Vail

Ski resorts in USA
Vail in Colorado, USA is a classic ski resort. It is one of the country’s largest ski areas and among the most popular locations for skiers. The pistes are well-maintained, the lifts work very efficiently and there are slopes for everyone. In addition, Vail offers great off piste skiing for those who like taking off on their own. There are several bowls here with top class skiing experiences for everyone.

The highest point you can get to by lift is 3,527 m, giving you a vertical drop of 1,073 meters, once you’ve taken off. When the sun has set and the skiers slowly but surely get back to the cottages, then night life is kicking in. There is a wide range of after-ski places, bars, restaurants, huts and night clubs around. Remember that you are at high altitude, even when walking between the bar and the dance floor. You can easily lose your breath after a few drinks.
