Ridiculous Situation

One needs a bit of foundation here. I agree with the previous reviewer in that I feel an absurd situation has been created by some extremely cruel people who hold sway over all of society. The young man who is at the center isn't perfect by any standard I can think of. He's reasonably attractive but very awkward and unsure of himself. And why has he been chosen to be corrected and what do these people have to gain? While creative, it seems just random and manipulative.
