Siskel & Ebert (1993)
Season 8, Episode 4
The thriller MALICE, COOL RUNNINGS, Robert Altman's SHORT CUTS, M BUTTERFLY and MIchael J. Fox's FOR LOVE OR MONEY are the five films that are reviewed on this week's episode. I still remember watching this episode when it originally aired and it's funny to think that pretty much all of these films except for SHORT CUTS have been forgotten overtime. There's no question that the Altman film was the best of the episode and it led to a great discussion by the critics. They both brutally attack MALICE, a film I liked, as well as COOL RUNNINGS, which was pretty standard and boring. Fans of the series will certainly enjoy this show as the reviews still hold up well and it's fun watching them and seeing what eventually happened to the movies.
