Through the efforts of Suzanne Gall Marsh & the UMass Archives a rare 1969 film showing Boston & many of the Harbor Islands has been restored and is available for viewing - click on the image and prepare to be taken back in time! The video is just under 18 minutes long. Enjoy!
the 2024 autumn Boston Harbor Islands cleanupFrom September 13-22, 2024 trained volunteers and community members collaborated to collect, document, recycle, and properly dispose of derelict fishing gear, vessel parts, and other debris from five key islands: Great Brewster, Middle Brewster, Outer Brewster, Calf, and Lovells Islands.
