Overview
In 2047, the Event Horizon, an experimental spacecraft, unexpectedly reappears after vanishing seven years ago on its maiden voyage. An experienced salvage team led by Captain Miller and accompanied by the ship’s creator, Dr. Weir, is dispatched to investigate. On board, the team discovers evidence of a massacre and hints that the ship traveled far beyond its original destination. The team stumbles across a video warning from the original crew urging anyone who finds the ship to flee. Dr. Weir, possessed by a malevolent presence, activates the gravity drive and intercepts Miller as he attempts to destroy the ship. Unable to escape, Miller separates the crew quarters from the engine room, saving the team’s survivors, before disappearing with Weir on the Event Horizon.
