Joining Endor Labs has been a thrilling step in my career, guided by a principle I find myself returning to time and again: The rule of three. My decision was shaped by three core elements: Culture, problem/solution focus, and customer engagement. In this post, I'll share why these aspects of Endor Labs are so compelling.

Culture is always this somewhat nebulous thing, right? It’s super hard to really get a grip on it or describe it accurately. But, from what I've experienced at Endor Labs, even just as an outsider looking in initially, you can just tell. This company genuinely cares about making customers successful, empowering incredible people to achieve remarkable things, being the platform that brings developers and security professionals together, and—you know—everyone is having a blast while doing it.
I mean, all you need to do is take a look at that adorable mascot or attend a meetup, and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
The people working at Endor Labs are truly exceptional. It's rare to find this level of expertise, success, and humility all just one Slack message away, whether you're an employee or a customer. So it was a no brainer for me to want to work with and learn from them! (I do feel like I tricked them into letting me in 😜.)
The AppSec Problem/Solution
Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working with some of the brightest minds in the DevSecOps space, focusing specifically on making application security (AppSec) more accessible and actionable for enterprise software developers. Despite advancements in technology and the emergence of more sophisticated practices, the AppSec landscape remains in its nascent stages. As a leader in the customer experience domain, it's crucial for me to be passionate about both the problems and solutions an organization wants to address. This is where Endor Labs stands out.
Endor Labs approaches the problem from a unique angle. Our mission is to empower developers to ship code faster while ensuring their software supply chains are fortified with unparalleled reliability, integrity, and security. We've already established ourselves by solving a significant part of this mission with our market-leading reachability-based SCA capability—after all, no one wants to sift through a mountain of vulnerabilities without understanding their impact, right? However, this is just the start of what I believe to be an AppSec renaissance.
AppSec Customers
I'm passionate about working with customers! There's nothing quite like solving a problem, sparking an "aha" moment, or gleaning insights from their experiences to brighten my day. The AppSec space, with its unique challenges, is especially demanding (in a good way). Helping organizations secure their applications efficiently is not just exciting: It's crucial. As our lives become increasingly digital, the stakes in software security extend directly into our physical reality. The chance to make the digital world a safer, less risky place gets me out of bed in the morning, especially when it means making those who build it more efficient—who doesn't want a few extra hours in their day?
Moreover, there's an incredible opportunity to assemble a team dedicated to maximizing customer value and success. In the past, SaaS companies had to narrow their focus to scale and meet traditional market and personnel models. But with AI's ascent and our customers' evolving needs, Endor Labs is poised to take a different approach. We're committed to supporting, enabling, and uplifting our customers in ways that are as innovative as they are effective.
