Eating Barbecued Ribs with Bob Dylan during lunch on the set of Masked and Anonymous was pretty cool. In between scenes he'd be playing music on the sound stage with his band. Alex Desert and I were sitting in our director chairs just watching Bob Dylan play all casual-like right in front us. We listened to a few songs, wondering if he'd play All Along the Watch Tower. Alex said, "Aw man he ain't go play it. I'm going to the bathroom. As soon as Alex walked out of the sealed off set, and the heavy stage door slammed, Dylan and his band started the opening chords of All Along the Watchtower. Everybody on the crew all stood there in awe, holding up our cell phones, with friends and relatives on the other end. It was surreal. By the time Alex got back from the bathroom, he asked, "Hey man, anything I miss?" I didn't have the heart to tell him, to this day he still doesn't know.
