In 2021, Tom won Best Original Score for the series "Fight For The Wild" at the NZTV Awards, and was also a finalist for the APRA Awards in the same year. In 2014 and 2015, he won back to back awards for "APRA Best Original Music In A Series" with the TV show "Girl vs Boy" (seasons 2 and 3 respectively). In 2016, Tom was a finalist for "APRA Best Original Music In A Feature Film" with the documentary "The Art Of Recovery", and he was also a finalist for Best Original Score at the NZ Moa Awards with "3 Mile Limit" (aka "1480: Radio Pirates") in 2014.
