The Seven Elements is a shield that can be wielded by Goofy in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.

Design

The Seven Elements is comprised of seven smaller, circular shields of varying sizes, all of which have lilac-colored edges. The shields represent the seven magic spells which appear in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.

The largest shield is light orange with an orange flame adorning its face, symbolizing Fire. A shield with a white face decorated by four light green, heart-shaped leaves in the pattern of a clover symbolizing Cure is connected to the Fire shield's lower left corner. The smallest of the seven shields, this one with a black face and a faded blue eight-pointed star symbolizing Gravity on it, connects to the Cure shield's upper left corner. Connected to the Fire shield's upper right corner is a shield with a face covered by two interweaving spirals, one light green, and the other white, symbolizing Aero. The second-largest shield is connected to the Fire shield's upper left corner, this one being cyan with a large, white snowflake symbolizing Blizzard emblazoned on it. A white shield with two black clock hands twisted into an "s" shape, symbolizing Stop, is attached to the top of the Blizzard shield. Finally, a yellow shield with two jagged, white lightning bolts, symbolizing Thunder, connects to the left side of the Blizzard shield. The Seven Elements' handle is attached to the Blizzard and Cure shields.

Gameplay

In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Seven Elements is the only shield that increases Goofy's MP by three points, making it the most powerful in regards to magical power. It has average size, but poor recoil and strength. Equipping this on Goofy is somewhat questionable as he does not use magic attacks like Sora and Donald, but his MP Gift ability allows him to convert this extra MP into usable MP for Sora. If MP is not a concern for Goofy, equip him with Defender which has 13 strength, is much larger, and has great recoil, or the Mighty Shield which is even stronger with 15 strength and maximum recoil at the cost of size and the former's +1 MP. At level 57 or higher with Seven Elements and four accessories that increase his MP by 2, such as Cosmic Arts, Goofy can achieve a max MP of 16.
