Vermin

Despite genuinely good cinematography and a solid central performance, 'Vermin (2015)' is ultimately a little underwhelming. It isn't especially bad, don't get me wrong. It has one relatively solid scare and is, as I mentioned, a well-made movie overall. Its payoff is a tad disappointing, though, and there isn't all that much to it. Still, it builds an appropriate sense of atmosphere and is actually quite compelling for what it is. It isn't surprising, but it's a decent experience. 6/10.
