Book: "The Way We Wore: Styles of the 1930s & 40s". Originally rejected by every major publishing house in the US, it was finally published in 1993 by Fallbrook Publishing Ltd. (ISBN 1-882747-00-3). An extraordinarily beautiful "coffee-table" tome with 500 photographs, it was created by Hunt and her friend of 50+ years, writer/filmmaker Dirk Wayne Summers, who, along with Robert F. Laktas, founded Fallbrook Publishing Ltd. in order to bring this work to a global readership. The book was received with great critical acclaim and became an instant "reference work" for film and television Costumers. It is included in the syllabus of "Schools of Design," worldwide. No longer available through the publisher or Distributor, "The Way We Wore" is a much sought-after "collectible" , fetching many times its original cost ($49.95).
