He acted in Tony Kushner's play, "Angels in America," in a Royal National Theatre production at the Cottesloe Theatre in London, England with Henry Goodman, Sean Chapman, Marcus D'Amico and Felicity Montague in the cast. Declan Donnellan was director.
Founder of the charity Sponsored Arts For Education, a touring company which highlights AIDS awareness and funds African AIDS organizations. In Der ewige Gärtner (2005) he directed a stage play called "Huruma" about AIDS which was performed by an African theatrical troupe and watched by one of the characters in the film.
