Amateurish Production

As a fan of the Middle Ages, when I saw that a movie about the Cathars was getting good IMDB reviews, I had to rent it.

Big mistake.

The lighting, sound, music, acting, direction, set design, screenplay... were all substandard. Both my wife and I were exclaiming things like, "What the heck?" in puzzlement and dismay within minutes. An early fight scene was so poorly choreographed and staged that I laughed out loud. Sadly, that was the only pleasure I took from this amateurish film. After perhaps 10 minutes, we called it quits and found something better to watch.

I feel terrible writing this review because good people spent their time and effort making this movie. But I feel compelled to warn others like me: Save Your Money.
