Philip has been involved in Muay Thai-Thai Boxing, since 1986. This interest took him to Thailand for the first time in 1988. He was able to launch his acting career in Thailand later. Throughout his time in Thailand Philip trained in Muay Thai and took part in 20 fights, the last at the age of 48! Philip still trains and when in England passes on his knowledge to enthusiasts there. His love for the sport and art of Muay Thai led to the opportunity to work as Ringside English Language Commentator,for several of Thailand's leading promotions. He has also performed the role of MC for professional promotions.
