EUFF Review: The Troupe (3 Stars)

It's true that Hungarian cinema is an acquired taste for the global audience because other than the wry humor and the significance of relationships found in this comical drama about a troupe illegally taking in a soldier who deserted his troops there is nothing more I could take. The Troupe also takes a look at the troubles lives of theatre artists who struggle to put their best out in the stage but live in despair without getting much appreciation for their art. TN.
