The noted European XXX actress and filmmaker Anita Rinaldi piloted this Adam & Eve video as the label turned from its fantasy and story line Couples movies toward reality porn, as typified in recent years by the Luc Wylder-dominated product line. Her approach is simple interviews with young Hungarian models (speaking in Hungarian) followed by their porno shoot initiation.

Not much different than other generic porn -the girls are good looking but none is very distinctive or graduated to an Adult career. A bonus segment is included with another girl, minus the interview or even identification, which convinced me after watching the whole thing that no one really cared -they were making a video on the level of those tiresome 4 or 5 or even 10 hour compilations of sex scenes.

Watching it at a distance of over a decade, and I'm certain no one else would be examining this very minor artifact again after its initial release, I was struck how quickly pornographers gave up the ghost of pride in their work. Sure, current practitioners win awards, cash checks, live high on the hog, and gain some notoriety. But like Rinaldi here, they are merely grinding out footage, not making films anymore. In the life cycle of Adam & Eve, its glory days circa 1998 to 2002 were over in a flash, replaced by mostly gonzo junk or over-produced "big deal" super productions, most of which ring empty today.
