Helena Carroll(1928-2013)

Trained at the Central School in London, which became the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts, before coming to the U.S in 1948. In New York, she and Dermot A. McNamara founded the Irish Players, a repertory company, active in the 1950s -'60s, that was dedicated to presenting the work of Irish playwrights.
