Infant Island is a four piece band from Fredericksburg, Virginia who formed in June of 2016. Infant Island play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of atmospheric post hardcore, post metal, punk, and screamo within their sound. Since forming in 2016, Infant Island have released a split with Small Hands in March of 2017, a digital single titled Where There Is Rain in May of 2018, a self-titled LP in August of 2018, a four song 12" titled Sepulcher in April of 2020, and a nine song LP titled Beneath in May of 2020. Collections 1 is the band's latest cassette, which was released on June 5th, 2020. On Collections 1, Infant Island offer up fifteen tracks of extras, remixes, rarities, and demos from between 2016 and June 2020. Overall, Collections 1 makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy! On a side note, if you'd like a cassette I'd snag on ASAP because the band is down to their last seven copies.
