We had a 4 hour drive to our destination. After 1 1/2 hrs the low tire light came on, as well as some other service lights. The van almost stalled, would not accelerate a few different times which was obviously a driving hazard. It was an automatic transmission, so this should not have occurred. When are returned the van after we drove back from the far west coast at the end of the trip, the rental staff was not bothered or concerned. Pretty terrible. Took forever for their “shuttle” to bring us to their sketchy off-site location. Once there they make you sign a pad as they “explain” the rental contract vs letting you read it, and adding their random fees along the way. When you finally get done you realize the cost is more than 5x what your online booking said it would be, so when you try and refuse the car at that point they say, sorry, you signed a contract (that you havent seen yet) and your only option is to take the car or find a way back to the airport to find other options. They gave away our car to another person and didn't say anything to us for 30 minutes. And then tried to give us two cars that were smaller than what we purchased. After an hour and 4 cars later we were given a car that was dirty and unwashed.Reviewed Mar 24 2024
