WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- WissenswertesIn non-Japanese versions of the game, Master Crowns are no longer needed for characters to go from 2nd Tier to 3rd Tier (they could promote by gaining 100 EXP at Level 21). As part of this change, the number of obtainable Master Crowns was reduced because there was less need for them, reduced from 13 in the Japanese version to just 5 in localized versions (3 of them were replaced with Arms Scrolls while 5 of them were removed with no substitutions). Similarly, Mist is now allowed to promote to Valkyrie by maximizing her level and does not need to use a Holy Crown in non-Japanese versions of the game.

Narrator: Tellius - The year 648 - Early summer The northeastern nation of Daein lost a bloody war with neighboring Crimea three years ago. Crimea, however, abdicated its right to rule Daein and passed sovereignty of its former enemy to the powerful Begnion Empire. Daein's future is now subject to the whims of the empire. Begnion's occupation forces have gathered all Daein men of fighting age and put them to work in labor camps. Their work is brutal and void of purpose, designed to break both body and spirit. The remaining population faces poverty and starvation as the fields lie fallow. A band of young heroes has escaped the Begnion army to form a group called the Dawn Brigade. Fighting for a free Daein, they alone have stood against Begnion's forces. They alone have shouldered the hopes of their nation. Among the company is a young girl named Micaiah, who is said to possess mystical powers. The people of Daein have come to know her as the "Silver-Haired Maiden." They have come to think of her as the savior for whom they had been waiting. Begnion's forces have tried time and again to capture and silence the Dawn Brigade. However, Micaiah's ability to sense impending danger has thus far allowed the Dawn Brigade to evade the empire's grasp.

This is the direct sequel to Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. First of all this game is divided into 4 parts with much more chapters than Path of Radiance.
When you start the game in part 1, you are introduced to the Dawn Brigade group with a light mage named Micaiah with her thief partner Sothe with their allies who fight against Jarod and his army in Daein who oppress people.
In Part 2 you have Queen Elincia and her allies fight against the town rebels in Crimea trying to overthrow Elincia.
Then in Part 3 you finally get to play as Ike and his Greil Mercenaries with the Laguz army who has a feud war against Micaiahs Dawn Brigade army.
Finally in Part 4 you divide your team up into 3 army groups trying to stop the Goddess Ashera in the tall tower.
The gameplay is the same except there is now shop Bargain section selling expensive rare items which drains your money very quickly. Also you can promote your class characters twice instead of once.
My thoughts for this game are, the artwork and CGI scenes with voice acting and the orchestral soundtrack is beautiful. But the gameplay is much longer and more tedious with much more level grinding. This game has 44 chapters whereas Path of Radiance has 29 chapters. This game is harder and more complex. Easy, Normal, Hard would be Normal, Hard and Maniac. I do wish that I could've found a good place to level up my characters and have much more money to buy stuff, otherwise this would be a great game.
If you Fire Emblem fans are planning to buy and play this game, keep in mind this Nintendo Wii game is rare and hard to find, although not as expensive as Path of Radiance. But it's still a pricey game to find even in used condition. Also you'll need to buy and play Path of Radiance in order to understand the sequel to Radiant Dawn.
I only hope that the Nintendo Company will reissue Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on Wii U or put it on the Wii Virtual Console. Until then you can still play the game on the Wii or Wii U system.
