Is one of two actors to play Mas Amedda in
Star Wars: Episode III - Die Rache der Sith (2005). In
Star Wars: Episode I - Die dunkle Bedrohung (1999), he was preceded in the role by British actor
Jerome St. John Blake. Bowers took on the role in
Star Wars: Episode II - Angriff der Klonkrieger (2002) and Revenge of the Sith, both shot in his native Australia. Additional Senate scenes were written after principal photography wrapped and were shot in England, where Blake played the role for those scenes, but is not credited.
