Look 1: This Fall's Best Corduroy Jacket
If there's one designer capable of making something as sleepy as a corduroy jacket—or any staid garment, really—exciting, cool, and covetable once more, it's Miuccia Prada. She's able to mine the past for menswear staples that have gone sour and reconstruct them into modern pieces that are very here and very now. And that's just what this corduroy suit jacket is. It's in lock step with the machos '70s themes we saw across the runways this seasons, but is hardly a rehash of what's come before. And, of course, it comes with some very Prada twists in the form of leather trim around the angular pockets while the jacket itself is cut as slim and feels as luxe as you'd expect from a designer piece such as this. If you're looking for an investment piece for Fall 2017 that you'll be able to wear next fall and many after that, look no further.

How To Wear This Fall's Coolest Corduroy
Like any suit worth your money, Prada's take on this season's essential corduroy can be worn together or broken apart. At the office, pair it with subdued underpinnings like a tonal check dress shirt that plays into the rich brown hue. Off the clock, wear the jacket with seasonal staples you wear most (i.e. indigo jeans, turtlenecks) and the pants with everything from your favorite white T-shirt to a crewneck sweatshirt.
Look 2: Our Favorite Non-Band Band Tee
Olivier Rousteing's tenure at Balmain has turned him into a rock star of sorts, so it makes sense that for his latest collection the talented designer created a series of hair band-era graphics and applied them to the ultimate merch silhouette: a T-shirt. Of course in Rousteing's world, a T-shirt is never just a T-shirt and this one has the high-end details you'd expect. The cotton is ultra soft but still sturdy. The fit can best be described as "cool French kid." And the graphic itself—and feral party starring a panther, a leopard, and a snake—isn't just screen-printed on the chest but rather is the entire front panel of the shirt. It's the kind of tee that's destined to become a collector's item but that shouldn't stop you from wearing the hell out of it right now.

How To Wear Fall 2017's Best Designer Tee
Every guy knows how to wear a T-shirt, but when you're talking about one as eye-popping as this, there are a few guidelines you should keep in mind. We'd suggest playing into the shirt's inherent rock star vibes, which means leaning into the rebel style menswear lane. That means black jeans, Mick Jagger-approved velvet tailoring, and a leather biker jacket—the ultimate frontman must-have—all layered together with a denim jacket and some hardware on your wrist.
Look 3: A Dude-Level Sweater for Every Dude
Ralph Lauren's RRL is a labor of love for the iconic American designer. It's a lineup inspired by the past, sourced from around the globe, and pays tribute to the kinds of garments that menswear aficionados can't find anymore. And then it's all given that special RL touch, which means something you think you've seen plenty of times—like a chunky knit patterned cardigan—feels as if you're seeing it for the first time. And that's just how we felt the first time we laid eyes on this geometric linen-blend knit inspired by trading blankets. It calls to mind the Dude sweaters—as in Jeff Bridges's character from The Big Lebowski—that we're seeing everywhere this season. Except not all come knit by hand with real wood buttons, the kind of details only Ralph can do.

How To Wear The Fall's Best Patterned Cardigan
A cardigan like this, though refined, plays best with pieces that feel a little rugged. And in the canon of outdoorsy menswear, nothing can compete with washed and worn denim. So throw this cardigan over your favorite denim western shirt or pair it with your best jeans and finish either look off with the kinds of accessories that work best with this kind of look, like a cuff bracelet and western-inspired belt.
