In 2017, she was diagnosed with cancer and died of the disease two years later on June 26, 2019 at the age of 45. In the last period of her life, she had dedicated herself to the knowledge and fighting cancer with the help of project "I have no shame" which culminated with the recording of a video clip in the Antonio Cardarelli hospital in Naples.
