Just awful to sit through.

As a child, I watched the Lawrence Welk show with my grandmother, whom I loved dearly, so the show continued to be fun for me, corn and all. Howsoever, this is pure, unashamed, exploitive claptrap. The highlight (or lowlight) was the keyboards duet between Joann Castle and Bob Ralston. (Google their names if you haven't heard about their crimes against children.) Or maybe it was the much beloved Norma Zimmer's pink lips so obviously lip-synching to some patriotic tune.
