Clarke Kent is a Brit Porn star who gets to dominate this Dick Bush cheapie in which he plays five different tongue-in-cheek heroes. Given his stage name it's a bit surprising that Superman is not included.
Made for Television X, it has virtually no production values, with anything resembling a transition or backdrop represented by a drawing. It probably would have been more entertaining if it had been made back in the Swinging Sixties when all manner of chintiziness could have been passed off as Pop Art.
Kent is enthusiastic and clearly has "amazing recuperative powers" to hump repeatedly and issue his spunk on cue during what had to be a limited shooting schedule. The women are not big-namers this time out, though for a Brit Porn fan the likes of Cypress Isles ain't chopped liver. The most beautiful woman, cast as a presenter, doesn't get down, boo hoo!
A catch phrase: "What a life!" is repeated throughout the film, suggesting it might have been a working title. Bush demonstrates his imagination in each segment for naught, given no means to back up any ideas, as for example a rather specific send-up of filmmaking with a clapperboard dated 12/6/58 and director designated on it as P. Allen, all of which remains cryptic or in-jokey since the scene has Kent as a legendary swordsman in some low-budget adventure film.
Elsewhere he impersonates a stereotypical '80s rock musician loaded with tattoos, an imitation James Bond in a bondage/fetish episode, a cat burglar and wearing a particularly bad wig as a soccer star.
If I wasn't a completist before, I feel I've earned my stripes after watching this incredibly obscure title.
