From LA trumpeter-turned-tunesmith Tommy Peltier (who last week, we should note, turned 91!) comes a new single, out today: "10,000 Greyhounds," a frantic exorcism of jangle-blues with Tommy’s many dogs on the hell hound trail of lore. Recorded at Capitol Records in 1971, the rock ‘n’ rollin’ rhythm guitar drives the song with Lou Reed-style physicality, sending Tommy into scats and the band into jams.
