Nothing can stop freelance thief Sasha Smirnov from saving her planet -- except, Dirk, the gorgeous ambassador with polychrome eyes. Is it lust or designer pheromones? He is hot, too hot to resist -- or forget. A single, sizzling kiss burns him into her memory, and her body, but she can't afford to stop for passion, let alone love.
Sasha needs to get as far away from Dirk as possible and take the classified data she stole with her. So she stows away on a ship outward bound, only to discover Dirk's the pilot. Now she can't get away from him, or the system, but he will let her into his bed...
Publisher's This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find Public sex.
First of all there is NO believable connection between hero and heroine. She at first uses her enhanced Double D breasts to lure him as she tries to complete her mission. Then they find themselves alone on a ship - and they continue to have sex - again I have no idea why. She is using him somewhat to get information to save her home planet - but there is absolutely no basis for a relationship.
Then there is rubbing of "boob cream" to make her boobs smaller, but he tricks her and makes them huge so she finds "boob-be-gone" cream to reduce them...this is where I had to stop. It is just way, way too out there for me. Not sexy - just sex scene, after sex scene.
This was an exciting, action-packed space adventure filled with unexpected twists and alternate life-forms. The motivations of the characters were especially well-conceptualized, as were the sophisticated weapons, tools and gadgets used throughout the escapade. More
Sasha Smirnov is on a stealth mission on the planet Centor when she stumbles across the technology that'll save her own planet, more importantly her ailing father. Working as a freelance thief, Sasha is bank rolling her entire operation and is just shy of broke without the datachip she's been contracted to steal but the warp-field generator in the bowls of Centor has the potential to save millions of lives and Sasha will do whatever it takes to get the generator plans to Magnus 3, her home plant that's about to be consumed by its super nova sun. Her escape plans are are going well too. She's even managed to steal a mind blowing kiss from an gorgeous Ambassador before stowing away on a outbound ship. Unfortunately for Sasha, this is when all her plans go to hell.
No sooner does Sasha become comfortably ensconced in her stow away position when a green floor to ceiling electronic scan passes through her person and the room she's hiding in. Thankful that scan didn't kill her as some have been rumored to do, Sasha feels a moment of relief before her sexy Ambassador strolls into her hiding place. Busted. And come to find out, that green scan wiped all her data memory including the warp-field generator! But Sasha has a plan, one that includes getting some play time with the hunky Ambassador before she'll commandeer his ship, return to Centor and re-retrieve the data. Sadly, Sasha's plans fall apart again, but this time not only does she face the real risk of losing her heart, but she faces an even more dire risk of being unable to save her father and Magnus 3.
The Heroine:
Brave, resourceful, and fearless, Sasha may be a thief but her heart is always in the right place. And while she does possess the cunning skill and "I work alone" attitude her profession demands, Sasha's actually quite vulnerable and trusting. Having never been befuddled by an all consuming lust, she crumbles sensually beneath her Ambassador's touch, a.k.a. Dr. Dirk Roscoepilot. Garnering her wary trust, Sasha is rocked with pain when he betrays her to the Pinkertons, galactic cowboy police. But her body still can't resist nor can it cease craving his touch and when he saves her yet again and despite still being confused by his intentions, Sasha will risk betrayal and more just to be in Dirk's arms one last time.
The Hero:
Dr. Dirk Roscoepilot is a mystery throughout the read. Matching Sasha in bravery and resourcefulness, he surprises her with his espionage skills but is open with his lust. Together, the two passionately ignite upon the pages but his overall intentions are never clear until the very end. A man who doesn't enjoy relinquishing control, his intelligence allows him to be the one moving the chess pieces of his and Sasha's relationship. Despite all the hoops his secretiveness forces Sasha to jump through, the reader never lets go of hope that at heart, Dirk's a good guy.
My Final Thoughts:
Told in third person narrative from Sasha's point of view, SASHA'S CALLING is a fast-paced, erotic thrill ride. Galactic espionage abounds with high-tech fantasy weaponry and detailed space mobility, painting a lush picture in the reader's mind's eye. The detail never overloads the plot but heightens it giving just enough filler for this action-packed novella. In addition, the combined vulnerabilities and warrior-like qualities of Sasha make for a fun journey. Finally, there are a few elements of the ridiculous that either require a more open minded reader or the ability to roll things off your back for the sake of entertainment, but in all, this is a fun read that'll make an hour feel like a minute. Enjoy!
Sasha Smirnov is on a mission to save her planet and the people on it. Not only is the safety of Magnus 3 important but also the safety and sanity of her father. Working freelance and sneaking on to Centor where she is stealing important information. Sasha is discovered and a chase ensues which leads Sasha to stumble upon the Warp Generator. This technology will save her planet. To get this information into the right hands (these hands do not include her boss's Orsans enchanced mauling hands) She must escape alive and avoid the Pinkertons who seem to know her every move. Before Sasha can escape Centor, she runs directly into Dirk Roscoepilot and in an attempt to hide from her persuers, she takes the initative, plasters herself to Dirk in an explosive kiss. Fleeing to the nearest ship and determinded to stow away to safety, Sasha is having complex feelings about that kiss and the reaction she's having to it. What she doesn't expect is to encounter Dirk again, or that the ship she is hiding on is none other than his and he's determined to finish what she started.
I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, full of action with a few laugh out loud moments. Really, who wouldn't want some maxi-boob cream?? I'd actually prefer some boob-be-gone, and would love Dirk to rub some of that on me :) I loved the chemistry between Sasha and Dirk. It was an instant, hot attraction and Sasha was sure she was fighting some pheremone Dirk was wearing causing her feelings to go haywire because having such strong feelings for Dirk just seemed impossible. Dirk's character seemed somewhat questionable, I knew he had feelings for Sasha, but his motives were throwing me off. Sasha wasn't sure she could trust him. I knew these two needed to be together and as we gleamed more information about Dirk I was able to let my guard down with him as Sasha was doing the same. Overall, this was a really good read for me, the only thing that maybe bothered me a little, was all the terms. I've only read a few books that have been based in space and I would of loved to have a glossary to refer to to some of the other planet names, or other species we encountered. It also threw me off at the end when Sasha acknowledged she loved Dirk and told him she loved him but he didn't say it back. I would have like to have heard Dirk say it as well. The story was told through Sasha and I knew how she was feeling, but I would of liked to have a glimpse into Dirk's feelings. Regardless, I still really enjoyed this and can't wait to see what else T.C. Archer puts out
Another fun read by T.C. Archer. The immediate action from the first page by Sasha on the run trying to escape the Pinkerton Security Forces after she has stolen some valuable data and has come upon a secret that could save her father and her planet “Magnus 3” has me glued to the pages. The excitement of Sasha’s kick azzz abilities with her weapon “the Omegatron” dropping the Pinkerton forces like a cowgirl in the west had me loving her character all the more. I liked Sasha’s character so much I even had an image in mind as I read about her:
With the authors description of the scene as it played out I could have sworn I could hear the action words “Zot. Zot. Zot.” make the sound she was describing when Sasha was firing her Omegatron, it had me feeling as I was there on the chase with her. I so would love to have one of those bad boys – LOL
This was such a fun read and it was fast paced all the way through the book. I loved the connection and situation that Sasha found herself in with Dr Rosco-pilot (Dr. Slick Dick). Their whole time spent together was humorous, sizzling hot, and love at first sight. The erotic scenes were sizzling hot as Sasha and Dirk went at it every time they look at each other no matter where they were (In public on the run).
There were several things I loved about this sci-fi romance besides the weapons Sasha used but I loved the technology used in how they could use hair growth enhancements on their own heads to change their length of their hair and I loved the boob enhancement formula that gave you any size boob you wanted –LMAO! Dam, I need to get some of that stuff for myself – LOL To top it off, the planets they stopped at were interesting with the different types of creature life that existed out in space on the different planets.
Over all, the story was cute and had me smiling all the way through the book. The ending was perfect as the plot played out with Dirk coming through for Sasha helping her save her father and her planet and being her life partner for ever. Such a sweet ending!
This is an enjoyable romance set in the future. Sasha is trying to save her world and her father. She meets Dirk and they have wild animal sex everywhere. In between all the sex, they fall in love and save the world and her father. The book can be a little cliche, but is enjoyable all the same. Reviewed by MsErotic
A nice written a fast-paced ride through space.
If you're a sci-fi fan, it might be a tad predictable, but the well-described scenery and characters more than make up for it. Humor and suspense mixed with hot scenes wrapped in flexible space suits. Reviewed by Rina
It was a very good read which was engaging and an easy read. This book and its characters captured my attention from the very first few pages and drew me into the story quickly! It is full of action, love, and erotic sex! Wonderful combinations for any good book! Sasha is a spit fire and Dirk is everyone's ideal HUNK!
I can very easily see an entire series of books getting deeper into this world and its characters. The author give a good mix to keep you reading and needing to know what happens next. If you enjoy the combination of love, sex and Sci-Fi. This is a book for you! Was it the pheromones? I think NOT so but would love to pore some on my husband and see what happens! Reviewed by Wicked
It was action and heat packed. I didn't want to put it down. The authors did a great job of putting this book together. There was never a lull in the story. The characters, Sasha and Dirk, have great chemistry. When they aren't sexing each other up they are fighting to save each other. With the story taking place in outer space it was even more exciting. I'm ready for the next adventure. Reviewed by Talena Soustek
A classic-style space opera of sexy rogues and planet-ending catastrophe, Sasha's Calling tells the story of a mercenary who gets a lot more than she expects, in more ways than one, when a mission goes sideways. While attempting to steal biotech secrets, the title character finds herself on the run from Pinkerton security agents (it's nice to know at least one company is going to survive in this economy). She takes a turn down an unknown corridor, and finds a secret technology worth far more than what she'd been hired to grab - it could save her homeworld from destruction, and allow her father to live out his life on the planet whose unique magnetosphere keeps his disease at bay.
I'm such a nerd that I'm tempted to give this book 4 divas just for giving me an excuse to write "magnetosphere" in a smut review.
When Sasha escapes, she finds herself on board the ship belonging to Dirk, the most attractive man she can imagine. Their irrepressible attraction for each other distracts each of them from the fact that they are on the run and work for competing organizations. And the mission isn't over yet.
The book is a fun and quick read, with some nicely done sex scenes. It's funny in places and never goes too long without the main characters getting each other's clothes off. But it is not a great book that one would read just for the story. The plot is pretty shallow and without any real surprises. It never livens up enough to really grab the reader. The characters are completely two-dimensional, with family ties introduced in an attempt to give them some depth, but which are never explored enough to make them worthwhile.
The story is told entirely from Sasha's point of view, and she's never sure what Dirk's real agenda is. This provides most of the dramatic tension, since her personal motives are mentioned but never explored. The reader knows that she wants to save her planet and her father, but never gets any sense of feeling about them. Sasha is also in trouble with her crime lord boss that she is supposedly frightened of, but she never seems to really care, even during their big confrontation.
There is quite a bit of humor, which was a pleasant surprise. This is definitely a book that doesn't take itself too seriously. The sex is completely heterosexual and vanilla, with a few joking references to spicier activities. By some standards, there isn't a lot of variety in what they do, but they do it pretty well. It's worth giving a read and bookmarking the "good" chapters. Reviewed by Sonja Vanadis
People, we’ ve only got 122 pages to save the planet, here…
Oh, the dueling requirements of an ambitious novella versus a reader’s needs. SO much to cover in such a short period of space. So few pages to really build a romance...what's an author to do?
The plot and the characters have to move fast to fit all the space travel and bad-guy fighting/planet-saving in there with the sex and romance. And they do. From the opening shots of a shiny plasma-lazer-zapper gun at pursuing Pinkertons (nice nod to the Old West, by the way), Archer opens the story and moves. Quickly. Not once can a reader complain that the plot or the action stalls.
The characters were interesting.
Heck, anyone with chrome eyes, living on spaceships with magical boob expansion and reduction creams will have our attention from the get go.
Sasha, our heroine, starts out the journey a bit unrefined in this reviewer’s opinion. A bit victim of circumstance (and a tad novice, perhaps?) who hides on a spaceship and happens to be discovered by our hero...not the strongest motivation to drive us into hyperspace, but it doesn't snag you very long or make you stumble through the story. You get over it and you begin rooting for her and her hero and all the crazy, hot, space nookie that follows.
Dirk? Dirk’s the brainy hunk we never had in our high school chem class. Dammit. He’s got to be something special for readers to let go of our initial “holy hell, they get naked really quickly” reaction and just go with it. But we find our groove with these two and we go along, all the while treated to a new universe and new race. The ultimate in escapism. And the sex is steamy. And inventive. Made us blush a shade or two on occasion. Just sayin’.
Reading experience:
The bottom line is Archer put plenty of conflict in our heroine’s lap immediately and kept the pressure on. Lives were going to be lost if she failed. Period. To this, Archer mixed a sexy hero, a bunch of technology, a few hairy man/mammal species, some robots, a lot of science and, well, lust. A lot of lust. The book was high stakes and high emotion through out. Not everyone’s tastes, we understand some people love their understated regencies and medieval…but this is not one of them. And that’s good.
We cheated and read a few reviews before we actually cracked the Nook open and read it and were actually surprised at a grumbling here or there about the sex being misplaced and too abundant. To that we answer: well, you bought an erotica.
Yes, it has fantastic Sci-Fi flair and alternate worlds and creatures…but you bought erotica. The expectation is for lots of sweaty, heated hook ups that keep our characters occupied and naked while saving planets, defeating villains, and shooting their cool pew-pew-pew guns (gosh, we loved her pistol…can you tell?).
The pace was perfect, the characters fascinating enough to keep us along for the unfamiliar, extra-terrestrial ride, and the outcome (a mere 122 pages, mind you) was rewarding. Highly recommended and many happy returns wished for Archer.
Sasha’s Calling was my first voluntary dive into the Sci-Fi scene, and I liked it.
Sasha is currently on the run for stealing some important information from one planet to give to her home planet. Whilst escaping she stows away on a space ship hoping to later commandeer it and fly home.
Sasha for me was a funny character, but also mildly unlikeable at the start. Although I could understand her desperation she seemed a little too naive to be a fugitive of the galaxy. She trusted to easily and I think that it was her down fall. If she had been a little more cautious then there almost wouldn’t have been a need for the story going the way it did. I felt like she almost had a character change a third in, going from “ooh this is a pretty stateroom, I’ll just hide in here and hope I don’t get caught” to the heroine that was not only cunning but was a lot tougher and likeable.
Although Sasha’s Calling is a primarily erotic romance the Sci-Fi elements were also scattered in and they were quite interesting to me as a person who usually steers clear. With the added element of different alien species all living together being the norm and frequent inter-planetary travel happening every second day I almost would have like to see more action happening.
Sasha’s Calling was quite shallow overall with no one element being truly explored. You had a bit of Sci-Fi and a bit of sex. The sex was quite hot, I’ll admit, but – and I don’t want this to sound wrong – it didn’t pull you in, they were just words that were on a page to me and they were more sex breaks rather than plot inducing sex: “We’re on the run from an evil mob boss who is stronger than both of us combined he should have nearly recovered from the beating we just gave him! Quick let’s have 10 minutes worth of sex just to fill in the time...”
In saying that it was shallow though I am not saying that it was a bad story. It moved along quite nicely and kept me engaged for the entire time that I was reading it. Sasha’s Calling was good while you are reading it, just not overly memorable a couple of days later.
Sasha’s Calling is good for a quick sexy read that has an added element of action and spacey weirdness.
Sasha is a freelance acquisitions specialist, in other words a thief for hire. While fleeing with the goods on her latest job she discovers a technology that will save not only her dying home planet, but possibly dozens of others. Knowing that this information must be given to people who will help others she acquires as much information about it as possible.
With the goods that her employer desires and the technology that will hopefully save countless lives Sasha stows away on a ship leaving her pursuers behind. The problem now lies with the man who is the owner/pilot of the ship, Dirk. Sasha can’t keep her mind, body, mouth (keep filling in the blanks with body parts) off of him. With Dirk as a constant distraction how will she ever get the data to the right people?
Sasha’s Calling had a nice mix of sci fi, humor, romance and action. Sasha having to work with a team for the first time ever was exciting to read, she’s a loner who doesn’t follow orders well. The boob be gone cream scene is too funny and so male. If that technology did in fact exist I can easily imagine too many men doing exactly what he did if the opportunity were to present itself.
The entirety of Sasha’s Calling is told from Sasha’s point of view. Readers spend much time in her head. She is constantly over thinking everything. I would have loved to have seen some of this book from Dirk’s point of view. It would have been interesting to know more about him also.
Sasha is on a mission. Her home planet Magnus 3's sun is going to destroy everyone and everything she holds dear. Sasha's father is sick and needs the environment on Magnus 3. It is keeping him healthy longer. Once the evacuations happen, there is no saving him. She will lose her dad and everyone on Magnus 3 will lose their homes, and be scattered around the universe. Unless she gets some information. The Centurion's planet's sun, was very similar to Magnus 3, yet the planet is thriving....HOW? That is what Sasha has to find out. When she manages to get in and steal the info, she runs into trouble on the way out. She sees a handsome man in a nice suit and as a diversion from the police force on the planet, "the Pinkerton's", she pushes the man up against the wall and starts kissing him. She has all ways heard that Centurion's were easy and he kisses her right back. In fact the kiss makes her want to do more right there in the elevator. But just as soon as the Pinkerton's go by, fouled by the diversio, the hot man she was just kissing takes her weapon. The Omegatron not only is her weapon but also carries the information she just stole, the secret to the Centurion's protection of the planet. Sasha gets away with the info and stows aboard a ship going off planet. She finds out the ship belongs to a man named Dirk. The man she had kissed in the hallway of the planet and the one she can't seem to get out of her mind. When he finds her aboard his ship, he knows she is hiding something but he can't help but want to touch the her. He has not been able to get her out of his mind. Sasha has a theory he is wearing designer pheromones? He just knows they have great chemistry together. They are drawn to each other in a way neither of them have ever been. But can she trust him with her secret. Sasha has been hurt before and has a hard time believing he would do anything for her. And when they arrive at their destinations and the Pinkerton's show up and try to ambush Sasha, she knows he set her up. Yet she still can't get him out of her mind. Can Sasha get the information to the people of Magnus 3 and save her planet and is everything with Dirk what is seems?
This is a very fast pasted, action filled rush of a book. If you are looking for action both in and out of a bed room this is a book for you. Even you guys out there will love this one. Just enough tech stuff and tons of fighting scenes and some really good sex scenes. This one is for everyone. Adults only!

~*~*~ What do you get when SciFi action and steamy erotica join together in book form? Sasha's Calling! Sasha's Calling is an enjoyable read, full of plenty of action—of both the steamy and heart-pounding variety!
This novella tells the tale of Sasha Smirnov's risky journey to steal top-secret technology plans from another planet in hopes that it will be able to save her own planet from imminent destruction. She knows this isn't an easy mission, but she's prepared to do anything to save her father—and her planet. However, she never planned on meeting an ambassador while escaping...Nor did she plan on finding herself a slave to the desires he sparks within her. He's an addiction she can't undo, no matter how much she tries to distance herself from him. He must be using some form of very powerful pheromones to make her react this way....Right?
But when Sasha realizes that she might care just as much about Dirk as she does the fate of her world, she doesn't know what to do. Does she trust her heart or keep it protected and carry on her mission? Could she even live with herself if she did the latter?
One thing is certain: Sasha's Calling is heavy on the erotica element (which is not a bad thing necessarily). However, while I love my books steamy, I enjoy them to have more...substance, more romance to go along with it. I didn't get a good read on either Sasha or Dirk's characters, and I didn't see the romance between them.
The lust was there, sure. But even it was a bit off. For one thing, the story would be in the middle of something (conversations, getaways, fights, etc) and suddenly clothes would go flying as Sasha jumped Dirk's bones (or vice versa). Okay, I get it: they were hot and heavy for each other. Great! But are you telling me that they are going to stop mid-conversation and have sex? Or worse, that in the middle of a chase, when they are running for their life, they are going to stop in an alley for a quickie? It might be hot in theory, but in reality—not so much. Run, people, screw each other later!

From the very beginning Sasha's Calling caught my attention and never let go through a series of steamy interludes and fast-paced action sequences. It's an exciting thrill ride set in a colorful outer space universe with a memorable collection of aliens and scientific technology. The author vividly depicts this futuristic world in a way that draws you into the story even further. The sights and sounds are palpable and create the same vibe as your favorite sci-fi tv shows.
From the moment Dirk and Sasha meet the sparks fly and things only get hotter from there once she becomes a stowaway on his ship. The sexual tension is strong as their verbal foreplay commences to discover what each is hiding. Sasha's in debt to a nasty criminal in hopes that she'll discover the technology to save her father and home planet, while Dirk is an agent for a group whose motives aren't always clear. But after meeting her he's on her side and will put his life on the line to see her safe. The interactions between these characters is delightful both in and out of the bedroom. Their sexual interludes are super sexy yet playful as Sasha is no wilting flower and Dirk is the very definition of charming. As they work together to get the scientific information to save others, trust has finally been created between them and they use their physical and mental strengths to keep each other safe as they race through a dark and dangerous planet chased by those wanting them dead.
This story was a fast-paced rollercoaster ride that kept my heart pounding as our protagonists race to an exciting and satisfying conclusion. T.C. Archer has created a story reminiscent of Indiana Jones with the story's overall tone providing what the best sci-fi does.....entertainment.....courtesy of characters who are immensely likable and more than capable of taking care of themselves. Instilling humor, sexiness, and vivid and unique worldbuilding only made it better and more memorable and I would love to return to this world in the future.
For a fun romp through space TC Archer is so the way to go. Their stories are always a little bit quirky, a little bit wild and adventurous, full of sexy and touched with danger. It's a great combo that makes for an entertaining read.
Sasha's Calling was a fun little read. I enjoyed Sasha and her plight. Her home planet is in danger and she's risking everything infiltrating another planet to steal classified info that will help stabilize her home planet and keep everyone she loves safe. If only things had gone as planned and her mission pretty much blows up in her face and she ends up stowing away on a ship that belongs to Dirk who is kinda in a way the authorities.
The two have a crazy case of insta-lust that stays pretty lusty throughout the story. There's lots of yummy sex as they flit across space for a couple days, deal with crime lords and she works on getting back to steal the technology she needs. I love seeing all of the wacky and weird that's involved in the world. The technology and other species. That they can change their eye color (he had chrome eyes to start with) and there's boob cream for quick increase or decrease in size and other random kinda silly things. It's just a fun world to get lost in and explore.
The one thing I wish has been a little more pronounced was the actual romance. The two have lots of sex, bicker a bit, save each others asses but the romance part of it was incredibly light and an aspect I really missed. If you go into this one just looking for a fun space adventure and a sexy escape you'll love it.
Sasha's Calling is a fun sexy sci-fi with the romance and erotic elements we love. At around 130 pages it is the perfect length for a weekend read and what better way to escape for the weekend than to follow space spies and diplomats across the galaxy and through space ports while making sure that at every spare moment is used to jump each other.
Sasha may be a freelance space spy but her bigger mission is to save her father and the people of her planet from the death of their sun. Dirk, sexy diplomat, has his own agenda when it comes to the information that Sasha has stolen. Together they may be able to help each other and the people of Magnus 3 but the heat they share is a super nova of its own.
I enjoyed this fun, action filled space adventure and I loved that Sasha has a "greater good" that she it working for. Dirk is an enigma throughout the book but he is dead sexy and seems to have amazing stamina. ;O) This is a great light read, its cute, funny and sexy with no deep meanings or dark undercurrents its just fun.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
A really fun fast paced story!! Sasha and Dirk had great chemistry. There were times I though things moved a bit too quickly but overall very believable for a sci-fi.
The writing was really great I had a few laugh out load moments that caused heads to turn in my direction! A really enjoyable read that was the perfect length. I adore a spicy book with a sense of humor!!
I usually have to be in a sci-fi mood to deal with an space fantasy. This one put me in the mood and really kept me there! I loved all the crazy gadgets and alien inventions. Sure many things were what you would expect in this genre and not really groundbreaking. But it was a really fun read in the end!
The steam was plentiful!! Holy Hot Space sex!! Yummylicious!! Very inventive and super sensual!!
Kudos to an action packed book!

I enjoyed this novel and the author has written the characters well. The entire book is written from Sasha’s point of view so you get to know her and want her to succeed. It would have been great to have a pov on Dirk helping us readers to get to know him a bit better though. Sasha’s Calling has a mixture of science fiction, humour, action and romance with a twist of erotica. The novel moves along quite fast and I thoroughly enjoyed it. T.C. Archer's writing is good.
Sasha's Calling is exciting, action packed with twist and turns for a great read. I hope that we see these two characters in future novels. I would definitely recommend this novel to my friends.
Wow! What a fascinating story! This is the first time I've ever read anything from the science fiction genre. Not only was I completely enthralled from the completely unique and interesting story line, I was thoroughly entertained by the erotic and sexy side of the story as well. Talk about HOT! There's also a bit of suspense within. Those things make up one hard to put down novel. Sasha's Calling is the trifecta of great stories. Not only is the story great, it's sexy, and it's the perfect length.
I recommend this to anyone looking for something different or wanting to try out the SciFi genre. It's definitely different than anything I've ever read before, but not overwhelming. This story has encouraged me to pick up more from this genre!
The hero had silver metal eyes and I thought, ooh good a robot. And then his eyes are blue and then they're silver, but then finally blue and he's no robot. However, this robot fetish thing I've got going made me like this book a little more than I would have. At the end with no robot and with a declaration of love by one of the characters I thought where did that come from, I'm not sure how I feel about this book. Different.
T.C. Archer pens "Sasha's Calling" in a fast paced plot filled with action, steamy scenes with a touch of humor. The story is told from Sasha's point of view and her characters had some good chemistry between them. A fascinating story that kept my interest from the beginning.
