The Great Defender

Although it was short-lived, this series contained both serious and humorous elements, with complex characters and interesting plots. The success of the main character over difficult obstacles was inspirational to me personally. I can remember a "comic relief" side plot to most of the episodes that was hilarious without being unintelligent. I hate that it was canceled so soon and can't wait for it to come out on DVD. The message for real life is clear: anyone can accomplish great things with hard work and determination. Each episode contained new and original plots, without rehashing the same tired old scenarios so common to TV. The characters were unique and the main characters complemented each other, making them all memorable and lovable over the life of the series.
