I remember when this movie came out, as I always had a thing for Suzanne Somers. I mean what red-blooded American boy in the 1970's didn't? I also loved the story. This was one of those boy meets girl, boy can't find girl, girl doesn't want anything to do with boy, boy wins her over. Like a lot of those 1970s shows (Fantasy Island, Love Boat) it is a feel good show.
I caught it again some years later and I still love it. Especially the music-You Made A Believer Out Of Me.... I actually copied the words down, as the refrain haunted me since I first saw it ... like a shinning knight of old, on a horse of silver and gold, you came along and set me free, you made a believer out of me...
These days, people would describe it as campy. I don't care. I was so glad to have found this, as it was one of the first titles I looked for on IMDb. I just wish they would release this in DVD.
Call it a chick flix, a retro movie or whatever. Just call me when its on again!
