Rashomon is a five piece band from Washington, D.C. who formed in early 2017, from the looks of things. Rashomon play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and d-beath within their sound. Musically, Rashomon can be loosely compared to bands such as C.H.E.W., S.H.I.T., The Repos, Rash, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Rashomon have released a four song demo in February of 2017 and a six song Live EP titled Live In Chicago/Aid To Guatemala in June of 2018. Pathogen X is the band's latest MLP, which was released via Iron Lung records on November 16th, 2018. On Pathogen X, Rashomon offer up six tracks of raging and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and d-beat. Overall, Pathogen X makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
