectionate one moment, and so cold the next. But he can’t deny, there’s something about her he just can’t resist…
Chelsea Andrews refuses to back down. A mysterious stranger hired her to look after a baby, and nobody is going to get in the way of her doing her job. As far as she’s concerned, men like Seth are one thing… Trouble. And despite their growing attraction, she isn’t about to give her virginity away to just anyone—even if he is tall, muscular, and unbearably handsome.
When they’re forced to work together to return the kidnapped infant, Chelsea realizes there’s more to this gruff alpha male than meets the eye. Could he be the man she’s been waiting for?

Things happened way too fast. In the span of about 5-6 hours they meet and hero decides she's the one for him and he wants to have babies with her. Slow. Down. No real depth to the story.
Another book in this series. It carries on from the CEO's Pregnant Lover with Seth and Chelsea as the main characters. Preview of the next book, with Chance and Rachel, has me keen to jump in!
Leslie North has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Chelsea and Seth. Seth was asked to help his friend Trent and his wife Brianna. Their new born baby had been kidnapped from the hospital. Chelsea had been contacted about a job taking care of baby by Marco Bresi. Seth has asked Maria to see what she can find out about Marco and she has come up with a few places that he could have rented. Seth has gone to check out one of the addresses and sees a woman. When he gets to the woman, she wants to know who he is. He tells her who he is and what he is looking for. He wants to know who she is and where the baby was. At first, she doesn't tell him. Before she can say anything else, the baby monitor she was holding goes off with a baby crying. Seth tells her to take him to the baby. When they get to the baby, he tells her to pack up the baby's stuff because he is taking her. Chelsea tells him that he is not taking the baby without her. Seth tells her that the baby had been kidnapped and he was taking her back to the hospital and her mother. Chelsea agrees to go with him and they get the baby ready. Seth takes her to his vehicle, but when they get to it, a man is there. Seth tells her to stay there and he went to take care of him. When he gets back to Chelsea, he takes her to his vehicle and tells her to get in the back with the baby. Things doesn't go easy for them since Marco's guards come after them. The men in the other car start shooting at them and Seth's SUV gets hit. Seth takes care of the other car and soon his SUV stops. Seth tells her that they are losing fuel and they would have to walk. Chelsea gets the baby out of the SUV and they start walking. They walk for a while and when it starts to get dark, Chelsea tells him that they would need to find a place to stay that night. He finds them a place to stay for the night. The next morning, they have a talk and she wants to know why they were not walking next to the road. He tells her that Marco's men could be looking for them. She said that she and the baby could not be in the heat all day and he gives in to her about walking next to the road. Once walking next to the road, a car stops and it was the woman from Marco's house Mrs Panturo. When Chelsea goes up to the car, Mrs. Panturo pulls a gun on her and told her to get in the car. Mrs Panturo shots Seth and then again tells Chelsea to get in the car. Chelsea tells her that she won't without Seth since he needs help. Once they get back to Marco, he is upset with her over her taking the baby and leaving with Seth. Things don't go well for Marco since Chelsea tells him what she things of him once she finds out why he took the baby. She ends up getting Seth in the car again and takes him to the hospital. Once there, she takes the baby up to her mother and father. After talking to the police, she wants to go and check on Seth. Will Chelsea and Seth get together or go different ways? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.
After reading the first book, I eagerly jumped into this one. I thought it was going to be about another couple but following up on what happened with the baby. Here is the problem, it is that but it is also introducing another possible romance as well as jumping around between characters. This is a mixed narrative, however it is too mixed. So many voices telling the story makes things really jumpy and can get confusing. The bad guy as a bit of the narrative as well, this is strange, it feels like the author has not decided if we should hate him or pity him. I wonder if the series will see him redeemed eventually or if Trent will ultimately take revenge on him. At this point things could go either way.
With everything going on and all the points of view, things are very crowded. This is a short read, it never has the time to gain proper momentum and show a relationship between the leads. Ultimately, I was disappointed and do not think I am going to keep going in this series.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Dawn Ann Billings, who does a great job considering all the characters she needed to connect with. There are so many voices, they are not always distinct. Her pace is nice and she has great energy in her read. I would love to try her on something else because I am not sure this really showed her abilities.
Ms North is a newer author for me, I may have to give her a little time before trying another read. She had great premises and an interesting writing style, it just needs more story. I am a big fan of showing the details of a relationship, rather than telling about them after the fact. I might do the next book if it comes to audio, but I am not jumping around begging for it.
*** I hope this review was useful to you and helped your decision to read or not read this book. I love reading and sharing my opinions with other readers. I listen at double speed; all my impressions of the narration are from that setting. Thanks for taking the time to read my review! It was the job of a lifetime for neonatal nurse Chelsea Andrews, looking after a new born baby with travel included, when the car pulled up in front of a luxurious chalet, high in the mountains she thought that the job couldn't be more perfect...........how wrong was she ? Seth Jacobson and his partner Shawn , both ex navy SEALs, ran a security firm, they had called in to congratulate their good friend billionaire Trent Cardwell and his wife Brianna on the birth of their baby daughter only to find Brianna crying and Trent looking murderous...........the baby was missing, presumed kidnapped. The main suspect was businessman Marco Bresi, there was bad blood between him and Trent, he blamed Trent for his daughter's death but if it was Bresi what did he want with the baby, was he going to harm her ? Seth was tasked with finding the baby and returning her to her distraught parents but he didn't bank on the tenacity and protectiveness of the beautiful blond, sassy, baby's nanny, Chelsea Andrews. This is a very short story that follows Seth and Chelsea coming together to protect the baby with no name, could he trust Chelsea ? could she be in league with Bresi ? Could Chelsea believe what Seth was telling her, Bresi had treated her so well, could she believe that he would abduct a baby ? whoever was telling the truth, Chelsea would protect the baby with her life and ruggedly handsome Seth would protect this feisty nanny with his. An enjoyable romance with a lovely HEA.

This book literally picks up from the last scene in book one, the plot is continued and the investigation is ongoing...so I highly suggest you read book one first, it is also available on Kindle Unlimited. Seth shows us many sides to his personality here and he is confused as anyone about his conflicting feelings and thoughts, but even as he tries to keep Chelsea at arm's length, he still treats her with respect. Chelsea is an interesting mix, she is generally confident in her actions but we have moments of vulnerability that creep in, even when doubting Seth's story she knows she is safe with him and doesn't hesitate to sass him. Their feisty banter and smart quips to each other will bring a smile and whilst she is inadvertently in the wrong she proves herself the hero more than once. I really like that we get to see a softer more loving side to Seth, but be aware the overall plot is not completed in this book, you will also need to read books three and four - but all are available on Kindle Unlimited, which is where I read this book.
Much like the first one, things happened too fast. Even faster for these two characters. After only a day, he's already thinking about moving in together, and already has plans for the future (kids, marriage, etc.). Just too fast.
Also, how dumb is Marco to not have more security in his house? They got the baby back way too easily and fast. Great for the family and the baby, but it was kinda ridiculous.
Chelsea and Seth This is a fast paced action packed story. Seth is hired to find the kidnapped newborn baby. Chelsea is hired to care and protect the infant not knowing she was hired by the kidnappers. you will have to read this story full of danger and romance to see what happens.

4.5 ⭐s It was only supposed to be a routine job caring for an infant.
Seth Jacobsen is a former Navy SEAL who co-owns a security firm, MJI, with friend Shawn Marshall. They are friends of Trent and Brianna Caldwell. They arrived at the hospital only to discover the couples' newborn baby girl has been kidnapped. Needless to say, Seth and Shawn are on the case.
Chelsea Andrews has been hired to care for a baby for 6 months. She's a nurse specializing in neonatal care and has also done private nursing. She's shocked to discover that the baby can't be much more than 24 hours old. Where's the baby's mother? How is the baby related to her employer, Marco Bresi?
When Seth shows up, he tells her he's taking the baby. She can come or stay but he and the baby are leaving. She can't leave the baby alone with him... She's having trouble deciding if Seth is a good guy or a kidnapper.
Seth has never been attracted to safe and sweet type of women. Those are the type requiring marriage and that's not what he's interested in. But give him a woman who can lie and scheme - she's for him until he decides it's time to move on. Chelsea seems to be both types rolled into one. Has he found the first good girl he's wanted?
When the bullets start flying and Seth is hit, will Chelsea stay with him?

I've been waiting for the sequel to the Ceo's Pregnant Lover and I wasn't disappointed. Seth is looking for Trent's baby which has been stolen by his arch enemy. Marco's daughter had killed herself and he blamed Trent. When Seth finds the baby, he takes the baby's nurse with him. In the process, he is shot and barely escapes. He is attracted to the nurse and wants to know where the relationship can go. The story is very good and I enjoyed the happy ending.

Chelsea and Seth are explosive in this book! Their passion leaps out at the reader and scorches you. A feisty nurse meets her match in the former marine. Leslie does a good job of blending the secondary characters into the story line without taking from the main characters. I look forward to the rest of the series and more sexy marines.

Seth is a former SEAL. An infant is missing, and it is his job to track the infant down and rescue the baby .Chelsea is a nurse and she was hired to look after the baby. She wonders where the mother of the newborn is. Things are a bit off in the mansion where they are staying. No cell service. No landline. A strange man. Come with me, he said. What? Guards. Shooting. Protect the baby. Great story.
Trent and Brianna are looking forward to the birth of their child. Before Brianna could even hold her child the baby was kidnapped. Seth steps in to help and finds the nurse caring for the baby. There are a lot of twists and turns before the parents find out what happened. There is action, suspense, and romance. I chose to write this review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms North.
I have given a five star rating because I could not put this book down. The story is powerful and I was disappointed when it finished. I want to read more by Leslie North please
I know these books are meant to be short but the poor editing just made this unreadable for me. Couldn't even get to know the characters through all the bad spelling and grammar.
This book was full of excitement and danger. The love was unexpected by both characters. The caring of the kidnapped baby was such a sweet and wholesome touch.

This is the conclusion to CEO’s Pregnant Lover. All the questions are answered as hot SEAL Seth takes on the case. Chelsea finds herself in his crosshairs and has to decide if she can trust him. It is an easy quick read with a happy ending.
I loved how the storyline keeps with previous while introducing another. Well-written and keeps the suspense. The hero in the story is my favorite by far.
The SEAL’s Virgin Lover (Denver Men #2) by Leslie North Publisher: Relay Publishing Genre: General Fiction (Adult), Romance Published: April 27, 2023
The SEAL’s Virgin Lover is the second book in the Denver Men series by Leslie North. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone mystery or as part of the series.
I loved the action in the book! The suspense was awesome, and the storyline was so engaging! The characters were fascinating, with awesome chemistry, and were well developed. The romance was smokin'!
This book is a quick read that I could not put down! I can't wait to read the next book! I definitely recommend checking out this book!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The SEAL’s Virgin Lover is the second novel in the Denver Men series, and it is definitely fast-paced and heart-wrenching as the search for a kidnapped newborn kicks into high gear.
Seth is friends with Trent, the baby’s father, and as he and his partner arrived at the hospital to give their congratulations the reality of the situation had them immediately involved in the search for baby Faith. They were part of a security company that handled the hard cases just like this so it was natural to just step into professional mode when needed. They soon learned two things. They were sure of the man behind the kidnapping, Trent’s enemy… and they knew who was now taking care of the baby, Chelsea. The one thing they didn’t know was if she was part of the kidnapping plot… or if she was just as innocent as the baby in this chaotic situation.
Seth’s and Chelsea’s chemistry is off the charts at their first meeting which was certainly not within the daily care of a newborn. The danger is very real as Seth removes Chelsea and the baby from the hideout location into the unknown with danger hot on their heels. Chelsea isn’t about to trust this stranger with the baby, and at first, will fight him in every way possible. As the reality of their situation becomes clear she must pick a side to trust, and against all logic she’ll follow Seth… for now.
This story is full of danger, action, passion, and sizzle as Chelsea and Seth work together to save baby Faith and avoid the men after them. I was drawn into their story quickly and didn’t intend to put the book down until the end. I loved their banter, and after the main danger had passed, the way they both finally acknowledged the emotions building between them… beyond those steamy moments. If you love your romance full of fast-paced dangerous situations, a couple that fits together, and a chance to watch two unlikely people fall in love quickly but believably, then you’ll want to pick up this one soon.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the author or author’s team via Booksprout, and I sincerely thank them for their trust. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
The SEAL's Virgin Lover is the second book in Leslie North's Denver Men series. As a side note, I had started reading the second book in this series first, not realising it was a series. I got halfway through the first chapter before deciding to go get book 1 - a decision that I can't regret because while each book in the series focuses on the romance of a difference couple, there is an over arching plot with a rich and powerful man who has become the villain of the series. So the moral of that spiel is, highly recommend to read the series in order. And now, at the end of the book 2, I am completely invested in this series and the next couple who will come together and we will hopefully see the bad guy get his punishment.
Book two is search for the newborn baby of Brianna and Trent (book 1) by security expert and former SEAL, Seth Jacobsen. The book picks up immediately where book 1 left off. Seth is on the mission to track the Italian millionaire businessman who has it in for Trent Caldwell and had the baby kidnapped shortly after birth. He finds the baby, as well as the innocent nurse/nanny, Chelsea Andrews, who was hired to take care of the infant, not knowing that the baby girl, whose name she had never been told, was kidnapped. When Seth and Chelsea meet, Chelsea will do anything to protect her tiny charge but is quick to realise that her employer is the bad the guy.
This probably isn't the kind of book for people that don't like insta-love stories, but I really enjoyed the chemistry and passion between Chelsea and Seth. Their actions show that it is definitely not all about the sex or the difficult circumstances in which they met. They work well together and I enjoyed them.
I also enjoyed the brief glimpse of their siblings, Chance and Rachel, who are the subjects of book three. Can't wait to see what happens there!.

Seth and Shawn were both in the armed forces and now run a security firm. (MJI= Marshall Jacobsen Investigations). Seth is the Jacobsen. They are also friends with Trent Caldwell. So they went to the hospital to congratulate him & his wife, Brianna about their baby’s birth. However, just before they arrived the baby was kidnapped from the hospital. No one could see the kidnapper well and some of the camera’s had already been tampered with. Marco Bresi is an enemy of Trent’s = loooong story see book 1, although the explanation is coming up in this book shortly. Marco hires nurse Chelsea to look after the baby. Chelsea is 26 and has worked as a neonatal nurse as well as a private nurse. She knows something is up because the baby is a newborn and there is no name given for her. So she calls her Bambi since everyone with Marco calls the baby Bambina. Mrs. Panturo is Marco’s assistant and doesn’t talk much. Seth is a technophobe. He believes that technology can be hacked so usually uses his flip phone because a smart phone can be hacked and his GPS coordinates would be given out, etc. I know the feeling, my dad has only been away from a flip phone for a little over a year. Lol. Do not get me started on him lol
Seth always has a “go” bag ready. Maria is the assistant at the office and is 7 months pregnant. She and her husband have a tendency to try and hook Seth up with their friends. Since she is good with computers she finds a lead for him and he calls his brother Chance to call in some of his bro’s favors as he was once FBI. Seth is stubborn and hot and good at his job. Mischief and mayhem collides as he tries to find his friend’s baby. I love Chelsea. She is funny, hot and doesn’t let Seth get away with much. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

This book was definitely a page-turner that kept me hooked until the end. This story was fast-paced and heart-wrenching as the search for the abducted newborn kicks into high gear.
Chelsea Andrews, a neonatal nurse, scored the job of a lifetime, looking after a newborn baby with travel included. Little did she know that her employer had nefarious intentions when she arrived at the luxurious chalet.
Seth Jacobsen and his partner Shawn, both ex-navySEALS, run a security firm, and they arrived at the hospital to congratulate their friend Trent Caldwell and his wife Brianna on the birth of their baby. They find Brianna crying and Trent looking murderous because their baby has been abducted.
Trent suspects Marco Bresi, a businessman who has had bad blood with him because he blames Trent for the death of his daughter. Seth is tasked with finding the baby and returning her to her distraught parents. After some research, he heads out to check out some remote properties that may have been rented by Bresi.
Seth did not bank don't the tenacity and protectiveness of Chelsea, the baby's nurse. This book is a short story that follows Seth and Chelsea coming together to protect the baby. Seth and Chelsea both wonder if they can trust each other. Seth wonders if Chelsea was in on the abduction from the beginning, and Chelsea is not sure if she is assisting Seth in kidnapping the baby from Bresi.
I loved the action and the romance between Seth and Chelsea. Their banter was great, and if you love romance with fast-paced dangerous situations and a satisfying HEA, this is the book for you. Seth and Chelsea are an unlikely pair, but they fall in love quickly and believably which I liked.

This is book 2 and I was held captivated right up till the very end and I loved how the main characters had to learn to trust each and work together. Seth Jacobsen a ex navy seal that runs his own Security Firm and while visiting his best friend billionaire Trent Caldwell and his wife Brianna after the birth of the baby girl Faith but it soon turns to desperation when she is kidnapped by Marco Bresi who blames Trent for the death of his daughter and saying he was the father of her unborn baby but it was all all a lie and now he has there daughter and he asks Seth to find her. Chelsea Andrews is a nurse that’s thinks she has landed her dream job looking after a baby girl but soon realizes that all is not as it seems and that the baby is only a day old and calls her Bambi and the mother is not around but when she is saved by a sexy man telling her he is taking the baby back to its mother and at first she’s not sure and soon knows he is telling the truth but there attraction to each other has Chelsea wondering if he is the one to give her V-Card to and then there is Seth who is very interested but he doesn’t date nice girls but he wants her and they have a steamy night together but anything more will have to wait because they are captured by Marco again and Seth is shot and needs help so Chelsea gets Seth into the car and takes him to hospital and takes Faith back to her mum and then specks to the police but all she wants is to get back to Seth and make sure he is ok. Her sister Rachel was so worried after Seth’s brother Chance came and told her what had happened. How does it all turn out and do they catch Marco and what happens between Rachel and Chance.

This was a short book, and I hadn't read the previous books, but I don't think I was at a huge disadvantage. Shortly after the baby's birth, she's kidnapped by a scorned man who previously lost his daughter and unborn grandchild. Chelsea is hired to care for a newborn baby, which seems to be in mysterious circumstances, with her boss being dismissive of any questions she may have. Seth was a SEAL and takes it upon himself to find his friend's newborn baby while he consoles his heartbroken wife. The whole story is a rollercoaster ride with high action, high romance and high stakes. The two meet when Seth finds the cabin in which the baby and her new nanny are staying. Chelsea had already felt uneasy about the scenario, and was awfully confused and suspicious when he turned up. Managing to convince her that he's trying to return the baby to her mother, the two attempt to flee the cabin and find their way back to the hospital. The story was good, but I found the whole thing slightly over-dramatised and the characters rather surface-level. I think it was risky to include a baby as the main plot point of a book. The whole 'virgin lover' aspect, while I appreciated it not being a huge deal for Chelsea, you could tell Seth was taken aback. I think creating a huge aspect of the story in the title but barely making it a discussion point was a shame. I think writing this story on a deeper level would have been more enjoyable, and the characters richer in story and emotion. I'm sorry I didn't enjoy this as much as others but I'm glad they loved the story. For me, I struggled. As always, my opinion is only my own.
Trent and Brianna’s baby was taken from the hospital. They was only a couple hours old. She needed to be found immediately! Trent’s friends that have a security firm was on it. The searched the hospital checked cameras. Seth was looking into Marco Bresi background thinking he took the baby. He was checking the area for rental property to Marco liking. Chelsea Andrews is a nurse who is helping her sister with her eight month old boys. Her sister’s husband was killed and she was helping out. She got a job offer from Marco Bresi. He background as a nurse with neonatal training. She came recommended. Chelsea took to the baby immediately. Marco never where the mother was and her name. She found it weird. Seth came to the property Marco was staying at. He noticed two guards in the back and saw Chelsea standing on the porch. It turned out to be a rescue mission for the baby. She refused to leave the baby. Seth was determined to reunite the baby with her parents. He was attracted to her. He felt things he never felt before. He took Chelsea and the baby away from the property. Bresi was informed that the nurse and baby were gone. Chelsea found her self attracted to Seth. They went through a lot in a short amount of time. Seth was determined to get that baby to the hospital to get a DNA test done. So many things were happening. It is a great story. Can’t wait for the next book!.
