Based on a novel by Astrid Lidgren, swedish filmmakers crafted 1974 this absolute classic for children and parents and it's a shame such movies aren't done anymore.

The children actors are great, especially the chemistry between Lillebror and Karlsson is such a joy to watch.

The effects (Bluescreen) are quite outdated, but the stop motion animation of the propeller is still great.

Very entertaining, with a groovy soundtrack and a great story about kids, their fantasy, family and friendship.

Highly recommended.
