Romola Remus(1900-1987)

Was the first to portray Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" on film. She had already been portrayed by an actress named Anna Laughlin in the 1902 stage musical based on the story. The stage musical had nothing to do with the famous Das zauberhafte Land (1939), which was based on the book's main plot but condensed the story format.
