The Interrogation

Before Bree Mills hit porno paydirt with her "Pure Taboo" material, she cranked out quite a few "Pretty Dirty" trial runs, none of them very interesting. This set of four is typical drivel.

Showiest of the quartet is sequenced as the opener on DVD, an okay if single-minded concept poorly executed. Michael Vegas finds himself in bondage to the miscast Edyn Blair, who simply is not believable (or very adept) as a dominatrix punishing the guy, getting him to confess to his transgression. Especially phony is that she basically demands sex from him, when Bree should have studied the BDSM genre a bit harder to discover that we're presented with a contradition here. Resolution of the scene, involving NonSex guest star Reena Sky is similarly unconvincing.

The other segments are even more timid, as in Johnny Castle's corrupt cop forcing prostitute Lilly Ford to have sex with him or he'll turn her in; or Tommy Gunn forcing kid Alison Rey to have a workout (first physical then sexual). The problem with Bree's vignettes, dutifully directed by her cameramen Craven Moorehead and Matt Holder, is that they take a single idea and run it into the ground. Apparently O Henry and H.E. Bates, among so many other talented short story writers, were not part of her education, or she would realize that it is incumbent upon the storyteller to imagine and deliver a clever and hopefully unexpected twist.
