Not Enough Cats

If you're going to make a film with a basic plot and forgettable characters based on a phone game as a thinly veiled excuse to appeal to cat lovers, why on earth would you spend such a small portion of the movie on the cats???

I don't think watching a random man struggle with writer's block for 90 minutes, with the occasional short scene featuring cats was what anyone signed up for when choosing to watch this.

The lady in the pet shop says that all cats have different personalities. That was what made the Neko Atsume game successful. Yet the film spent no time showing the cats as individuals with unique personalities.

Very disappointing!
